Yoshiro took his turn. He pushed off gently and glided toward his destination and tried to move as fast as allowed. He made it without too much trouble, minus the slight bump on the head due to some upward movement he didn't account for. He arrived adn took a look around the bay.

It was immense, to be sure but he couldn't wait to try out the power armor and complete his training so he could join a fleet and join the war effort against the SMX and NMX. He was itching to get training again and he fidgeted a bit and he was getting excited. He just hoped that his eagerness wasn't showing too much.

Saki looked around giant hold. She never saw so big and empty place. Could be a holo-training room. SHe though and went with other.

She was itching to get into PA and be done with it. Also after all that theory she wanted to do something practical too.

Keiko had a little trouble adjusting to zero gravity, but after a few bumps she learned not to overdo it. Once in the large empty room she tried to get near Yoshiro without crashing into him.

Still that was easier said than done so she had to confrom herself with staying a little distance away from him.

After a late arrival and being rather outspoken, Yume was content to follow along and blend in to the point of invisibility. Not that she couldn't be seen, just that she didn't stand out. She wasn't in the back of the group, nor was she in the front. She had no trouble with the tubes. She was entirely conscious of her movements, always accurate and economical, even for something as simple as walking or pushing off in zero gravity.

Saito followed along with the group staying quiet until she knew more specifically what they were going to be doing. She wasn't having any particular trouble with the anti-grav, but wasn't doing particularly well either.

Aendri pushed away from the wall, coming up behind the group that was slowly making it's way across the bay. "Glad to see you all made it. Not having too much trouble getting around in the zero-grav, I assume? I hope not, because that's what this part of your training is, at least in part." He shrugged, looking at Ramiro. "You ready to start? I've got a couple of armors ready for that part, so we can start whenever."

"I'm ready if you are." Came the response from Ramiro. "Show them what you want and then we'll put them through some large-scale simulations."

Power armor, ugh. If I get into a fight then I've probably screwed up.

Toshiaki thought on that for a split second then ever so slightly smiled.

I guess that means its REALLY important I learn to use it. he thought self-deprecatingly.

Ramiro walked over to a side room on the other side of the large bay, motioning for Aendri to follow him. He walked in to a room full of computer panels and flashing gadgets. "Alright, how do you want to do this? The simulator doesn't have power armors in the database, so we'll just make sure that the weapons on the armor are set so they won't go off, but the simulator will still register what they do. So get the armors from wherever they're stored, load up a simulation, and get them training. Afterwards we'll start up on some other ground vehicles."

"What do you think? Put 'em all in Mindys, or should we throw some Daisys in too?" Aendri shrugged, tapping in a few commands. "I made sure we had enough of both, so whatever you think would work best. I'm just going to run a couple of Rippers and a shocktrooper past them."

Ramiro thought, "I don't really think it matters, they both handle roughly the same. Let's just give them the option, they can pick and choose between themselves." He leaned over and looked at the simulation that had been put together. He grinned as he thought of a fun and mean things to do. He leaned over and typed in a quick command, so along with the battle there would be a captured Yui in the background that would fire it's aether when commanded. "Just so if they win, the moment they're done they all get blasted and die. Life sucks sometimes." Ramiro chuckled to himself. Ramiro pressed a button for the comm and said, "Valencia-Hei to armor bay, could you please bring down the power armors that my esteemed co-worker has prepared?"

Several minutes later a cargo elevator opened on the opposite side of the room and several Daisys and Mindys walked towards the recruits. When they were nearby they stopped, the pilots jumped out, and waited by the zero-gravity passageway. Ramiro pressed another button and his voice came over the loudspeaker in the simulation bay. "Listen up, everyone needs to choose either a Daisy or a Mindy, hope in, and prepare it for battle. The simulation begins in sixty seconds, if you are not in your power armor by then it means you are slow and got hit by a stray bullet coming out of the loading bay, so your armor will not start. Remember what we taught you about Daisys vs Mindys. Go!"

Aendri grinned as his partner upped the ante a little bit, then headed into the bay. Once all of the armors were in place, he headed to the end, where a lone armor looked completely out of place among the Daisys and Mindys. So glad they actually had one of these guys around. As he mounted the Sarah, talking to the recruits as he got in. "I'll be in the simulation with you. However, I won't be commanding you. I'm your artillery. I'll only act when you need it, and if you ask for my assistance. You're on your own for command structure, unless my partner is feeling nice and wants to act as a commanding officer." Now fully suited up (though getting in had only taken ten or eleven seconds), he began the start-up of his systems, not quite used to using a power armor this big. "If you haven't been keeping track, you're down to about 40 seconds now."

Damn... I better get there fast

Keiko started moving towards the armors, her choice was already made and she had her eyes on a Daisy a little distance away from her. Once there she would get herself inside and with a little luck she'll do well in the training

With some luck I should be able to get inside without any problems

"Let's get in the armor first, we'll choose a commander after we're secure." suggested Toshiaki.

Without waiting for a reply, Toshiaki went to the nearest Mindy suit on the theory that learning it would probably be the most important thing to do given the ubiquitousness of that design in the Star Army.

Saki was not very fond of stressful moments like this. She quickly moved towards one of the Daisies. Although Mindy was clearly much more powerful than Daisy, but Saki felt that Daisy will be better for her. She climbed in and connected to her spine. It took her a little longer than usual since she was a little nervous.

Ramiro watched as everyone started jumping into their armor. He looked at his countdown timer and then hit the comm button again. "Thirty seconds, the last three had better get in an armor. The simulation will start with the ship about to exit hyperspace fold. On my mark the ship will exit and you will deploy immediately. I will only act as landing bay officer, it's up to you guys to coordinate and destroy the enemies. Don't worry about running into the walls of the simulation bay, the nanomachines used to create the image are set to disable the actual functions of your armor, so you won't actual move. But they can simulate inertia and impact, so even though it doesn't exist, bull rushing an opponent will hurt. If you die your armor will lose function and you will not be able to exit until the simulation is over, you will be able to view the battle, but no one will see you, just an armor carcass, it will be as if you're not there." Ramiro paused before he glanced at the timer. "T minus ten."

Yoshiro climbed into his armor and checked his systems. "All systems in the green. Ready to deploy." He powered on the armor and prepared for battle. Yoshiro was getting nervous but he was ready for anything. "All right let's do this." He said and waited for the simulation to begin. The Daisy that he was in was sturdy to be sure but since this was a simulation he couldn't be too sure.

Time to show what I got. It is time to prove that I got what it takes to protect my loved ones and my friends. Yoshiro thought to himself. He was ready to take command or take orders, because he thought that as long as he was in the fight nothing else mattered.

A lot of them are picking Daisies... Were they not paying attention to the fact that we're running a space simulation? Aendri shook his head, and picked up the armor helmet. He flipped a salute off to Ramiro, then put his helmet on, finalizing his prep. "In case you forgot, you can talk while you're suiting up. I'd figure out who's leading now, rather then in the middle of combat." He settled himself back; no matter what their choices to start with, he'd just sit back and wait until they actually needed him.

Yume frowned at the Daisy units. Why aren't they modified for the simulation? Would they really throw a terrestrial unit out into space? She shook her head and slipped up into a Mindy. She had no issue getting herself connected and running through starting check list.

She spoke up " Daisy units pair up with a Mindy. Mindy's should free a hand to assist maneuvering your partner. Those aren't Spaceys if you didn't notice, So working together will make the whole unit an effective force if a slower one."

"Sounds good to me. All right, let go for it!" Yoshiro said. "I would rather fight anyways." He wanted to fight, but if it came down to it he would do what he could to help the commander. "Keiko, you doing all right?" He asked after checking his weapons and putting on his helmet. He wouldn't admit it of course but he was growing rather fond of Keiko.
