The Mishu did not rely just on their eyes to sense their prey, and neither where they stupid. They easily tracked Ito through his actions in the dust, using their ability to see infra-red and continued to fire at him, confident that he would be hit. The Mishu also where more than capable of following a moving target with their eyes, and so despite Cio's acrobatics he did not manage to conceal himself all that well, given the Mishu's far superior sensors, and ability to see his body heat. It simply continued to fire at both of them, while rising above the canopy. Through watching Ito's movements they could pretty much ensure they wouldn't get hit with his rather inaccurate blasts, due to his inexperience with the weapon.
Ito dived out of the way of the monster attacks but only just in time leaving the back of his trouser badly ripped, realising that the monsters ability to predict his moves was improving. Changing his tactics Ito stopped dead in his tracks, took aim and pulled the trigger as fast as he could at the monsters firing blast after blast straight at the creature.
Cio saw the Mishu swing his gun at him and jumped high into the air, he pulled some Seelie army standard issue throwing stars out of his belt and expertly chucked them down so fast it was almost like it was raining Shurikens. Cio landed on a branch and jumped up again, spinning round and chucking his last ones and the Mishu's hand, hoping that at least one might knock the weapon out of its tentacle.
The Shuriken came down like rain, and much like rain they fell upon the Mishhuvurthyars head, rebounding off without dealing anything more than the slightest of superficial damage. In response it continued firing at Cio, harassing him with shots rather than trying to hit.
Ito's tactic was somewhat more effective, and one of his stray shots caught the Mishhuvurthyars body, burning it through to the core. Its body dropped to the floor.
Now the Mishhuvurthyars plans came to fruition. They had not been confident in their ability to capture the Seelie without killing them, and as of such these two had just been a distraction. The true threat was above the trees, a Mishhuvurthyar armed with a scalar weapon, on a area effect setting, who bathed the entire area with scalar radiation, knocking out their nervous systems, and rendering them unconcious.
