RP: Fort Ready [Class 5] Back in Business

Seeing Keiko get hit again, Toshiaki moved beside Saki to help cover her.

This guy can't be more than a hit away from death and I'll be damned if we lose another team-mate to him.

"Saki-san, I'm moving in with you to help cover Keiko. Just another hit or two and this should be over."

Though he knew his aim would be poor, Toshiaki nevertheless fired at the Ripper hoping for a lucky shot.
 
Saki's drone readings told her that Ripper is functioning no more. "It's dead Tosh-san. Everybody let's hide behind Shocktroopers carcass. Tosh-san continue to monitor thet Plumeria. And have eyes peeled people, there could be more Rippers around." She said over the communication. When other started moving for the Shocktrooper she remained for a while to cover them before joining up with them.
 
Ramiro sat inside the simulation control room and went over the comm. "Pilots, return to the landing bay, report to duty stations, and prepare to engage hostiles."
 
"Okay people we are going back to ship. Form a line, Keiko you are ni middle and let's step on it." Saki said to others and went on the way back to ship with them.
 
Falling in behind Keiko, Toshiaki actually kind of dreaded what was coming next.

Are they going to tear us apart for the casualties? Or maybe for not saving the bobcats? Oh god I hope they don't kick us out of the Star Army!
 
As the small squadron returned back to the landing bay, the starships had already begun to fire. Aether Cannons blasted at each other, turrets fired, missiles flew. As the team entered the bay, the force-field opening popped online, which was then hit a few seconds later by a torpedo meant for the power armors. When they touched down, "repair crews" rushed out and waited for the squadron to exit their crafts. Meanwhile, Ramiro was frantically typing away, entering in the parameters for the final simulation.
 
Yoshiro climbed out of his suit when the call came in for the people to move to their duty stations. Remebering what one of the recruits had said about damage control, he headed to one of the damage control parties. "Is there anything that I can do?" He said to the leader.

He wanted to be sure of what he had to do before he did anything at all. He dodged around the various personnel that were running to their stations and waited for his orders.
 
Toshiaki hoped out of his Mindy and immediately set off.

Where are my skills most useful? Well at minimum I can head to the bridge.

Going straight there, Toshiaki intended to present himself to the first officer available and request an assignment.
 
Alright I made it. I was a load for the last part of the battle but at least I managed to make it out of there alive... Keiko thought as she left her damaged Daisy.

Seeing Yoshiro head to the damage control party Keiko decided that it would be her best bet to try to help there.

"Likewise, tell me if there is anything that you need done"
 
Saki landed and moved with her PA to place where it won't be in the way, where she proceeded to exit it. So only three of them made it through the first battle. That was not good, but one could say that it was better then nothing. But seeing that Keiko survived Saki had to smile.

Now what can I do? She asked herself. Seeing that she could either fight, drive and put stuff back together she moved with Keiko and others. "Santo Hei Arai Saki, returning from battle." she said when she reached the repair crew. "We are ready to help."

Wait aren't we still in simulation? She thought then. Anything can happen and we have to be ready for anything. That other ship was already taken by NMX. Could the same start happening on this one already? Maybe she wa paranoid but she setill wished she could stay in her Daisy while watching members of repair crew in front of her.
 
Suddenly, the groups surroundings dissolved and were replaced with a hallway. In front of them was a door that had been blasted open. A voice boomed over the loudspeaker. We have a breach. Shortly before the enemy ship was destroyed a shuttle was launched at us. Enemies have gained entry into the ship and are suspected to be in the Vehicle Bay. All infantry report! Just then, a weapons rack containing all of the pistols, rifles, shotguns, and submachine guns available as Star Army small arms appeared next to them.
 
"Saki, Keiko, we got the call! Grab some weapons and let's move!" Yoshiro said as he grabbed a Type 30 Accelerated Charged Plasma Scatter Gun and a Type 30 Battle Rifle. He grabbed some ammo for both and waited for the others.
 
Simulation changed and Saki took few seconds to re-orientate. Apparentyl she was on a ship or a base that was under enemy attack. But who the enemy was and how was he armed was not clear. It could be some crazy pirates as well as NMX. Althou NMX would make more sense.

When rack full of weapons appeared Saki quickly grabbed a Type 30 NSP with three extra charge packs and put it into holster at her side. She then armed herself witn an Ingtris flamethrower and one extra battery. Weapon was very long but not heavy. She switched it on and while weapon was powering up she took glance of other avalaible weaponry.

Xaser rifle was quite heavy so she grabbed Nekovalkyrja Burst Automatic Rifle and slunged it onto her back after setting it into burst mode. She then put four extra batteries for the rifle on her belt. Then she grabbed two concussion grenades and two stun grenades which she put on bandalier across her chest. She felt quite armed.

"I am ready," she said and looked on others with large flamer in her hands.
 
Toshiaki went to the rack and picked out a type 30 service pistol and the Xaser rifle given that long rane combat wouldn't be an issue on the ship. Grabbing as much ammo as he could carry, the trainee readied himself for battle.

With luck we'll have fewer casualties this time.
 
After taking a couple of seconds to reorient herself Keiko hurried to the weapons rack and quickly armed herself with a Type 30 Battle Rifle, a Type 30 Nekovalkyrja Service Pistol, two Stun grenades, spare ammo for her guns and a Type 22 Survival Knife just in case.

"Alright, I'm ready to go"
 
"All right. Keep an eye out in case they attack us. We will defeat these intruders whether they are pirates or NMX right?" He said with determination. "Spread out and let's move. Don't bunch up or they will be able to take us all out. Toshiaki, you're with me. I am going to take point. Keiko, Saki watch our backs."

He grabbed a Type 28 10mm pistol, some magazines and a Type 22 Survival Knife then prepared to move out. He was nervous but ready and willing to do what was necessary to protect this ship. "We are going to try and keep them at range so we can try and take them out but be prepared to go close quarters if our weapons jam or they start engaging us in hand to hand combat." He said as he loaded his shotgun and battle rifle. He strapped the shotgun to his back and hefted the battle rifle as he took point and led the rest of the team.
 
Figuring he would be nice, and waste a little less of their time, Ramiro typed in some quick commands into the simulation. Suddenly, a glowing arrow appeared on the wall next to the group and pointed towards that doors that had been blasted open. Underneath the arrow read:

"This is your only hint. Good luck."
 
Saki raised one eye brow. First she was hit how the guys who didn't survive PA round took command. Was it the same when she did in PA simulation? Well she wasn't one to argue about chain of command. Since there was practicaly none. They were all just mere santo hieis so it was up to the first who takes the task and this time it won't be Saki. Unless the guys dies that is.

"Ryoukai" acknowledged Saki other cadets orders. She quickly grabbed knife too and moved to the back few meters to provide cover. She was not sure why he sent soldier with flamethrower in the back but order is order. "Ready to move out." She said.
 
More ground fighting...I can't say I mind someone else taking over.

"Got it, falling in behind you."

Toshiaki raised his Xaser to his a ready position and got about a meter and a half behind Yoshiro, hopefully enough to make them both being taken out less while still being close enough for support.

"Let's go show them what the Star Army is made of!"
 
"Understood, lets go then" Keiko prepared her rifle and took position a little bit ahead of Saki.

If we get attacked from behind that'll leave Saki free of worries to use that flamethrower as much as she likes

The young soldier gulped down on her worries and took a deep breath as they moved out.
