OOC Eucharis Discussion

What if it were a drone? Without PA it wouldn't have the ability to keep up with the away team meaning it would pretty much have to remain inside or right next to Eucharis. Doesn't sound very appealing. That being said, a mindless drone wouldn't care one bit. Could they just build a mind for it that has no personality?
 
it will need a personality though, hmm well since there is all the stuff for everyone maybe we could use parts of other people's personalities and make an amalgamation of them.
 
The neko's mind is supposed to be a black box that cannot be altered, pretty sure that includes opening it up to the point of telling what bit does what.

Creating a completely new (and probably child-like) personality from scratch and just letting it learn on its own may be the best option if nobody is using the body for themselves.

The Neko OS is suppose to be unfathomable complex. For something like this they'd have to go straight to the source of all Nekos.

@Rizzo Just the damaged parts and components after decon.

Figured that Tanky would take care of that since he's in the Engineering/Frabication area. Unless I am mistaken, since he posted in being in two different places on the Eucharis.
 
Tankyusha is still lying damaged in the shuttle's interior as far as I know. Tsuguka was trying to help him, but ended up just leaving him some system access cables since everybody was telling her off...

Enough time has passed that I think we can just assume anyone who cleaned the shuttle has carried him out, but he probably still isn't in working order yet regardless. That, and Ames doesn't seem to be around at the minute anyway. :/

Kale could probably do it. Somebody should ask him.
 
Naw, it's fine, no changes needed. Taharial was gone for a while, so Tsugloop could have been cartwheeling around the halls for all she knows.

Also, it's like 12 noon here. Good to know if we ever wanna JP, huh.
 
I swear he was in the fabrication area at last count...

Either way Tank permitting I could probably have a go at fixing him. Though im more the software geek. Last count Dirjon was the one who was more mechanically inclined. Not saying that Kale can't do it though. However Kale doesn't know that either Dirjon or Tank even exist yet so until someone informs him I have to assume Kale cannot interfere.

Edit: @BloodyScarlet Theres a fair few players fromengland actually. Even so, now that Riko Bors and Misato Suzume have left the crew activity Europe time has dropped considerably. (I may be wrong about where thay are though). I know however that i sometimes used to write a post click submit and then it would tell me that there were 11 or 12 posts since I started writing all from those two having a convo >.< . It was certainly lively back then.

Even so, for a couple of weeks itll be like the graveyard shift anyway. That happens after every mission.
 
I played Misato, and Riko played Bors.. I live out here in Washington state. That is pacific time... And Riko lives back east I think in the central timezone. But we both have insomnia.

yeah I am house-trapped 90% of the time, so my computer is my life.... And StarArmy gets updated every half hour to hour at the latest, unless I'm dragged from my office.
 
I'm usually availible all day and I have minor insomnia so between about 0630-2400 I'm sleeping. During the day I can't really make any IC posts, needs too much thought.
