Alpha Team is floating in space roughly 150 million kilometers from the planet that Bravo Team just landed on.

so alpha team is like 3 planets away? Sorry just looked it up and 150 million km is about the same distance as the earth is from the sun, and I don't think you meant that...unless you did then my apologies for correcting you.
 
The number is correct. It is the size of the planet's hill sphere. Inside it, there is no FTL so Eucharis stayed on the edge and sent shuttles in.
 
The Hill Sphere for a planet of earth size is no where that large.

The Hill sphere for Earth thus extends out to about 1.5 million km (0.01 AU).

Edited the RP to update to 1.5 million km.

I'm actually quite curious myself, given how the posts are currently going, it's almost sounding like they are practically within several miles of one another...
 
I think everyone is within a few km of each other.
 
Well everything has been vague to say the least. Sune lead Alpha team to a point to the south of the shuttle crash site. Not sure where Beta team chose to land.

At this point it does not really matter. SNAFU is the word for the mission.
 
Hey guys just a suggestion, I know most of us are doing it but for those who aren't, but given how we are split between two teams, I'd suggest putting either Alpha Team or Beta Team at the start of your posts. That way there we don't get confused as the whose actions are whose.
 
Sorry about the lack of posts I have been dealing with Court and bad amounts of snow (at least for the region). So between the power outages and racing through the snow to the court house I been to exhausted to do much when I get home.

I hope I haven't screwed myself out of this rp.

Tomoe: Can we get a Helen post so Bravo team can do something besides sit there while Alpha team gets slaughtered?
