Crew Lounge
“Yes Ma’am” Misato responded to the Shosho. She quickly ducked back down to the lounge and found a out of the way spot for her duffel. As she returned up stairs she was working on not looking confused for the casual attitude the Shosho projected. As she reached the top of the stairs she saw the buffet tables filled with burger fixings. It wasn’t till she saw the food that she realized that she was hungry. She forgot to grab morning chow in her excitement to get the last of her gear packed. Filling her plate with two burgers and fries she looked around at the few people here to see if she could find clues on where she should sit.
“Yes Ma’am” Misato responded to the Shosho. She quickly ducked back down to the lounge and found a out of the way spot for her duffel. As Ramiro finished his meal, he quickly cleaned up his seat. Washing the remaining food out of his mouth, he tipped the cup until it was bottom-up and gulped. When he had finished cleaning up after himself he wandered of to Takeyu's table. With a quick pass he said, "Blueberry has been fabricating some quantum mirror strips, just though I'd let you know." And with that he proceeded out of the wardroom.

Having finished assisting Victory, Akemi headed to the wardroom for lunch. Upon entering, she walked straight to Blueberry and Lime and bowed. "Good afternoon Chui, Jôtô Hei." After giving them a moment to return her greeting she went about putting her meal together. Before taking a seat she went over to Misato and inclined her head slightly. "Good afternoon Santô Hei."

Taking him asking her the question and the lack of assigned seating she sat do across from Takeyu, “Well sir to answer your question is simple, I requested a combat assignment, preferably on a ship that would take me out to see the fringes.” After taking a moment to eat a couple of fries she continued, “Not that I have been around long but as I figure, the best place to get combat experience is on a ship that has loads of combat experience of its own.” Just as she put a few more fries in her mouth Akemi walked up and spoke, so she swallowed fast risking choking and replied, “And to you Itto Hei.”
He nodded at what Ramiro said, then looked back at Misato, "I see," commented Takeyu as he loaded up his plate for lunch then sat back down.
"You picked a good ship then, the Eucharis sees plenty of combat and we are always given missions where combat seems to be assured. So you can count on seeing combat, just remember to keep your eyes on your enemy, listen to orders, and you'll be just fine, though if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask," the Shoi gave her a smile before he glanced to his side.
He spotted the Quantum Strip that Blueberry had brought in and carefully picked it up. "Amazing, how long before you can create the mirrors?" he asked curiously before turning his attention back to Misato and waiting to see if she had any questions.
"You picked a good ship then, the Eucharis sees plenty of combat and we are always given missions where combat seems to be assured. So you can count on seeing combat, just remember to keep your eyes on your enemy, listen to orders, and you'll be just fine, though if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask," the Shoi gave her a smile before he glanced to his side.

"Nah, go right ahead," commented Takeyu with a nod of the head toward Akemi. He then looked back at Misato, before taking a bit out of his burger and thinking about some of the other repairs that needed to be done to the ship - and his desire to have more technicians to help main engineering. I wonder how Kumiko is doing... same with Yaichiro for that matter... haven't heard from either of them...

"Thank you sir." Akemi sat down and placed her plate on the table. She then returned her gaze to Takeyu. "Now that I am finished helping Jalen Shosa, I will start working on repairing the ship with you. Though you have had very little time to assess whether it would be worthwhile to do so, I was wondering if you would mind formally taking me on as an apprentice and instructing me so that I can become a full-fledged technician and thus better serve the crew. If it is all right with you I humbly request that you do."
"Thank you sir." Akemi sat down and placed her plate on the table. She then returned her gaze to Takeyu. "Now that I am finished helping Jalen Shosa, I will start working on repairing the ship with you. Though you have had very little time to assess whether it would be worthwhile to do so, I was wondering if you would mind formally taking me on as an apprentice and instructing me so that I can become a full-fledged technician and thus better serve the crew. Reika had arrived in the wardroom somewhat earlier and had sat aside unobtrusively, eating her own meal whilst considering recent events and work related matters. Once her hamburger was devoured and her plate empty she stood and set aside the dirty dish for cleaning in the scullery, before returning to a place at the main table with the others.
Overhearing the repairs of the ship being discussed as she resumed her seat, Reika directed a query towards the Chief Engineer Takeyu. "How are all the repairs coming, Nayacesen-Shoi? The Eucharis' has taken a fair amount of damage lately, and frankly it's a wonder that she's still in more-or-less one piece..."
Reika had arrived in the wardroom somewhat earlier and had sat aside unobtrusively, eating her own meal whilst considering recent events and work related matters. "I would like to welcome Misato Suzume to the crew. She is one of our new combat arms soldiers. Also, Kurita Tomomi, our new IT specialist."
Blueberry told Takeyu, "We have more being made right now."

Sune considered grabbing a bit to eat, but since this body was about to be recycled decided against it.
"The information is there for your perusal Shôshô. I am going to pass on lunch since I have a date in Medical with our Doctor." He said with a slight bow, and exited.
He made his way through the Eucharis, as he considered what he was about to do. This was the last time he would see the ship with this body. Would it feel different? he wondered.

"Hakushi-Juni, I am ready for my upgrade. So let's get the mental backup accomplish. I have no desired changes to my appearance, except for the removal of my serial number tatoo." he said walking over to the mental back.

Misato paid close attention to Takeyu as he talked. “No Sir I have no questions at this time but I will bring any to you that I have as they come up.” With that she turned to her hamburger and started to work on slamming it down her gullet. True to Murphy ’s Law the Shosho made her welcoming of Misato and Kurita, as Misato took a big bite of the burger. So she just smiled and nodded.

"If you'd like to help out that'd be great, the more the merrier in my book, and learning the skills and such of being a technician will help you out as an infantrymen as well, so I have no problems taking you under my wing and teaching you," said Takeyu as he placed a hand on Akemi's shoulder before looking over at Blueberry and hearing what she said about the Quantom Mirrors.
"That's a relief, once you've gotten those mirrors made let me know please, we need to replace the one in the sensor dome but I was also informed that the mirrors along the dorsal and ventral areas need replacing as well."
Hearing heard Rieka's comment about the repairs, Takeyu brought up a mental list of stuff that had been repaired. "Most of the heavy damage to the ship is being worked on by KFY techs right now, the main cannon array is fully repaired and can be used. Still working on replacing the remainder of the turrets but last I checked those should be done very shortly if not already, sensor array on the other hand is going to take some time, but once those mirrors are ready," he looked at Blueberry and gave her a smile, "then repairs to the dome should be completed."
"Hopefully, we should have the majority of repairs done by the time the ship is set to fly."

If there is ever anything you believe I could help you with, whether it be a formal or informal task, please feel free to ask me for assistance. I would be glad to be called upon. I apologize for interrupting your meal."
Then she turned to Suzume. "Pleased to meet you, I am Koga Akemi. I arrived here just yesterday. I hope we get along well together."
She looked to Hanako. "Shôshô-sama, I humbly volunteer to formally be the technician in charge of maintaining the crew's power armor and related armaments."
Akemi nodded. "Thank you very much sir. I greatly appreciate it. I will do my best to avoid being burdensome. "I am not ma'am. I simply would like to take on an additional role to be more productive when we are not involved in combat. In addition to my infantry specialization training, I elected to thoroughly study power armor and I wish to put my knowledge of it to use. I will gladly help her find a spot."
