It seemed he had hit the necromancer, but had missed the strike to the undead creature. When he turned his eyes to look to see if the necromancer was down, he noticed the zombie and the other hulking blob of flesh coming his way, and he turned his shield to block their attacks and prevent them from flanking him, but left himself wide open to the skeleton, which struck at the opening with bravado.
"GRRRAAHHH!!!" He tumbled sideways, moving closer to the exit and hoping to close a distance between himself and assistance from his friends, and trying to position himself where he couldn't get flanked.
When he heard Talarin's question, he answered in a mad fit. "THA BONEY BASTERD GOT ME IN ME WOUND! I AIN' DANDY, TELL YE THAT!" Aurelus held his shield up and awaited an attack from any of the bastards. With Talarin right next to him to his left, and the wall to the right, he made sure to stop any advancement of the undead from behind him, and avoided getting ganged up. "C'MON! TRY THAT AGAIN YE MOTHER-GAPIN SKINNY BASTERD!"
He put his shield in front of himself, and raised his sword high above his head.
