Wardroom

Ramiro entered the wardroom and paused in the doorway. With a sigh, he cracked his neck and back before proceeding the rest of the way into the room. He looked around the room, surprised that the rest of the crew hadn't made their way over yet. He walked over towards the kitchen and popped his head in to say a quick hello before he made his way over to the burrito bar. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully before putting together three of burritos that consisted almost entirely of meat before he took a seat, waiting for the others to arrive.

Medical

Natsumi frowned a little as she waited for her turn. The mass of cold damp hair on her head wasn't helping offset with the chill from not having anything on under her towel. She didn't feel like putting on scrubs either, she wanted one of her fresh clean uniforms.

"Hey Doc, mind if I go back to my cabin and get dressed?" she asked Citrine as the medic called Takeyu for his exam. "Anyways, I think the Mishhu doc patched up my leg pretty good" she added, poking the still sensitive spot where she had been shot in the leg while down on the planet.

As Takeyu waited to be seen, he stretched his arms out for a moment before he noticed Ramiro step in and smiled. "Hey Ramiro," he said and walked over to his fellow soldier and placed a hand on the mans shoulder.

But before he could say anything more he heard the Doc say his name and looked over. "Ahhh, so it is," he smiled and walked over to her. "Haven't seen you before, what's your name?" he asked out of curiousity.

Medical Bay

Sienna twisted her pursed lips sideways as she examined the spray bottle of crimson liquid that Citrine handed to her. Clean bill of health, that was good news, but she wasn't expecting anything different. Her throat was a little scratchy from the ordeal planetside, but hardly worth treating with medicine right now. And if it numbed her taste buds, she certainly wasn't about to use it now. The smell of cooking meat now wafting in was making her hungrier than she already was.

As Citrine pulled the screen closed, she hopped down off the examining table and tossed the bottle down on one of the cabinets. She stared blankly at the cherry blossoms printed on the impossibly small looking bodysuit lying folded there next to where she had been sitting. Chewing lightly on her tongue, she just smirked at no one and shook her head. It was that or the scrubs, and she wasn't sure the paper gown would survive very long unless she spent the next several hours, or days, moving as little as possible.

"Okay, here we go," she breathed quietly with a sigh, and slipped off the scrubs. If she wasn't cold before, she was freezing now. She shivered as the air touched her bare skin all over, and quickly she pulled on the underwear. For a brief moment she forgot about her discomfort as she did so. She'd never even seen silk up close, much less come in contact with it. The sensation was almost as rapturous as the hot shower.

Then it came time to put on the suit. Unfolding it and opening it up before her, her jaw slackened as she realized just how tiny it looked even suspended in front of her, completely unfolded. She wasn't a big girl at all, actually rather slender for her height, but this thing was tiny. She wasn't sure that she'd even be able to get her legs in, much less her whole body.

Starting with her right foot, she opened up one of the legs and slid her pointed toe inside. The material was just as comfortable and soothing as the underwear, though it felt somewhat different. Stronger, more durable, and something just different. Her foot slid down to the bottom with little effort, but pulling it up her leg took some effort. Then she repeated the process with the left. This proved even harder, as the fabric seemed to be fighting itself with one leg in and the other out. Grunting, she strained to work her other leg inside, hopping around on one foot in a silly fashion until she ultimately wound up stumbling and crashing into the examination table. The metal drawers and their contents within rattled around momentarily following the loud bang.

"Son of a--" Sienna spat quietly, still struggling to get the blasted suit on. At last she got her left leg inside, then took a moment to calm herself. Finally she reached down and pulled the garment over her shoulders. She felt like she was trying to reload a giant crossbow that was powered by rubber bands as thick as her waist, while at the same time tightening her pelvic muscles to ward off the sensation that she was being vertically cut in half from below. "These... nngh... people wear these... urgh...... every day?" she muttered under her breath between grunts. After tugging and straining for a few seconds, she got her arms through the sleeves and hooked it over her shoulders.

Running up the front of the garment was the tiniest, most sophisticated looking zipper she'd ever seen. She looked for some clue on how to operate it, then opted to simply push her finger up from the bottom. She was astonished that it worked, and couldn't help grin a little when she watched as it almost appeared that the fabric simply wove itself together as her fingertip trailed along up her torso. Finally dressed, she rolled her shoulders and took a few steps, testing out the feel of her temporary clothing. She had to admit, after as troublesome as it was to squeeze into it, the suit was surprisingly comfortable. It tugged a little on her in places when she walked, giving her a weird sensation she couldn't describe, and the way it pressed her breasts back into her ribs was a little strange, but she shrugged her facial expression when she discovered it was otherwise comfortable.

However, it didn't make up for the fact that she now felt more exposed than ever; the fabric clung firmly to her skin, hugging every single curve, vein, joint, and toenail on her body. She didn't have any shoes either, save her boots, and they were clunky and utilitarian compared to this, not to mention unavailable to her as they were being decontaminated, so she felt like she was wearing footie pajamas. And this cherry blossom print! She'd never felt so ridiculous in her life.

A glimpse at herself in the semireflective floor just confirmed it, making her face flush bright red. This suit hid nothing. Comfort notwithstanding, she felt like she may as well have just shrugged off the very idea of wearing clothes at all and paraded around the ship au naturale.

Her stomach grumbled again. And there were no doubt a few more crew members waiting to get checked out. She closed her eyes, drawing a long breath through her nose, reminding herself once again that she'd bargained for a ride, and hadn't specified anything else. There were far worse things to be faced with than a hot shower and a hot meal. Clearing her throat, she looked down at her reflection in the floor, crudely combing her hair with her fingers so that it laid over to the side, feathering it up the best she could, and drew her shoulders back to open the privacy curtain.

Medical

Citrine resisted the urge to ask if Sienna was okay, or to look in on her when she heard the commotion from the examination room. If she needs my help she will ask, no sense embarrassing her. she thought.

She looked at Natsumi, and looked at the data the Sune had uploaded. Citrine saw what Sune had told her on the Firebird about crew members wanting to leave medical as quickly as possible. "Fine. But if you start having any issues, you come back to medical."

She turned her direction back to the officer, she resisted the urge to bow, but she was in medical it was her domain and in the performance of her duties bowing was not required. "Hello Taii, I am Citrine-Santô Hei, from the YSS Firebird. Ketsurui-Shôshô requested my assistance. You were on HX-21, so you just need a quick vital check." So this is another one of the Chusa's friends. she thought.

She did a quick examination, reflexes, pulse, respiration. She did a visual check of ear, eyes nose and throat.

"Everything looks completely normal sir. You are clear to return to duty." she said with a warm smile.

Her eyes shifted briefly from Takeyu to Sune as he was coming out of the tube. Her smile broadened a bit, watching her first commander step out of the tube and look around.

Turning her eyes back to Takeyu she recalled something that Sune had shared with the crew. "So how are your sisters Taii?" she asked.

-----------
Sune had pulled in the scrubs after he had rinsed and dried off in the tube. He stepped out and took note that most of the crew had been processed. He smiled at Citrine from inside the tube, She is good, a credit to her profession.

Sune gave his repaired arm a few experimental moves. It was good to be able to move it without pain. He looked over at Sienna wearing a very attention getting body suit. Where did that come from? I can only imagine her reaction when she saw it, she does not seem the floral pattern type to me.

"I see they found something for you to wear Sienna. Once Citrine is finished in here, she can escort you to the Wardroom for Dinner." he said with a grin.

He walked over to Takeyu and Citrine. He put a hand on his friends shoulder. "I see you have met the Firebird's medic my friend. She was top in her medical class. I am going to my cabin to put on a clean uniform, I will see you in the Wardroom."

He then made his way to the exit.

Conrad slowly got up. He was fully functional again. Not willing to provoke anything, he refrained from leaping up into the ear. He nodded his head for Citrine. She had done a fine job.

''Thank you miss. I'll be off now...''

Conrad pulled on the scrubs. And hated them from moment one. What a dingy little thing this was. Way too short for him as well, only barely functional. Still a little wobbly on his feet, he looked around the Medical Bay.

While he conjured up a smile to see his entire team up and running again, he was kind of stunned by looking at Sienna. He did not know whether to laugh or to feel sorry for her. He was very glad to see she was here, on the ship. Guess the mission wasn't that much of a failure at all.

''So...us hopping to that damn mudhole and back, was just to pick a flower? You ok, Rose err...Sienna?''

It was one of his bad jokes, but he thought it was better to say that then say nothing. She'd adapt soon enough. If he hadn't been as big as he was, she could have fit into his kimono, the one he got a small while ago as a present. He'd have to tend to that later, she could handle herself for now.

Slowly, Conrad moved to go back to his cabin and dress in a Conrad-sized working outfit. Truth be told, he wanted to do more things then that, but he had to move as he wished to claim the end of the wardroom table again; he preferred more space than one seating..

Sienna felt her face get even hotter at Sune's comment, and much to her chagrin she couldn't stop herself from standing at an angle that hid the best view of her body from the rest of the room. "Somethin' to wear, huh," she said flatly. "I feel like I've been tie-dyed."

She was further agitated by his mention of having to wait to be escorted to the wardroom for dinner. Her stomach was churning so loudly now that she could smell what was being cooked that she felt like everyone in the room could hear it; that, plus the fact that she didn't want to stand around in a skin-gripping bodystocking for a captive audience any longer than she had to.

Moving over to the most secluded corner she could find in the medical bay, she crossed her arms to hide her breasts and leaned against the wall, inconspicuously pulling a chair in front of her legs and hips. Her hair stood up on the back of her neck for a brief moment when she saw Conrad's hulking frame on his feet. Sune or Egil hadn't told him what she'd done on the shuttle, had they?

His smart-alecky joke dismissed the thought, or at least the idea that he might be cross with her for wanting to kill him. The dull apprehension in the pit of her stomach gave way to mild indignation, but she didn't give any outward sign of it. Rather, she just gave him a nonplussed look and raised her eyebrows. "Yeah, a poisonous one with thorns," she shot back evenly. Her eyes flitted down to the giant's waist and thighs, noting the scrubs that he wore were obviously not designed for someone of his stature. A smug smirk pulled up one corner of her lips as she looked back up at him from under her brow. "I would've expected someone eight feet tall to need a longer dress to stay decent."

''Yeah, we're both dressed up for the occassion aren't we. 'Cept you got rose colored cheeks to accentuate the whole. I got nothin' to add to my costume.''

Conrad looked at Sienna. He was puzzled by all of it. He looked most at her facial expression, which showed she wasn't at all comfy with this. That one startled moment was even weirder to him. Was he that scary, even to people he liked as far as he knew them?

''Seems to me this couldn't have been yours. Way too not-brown and not-sand. I'm gonna grab some clothes for me and our other large guest. Shall I see if I can get you something? One of my jackets would be more suited as a dress then this.''

Conrad thought she wouldn't feel any better like this. A change of subject wasn't a bad idea. As he almost walked out the door, he asked her...

''So...I was gone for a long time. Anything happen? I get the feeling Egil got me to the shuttle, but did anything happen while I was on it? I mean, next to the fact that Gravedigger tried to kill us....''

Conrad had no memory of it, neither of the fact that Sienna was overly cautious of him and all the things she suggested on the shuttle.

Embolded by the fact that her veiled insult on the giant's manhood had gone completely over his head (so to speak), Sienna held her smirk as she tilted her head back up to look squarely back on him. She shrugged and shook her head. "Natsumi relieved your tenacious friend of his brains at point-blank range before he could even react, evidently," she said. "After she skipped the shuttle like a rock across the ground, that is. Let's see what else," she mused in mock thought. "Oh, and I nearly choked to death on the air when the rear containment field went down with the door open. Glad to see your mask held out." She shifted again, trying in vain to hide what her suit simply wouldn't. "I'd'a known the ride out would be so rough, I'd've thought twice about jumping aboard with y'all."

She paused for a moment, and for a fleeting moment, her cold exterior softened ever so slightly. "Glad to see they got that worm out of ya," she added.

Medical Lab

Speaking of manhood... "Oh!" Victory gasped.

Without warning, the ID-SOL they'd picked up on HX-21 had tossed his towel aside and was giving most of the medical lab the full monty. As Six-Four put on the green silk boxers that Victory had brought him, she was exposed to an eye level eyeful of the giant's generous genitals. The superhuman was built like an action figure and hung like a motorcycle muffler.

"Rufus Sydney style!" the ID-SOL grinned as he strutted out into the passageway following behind Conrad. "Hey man, you got a spare T-shirt and pants? he asked.

Wardroom

Hanako entered the wardroom, followed by Blackberry and Cherry, who would be going on shift after dinner. She gave them and the others present a respectful nod before getting a glass of milk.

Using her glass to mark it, she claimed a seat at the end of the table close to the railing and the seat next to her for her first officer, Sune, and then went to assemble a cilantro-heavy chicken burrito before returning to her seat to sit. As she placed her plate down, the ship rumbled and the stars turned to shimmering teal behind her in the wardroom window.

Eucharis was on the move again.

Medical

"Thanks, Doc!" Natsumi said as Citrine released her. She turned to exit, but lingered a moment, observing the antics of the ID-SOL with some amusement and noting that Sienna did not look comfortable at all in the skin tight flowery jumpsuit she had been provided. Natsumi didn't blame her, it left less to the imagination than the towel she currently had wrapped around herself.

"Sienna, I think I have some clothes that you can borrow until yours are returned" she said, walking over to where Sienna and Conrad were talking. She sized up the woman, she was taller than her, but one of her skirts and a comfy sweater or top she had might work for their guest and make her more comfortable than what she was in.

"I can keep an eye on her Doc, no need to keep her here waiting here while you're still working" Natsumi said to Citrine. "I'm sure you are pretty hungry anyways" Natsumi smiled at Sienna. She could imagine the smell of good food already as she thought about what was waiting for them.

''Hightower, Conrad. Santo Hei. You must be X-Ray. Pleasure to meet you.''

Conrad held out a hand, wanting to shake the man's hand. He didn't care a lot what the man was wearing, and his behaviour was amusing enough.

''I'm almost en route to my room to see what I can provide for you. I'll have to have dinner and a hot shower afterwards. I assume you came in with the other team, so I must have missed this...how'd you end up here?''

Conrad had to admit he liked talking to someone that stood as tall as he did. Not that length was any indication of character of behaviour, and it was nothing to measure someone by, but it was an amusing thought to say the least.

Medical Lab

Citrine looked around the Medical Lab, all of the crew who needed to be attended to had been. She set about to cleaning up the area. It did not take her very long. She put the automated units into self cleaning mode, picked up the the various items she had used and placed them on one counter, later she would return to sterilize them and put them back into their respective places. After washing her hands and securing the cabinets she walked to the doorway.

She launched herself into the zero g passageway. Using her anti-grav ability, she propelled herself through the corridor, then ascended up one deck and entered the lounge. She paused to admire the lounge which was a feature the Firebird did not have. The smell of food wafting down the stairs attracted her attention. She walked up the stairs and looked at the Eucharis' wardroom. I have eaten in restaurants smaller than this. she thought taking in the decor and the shear size of the room.

Wardroom
As she surveyed the room she spotted the distinctive hair color of Hanako. She is here... well of course she is here... it is her ship... but she is already in the room. Citrine took a moment to compose herself. This was the Chusa's good friend, a person he cared deeply for. She walked over to the table, stopped several feet from Hanako gave a bow because it felt appropriate, after all she was approaching a legend.

"K.. k.. ketsurui-Shôshô, all of your crew have been treated and or cleared for duty. The Medical Lab has been cleaned and secured." her nervousness making her slightly tongue tied but she completed her report without incident.

Cabin One
Once in his cabin Sune took his ICP out and placed it on his desk. He started dictating a letter to Emiko while he proceeded to get dressed. He tried to recall the last time the ship was on Condition 4. It has been several years. It felt strange knowing that for once they were not anticipating a possibly deadly attack being launched on them.

He put on a clean Type 35 uniform, passing on wearing his preferred Type 30 Duty Uniform. I should probably pack those up and put them in storage. he thought.

As he put on the last items for his uniform, he reached into his locker and withdrew a Type 27 NSP. It was his personal one, but having lost his issue one and not having had time to replace it. He put the 27 in his holster.

He concluded his letter, and requested that Charisma transmit it during the next scheduled data transfer across PANTHEON.

Closing the lockers, and securing them, he exited his room. He walked into the lounge. He quickly walked up the stairs and looked around.

Wardroom
He had arrived just in time to see Citrine reporting to Hanako. He walked past the blonde Nekovalkyrja and approached the buffet bar.

Sune got a plate and put two tortillas on it and made himself a pair of beef burritos, with sour cream, beans and lettuce. He got a glass of ice tea and headed back to the table.

Misato walked out of the medbay after getting checked up by the med table. She wasn't sure what to do, she was hungry but she felt like everyone was going to accuse her of ditching out of the main mission and wasn't there to support them. She thought about just heading to her bunk and calling it a night, when she saw Mitsuko waiting for her outside of medical.

"Hey how are you?," She looked up and down the passage way, "you weren't waiting for me were you?"

Outside Medical

Mitsuko smiled when she spotted her roommate, moving away from the wall she had been leaning against to join her. "Of course I'm waiting for you, Suzume-chan. I wanted to hear more about the cargo you discovered. Although I guess the captain has already abandoned it..." She began to move in the direction of the Wardroom, and dinner, hoping the other Neko would follow.

"...I hope our two guests won't be staying for too long. Strange that both teams picked somebody up. Um...do you really think it's safe to have that big guy you found wandering around the ship?"

"I wouldn't worry about him, I know he is big and scary. But face it I'm scarier." Misato smirked and stuck her tongue out at her roommate, "Anywho, there was a lot of cool stuff on that planet, there was a bicycle that had a little motor that drove it, I wanted to bring it back but the Taii said we didn't have room to bring it back with us. you know since I don't have room for my cycle, that would have been fun when we have leave."

She started to walk towards the wardroom, "What do you know of the civilian cargo hauler systems?"

Outside Wardroom

Mitsuko giggled as Misato joked like that. "So you'll protect me?" She smirked, slowing down as they neared the entrance. "Maybe we'll get to make another sweep later...hmm?" She titled her head, considering the question. "I haven't interacted with them much, but I suspect I would know a good deal about any that were Yamataian. They should be similar enough to ours. Why?"

She was happy to head in for dinner, licking her lips at the thought. Murakami hoped there wouldn't be any awkward conversations this time, though. "Oh, I just remembered...I put a new uniform on your bunk, Suzume-chan. We all got one." She grinned. "I have a feeling you'll like it."

Outside Wardroom
"Of Coarse, I have no other job in life more important." Misato hoped that wasn't too straight forward. She got to thinking about Mitsuko's other question. "Cause I'm wondering if I got permission from the Sho'sho' I could contract a cargo hauler to pick up that stuff and move it to my warehouse."

She lead the way into the wardroom and started making herself up a few burritos. "I bet it will be interesting, are you modeling the new look?"

Wardroom

"I know you're big and tough, but you'd probably need your armor to deal with that guy. I don't think the Shosho would let you wear it to dinner, though." She giggled. "The new uniform isn't something I'd want to wear to dinner either."

Mitsuko began to make some rather overstuffed burritos herself, as she considered the question. "Can you afford something like that, Suzume-chan? Do you think you'd make enough back by selling that stuff? I would think, since you found it while on duty, it would be Star Army property actually. If the captain decides to claim it, in the end."

Wardroom

Bors was done with his meal by the time most of the crew had trickled in. Reclining back a bit in his chair he sipped on his drink eavesdropping a bit on the conversations going on around the room to figure out what happened on the other planet.
