RP: Fort Ready [Class 5] Back in Business

From the attack, both Saki's and Keiko's attacks hit, bringing the armor of the Ripper down to about 50%. The Rippers returned fire, aiming at Keiko to try and finish her off. Only the Ripper on the right hit, cleaning through most of the armor that Keiko had left. One more hit from either of them and she was a goner.
 
"Shimatai!" said Saki when Keiko got shot again, "Keiko, beclose behind me and cover yourles. Let the offense on me for while. You need to recharge you shield. Let you droned gather targeting data meanwhile. Toshiro get our fire support!" She ordered other. Order? Yeah she just did that right? But Saki didn't have time to think about that right now.

She though it is about time to use missiles. Was she close enought? She hoped to so. Even if she wasn't Ripper would have to focus on both her and her missiles to counter them withotu problems. Her sensors said he had only half of his shields left. THey had to take them down quickly. She still had 18 missiles so 3 from each launcher should be enough. At least one or two has to get through.

With that she targeted Ripper and fired six missiles at him, three from each launching tube. DSMM should be able to take his shields out.
 
"Fire support! Target the healthy ripper immediately!"

Damn we can't lose Keiko too!

Toshiaki fired once again at the Ripper hoping to finish it off. At the same time he sent an order to one of his drones to try and find the ship that had killed their classmates if it could.
 
Toshiaki's cries for help fell on deaf ears, as Aendri had closed himself out of the simulation while the others weren't paying attention and was already on his way planetside to meet his visitor. Saki's missiles scored a direct hit on the Ripper, all except for one hitting and most of those striking around the head and upper-body. The blast was enough to finish off that Ripper. Toshiaki had just enough time to swerve his shot over and hit the other Ripper, starting to do some damage to the shields.
 
"Keiko get ready I will stop moving in three, two, one now!" Saki said and stopped her acceleration whatsoever hoping it would confuse Ripper's aiming system. She was really happy about the Ripper exploding. Missiles should have only ripped his shield but they probably caused some kind of overload too. She was not one to dwell on it too much.

With her movement stop she took a second to carefully aim and send fulls burst against Ripper. She hoped to gain accuracy and better hit ratio with it. She was also sure that her shield and armour can take whatever RIpper is able to send at her in those few second she is going to be stable. She can't dodge any of his shots anyway, because Keiko would be hit then and she couldn't sacrifice comrade for her sakes.
 
"Still no fire support? Damn, well its three to one so we should win anyways guys."

Targeting the Ripper, Toshiaki let loose another volley.

Hopefully we can kill this fast and get the hell out of here.
 
Keiko in the meantime was still waiting for her shields to recharge. She didn't like at all having to hide behind her squadmate, letting her take the bullets for her, but if she wanted to survive there was nothing else she could do.

So, she obeyed Saki's orders and set her drone to gather as much information on the remaining Ripper as they could.

She also dedicated one of her drones to try to make sense of what had destroyed their previous leader.
 
Toshiaki's shots against the Ripper failed to hit, but were quickly made up for as Saki's shots all scored direct hits against the final Ripper, bringing down what appeared to be roughly half of its shields. The estimates from Keiko's drones, however, came back showing the shields to be around 60%. As the Ripper missed the hidden Keiko by several meters, Keiko's drones gathered and began to relay the discovered information.

"Tosh-san let's get that Ripper down!" Sak said and continued to fire.SHe held her shield in front of herself, her rifle rested upon aiming and shooting at Ripper. SHe still didn't move, figuring she needed accuracy more then anything now. To get the RIpper as fast as she can, it was also easier to protect Keiko this way. SHe figured her shields should take one or two bursts from Ripper.

"When the Ripper is donw, we will proceed to takce over behind Shoctroopers dead body." she said while firing.
 
"Good plan Saki-san, let's do this!"

Frustrated at another missed shot, Toshiaki calmed himself by taking a breath, then aiming and firing at the Ripper.
 
Oh, damn this isn't good at all

"Saki, Toshiaki, Command! We're facing a Plumeria-Class Medium Gunship. That's what eliminated the others and I got the feeling we're about to be it's next targets" Keiko said to her teammates.
 
"We have Ripper to worry about," Saki said. She no chance for conversation in middle of battle. She was also angry about herself for missing instuructros saying that this si going to be space battle and taking Daisy.

Plumeria would be problem, more like it will annihilate them anytime they want. "Tosh-san, if you drones will get the data of Plumeria charging weapons on us, use you FTL drives and get out of here." Saki said another order. Possibly her last one if Plumeria decides for another target practice.
 
The Plumeria continued to float in the distance, seeming to have no intention of shooting the small group. In fact, the main cannon wasn't even pointed at them, it was still pointing at the area that the two Power Armors had previously been. Meanwhile, Toshiaki's blast had scored a direct hit, wiping out most of the Ripper's shields, which Keiko finished off. Saki's shots missed, but only by a very small distance.
 
"Seems like the Plumeria isn't interested in us at the moment Saki-san, but I'll keep you updated. For now we've almost got this thing!"

Toshiaki began to allow himself to feel triumphant as he fired once more at this almost certain victory.

I just hope when I get out to the field the victories aren't this costly.
 
"Okay don't let you guard down!" Saki said as she covered Keiko, tkaing a second to aim and then firing at Ripper again.
 
Both Toshiaki's and Saki's shots scored direct hits on the Ripper. It didn't seem like it would be able to last much longer. The Ripper strafed to the side and tried to fire around Saki and hit Keiko. As the Ripper did this, it also started to accidentally rotate itself backwards. In a frantic panic to hit its target, the Ripper manage to fire its weapon, scraping the side of itself with its shot, and missing Keiko by several meters.
 
"Alright Keiko-san keep Saki between you and this ass and we'll have him down soon!"

Adjusting for the Ripper's movement, Toshiaki took aim and fired what he hoped might be his last volley for the fight.
 
Saki still didn't moved, she also didn'T speak now. Tosh-san already said what she had on mind. Also if she moved Keiko could have problem keeping Saki in between of herself and the ripper. Sakin insted took two seconds for careful aim and then fired a long burst.
 
"Understood" Keiko said, keeping position behind Saki.

Just a bit little more... A little more and this will be over

Thankfully the Plumeria hadn't made any threatening moves after obliterating their two allies. If they were lucky, really lucky, it would remain still and the three of them would make it out of this exercise.
 
Toshiaki's shot missed by several meters, but Saki's shot was dead on. The blast managed to cause some serious damage, and the armor was now showing some exposed components. The Ripper fired back, managing to hit a glancing blow on Keiko, causing a large dent in the side. In retaliation Keiko's shot hit, right in the chest, sending large chunks of power armor and blown-up-Mishu floating through space.
