RP: Yome Ismâopate [Mission 2.0] Spirits in the dark

Deck 1

Syaboa was shocked for a second then nodded "yes together is always better." She grinned and brought her rifle up firing a quick burst at the target then hiding with Memi "this may be a scared survivor, so we will wound not kill, if they are an enemy we will interrigate."

Syaboa looked at Memi "understand, no shoots to kill" her voice sounded strict as she moved to fire at the person then come back to hide.

La'tâ gave a soft nod in response to Tota. "That is because before the bone was just being mended, right now I am regrowing muscles and nerves and having them reattached. You're doing a good job though, staying still." She reached over and gave him another pat on the head and continued her work, still being careful. "So Tota, what do you want to be when you grow up?"

Remembering the request for status report, Murr paused in her pacing and responded, >"My team and additions are doing ok. La'ta treating wounded Baqli. No hostilities encountered yet."< Came Mech Default voice from Murr.

While in the infirmary, it looked like Murr became a statue for several noticeable minutes without any sound coming from her as she used direct link through cybernetics, radio to Toidorno. Her weapon raised and pointed at the doorway, ready to fire at anyone she didn't subconsciously recognize as her conscious part was focused on sending the remembered request for the status report.

Toidorno monitored the comms and with the jamming gone could see the status of the Dahomes.

He activated the comm on his Dahome. "Hostiles encountered Deck 1 forward. Syaboa's been hit. Miali make your way to Deck 1 and move foward. Hewid, get the lighting and computer back online.

Tota looked at La'tâ and replied in a blink, "I want to be a Tin-Ta'a of a ship. Just like my pialoa."

Sogi watched Murr, but kept her position. She could tell that she was alert and ready to do menace to any threat.

Deck 1

The armored figure ducked back into the hallway.

Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ finally remembered that her helmet was not displaying her face, and set it to do so. "We have a very respectable and grand Tin-Ta'a back at the ship, maybe he can give you some advice on how you can become one too." She started working on the final procedure's on closing up the boy's wound.

She had heard the message over the comm system from Toidorno, but she did not want to respond carelessly and make the children anymore afraid than they were, instead she just gave Murr a knowing glance, knowing she'll be ready.

Tota listened to La'tâ and shook his head, "That is a generous offer, but I do not want to be a Tin-To'a on a fighting ship. I want to be on a Searcher class someday. I prefer to explore new planets, and learn about the things there. Fighting just leads to people dying. Like my pialoi. I saw the others shoot her. A shot through the heart... since she is not here she did not make it."

Engineering

Hewid routed more power to the life support systems. The ceiling lights start switching on from aft to front. He pulled out a section of network cable. Rather than trying to splice the damaged wiring. He disconnected the main connection and attached the new cable. He then took the other end over to a junction. He opened it and disconnected the network cable at the other end. He connected the cable and watched as the junction indicators started to flicker.

"Thank you. I am Tasi, the brain of the Âmuso Ibâka. There are two hostiles still on board." came from the speakers above Hewid. Hewid activated his armor's comm system. "Tin-To'a, the brain is online and reports that we have two hostiles still onboard."

Deck 1

Memi could feel those hairs on the back of his neck rise, they were the same ones that did before he snapped and 'attacked' ripper. Palms sweaty he leaned out again and fired another burst. "I'm not sure about not shooting to kill... I barely am good enough to shoot to hit." he growled again and leaned out for another burst.

"I have to get to the ship's main brain. Have to pull the records... Any way we can break this stalemate?"

Flitter Bay

Miali heard the confirmation from Toidorno, and it was as she feared. "Roger that, Tin-To'a. On my way!" responded the Touro as she hit the switch to close her shielded visor and locked down the shuttle tight until it was time to leave. The pilot's seat would have to wait -- someone was in trouble and she was the only one who was not on post available to reinforce them. Luckily, getting up above would be easy, as the Flitter Bay spanned both decks due to its size and she knew a much faster way up than walking. She checked the power levels on her Dahome once and tightened the grip on her rifle with one hand and in another moment she fired up the thrusters to go into an accelerated jump straight upwards! She aimed in a low arc reaching out to grab the side of one of the stairways for a brief moment, before one more burst was applied, pinging her up and diagonally off of it to land with a graceful thunk on the landing of the doorway leading to Deck 1.

The pilot hit the panel with the front of her rifle, cycling the door open with a whoosh and she readied for what could be waiting on the other side, the lights still struggling to flicker on. Her muscles tensed beneath the suit and she growled a little at the thought of the saboteur who made so much trouble now sniping at her fellow poku. She wasn't going to have any of that... the teenager also wasn't above hurling some good old fashioned insults to draw out her opposition. She learned a lot being around drunken revelers after all. So Miali yelled into the dim hallway beyond, "Kata ti degonte mâew gitabu taviibu dâeltvit ne amydi'alamin?" <<so where's the cowardly plant lover who screws with animals?>>

Murr also heard the report that Memi and Syaboa was under attack and trapped. She wanted so badly to respond, yet she had her responsibilities in providing protection for La'ta and now two more. When she moved, it was more precise and her height increased as she walked on the forward part of her feet to minimize the area of impact and sound created with each step. Making her movements more stealthy and more predatory graceful.

She glanced around the room to see where everyone was located at. Seeing Sogi watching her, she motioned for Sogi to get closer to La'ta and under the protection of cover in an authoritive manner. She kept herself to the side of the open doorway that was hard for anyone in the corridor to immediately spot her. She returned La'ta's look with a nod and head tilt towards Sogi.

She wished that La'ta would hurry it up and get the other baqli under the protection of cover as they was most likely be spotted first. The Dahome was about to be battle tested under actual hostile fire. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

Deck 1

"You run and sort it out, I will deal with this person, while I attack run to the main brain please" she moved out of the cover to fire and keep the guy behind cover then went back into cover "next time I fire, you run okay, the person wont notice, so just run, hopefully there aren't more" she gulped and looked at him moving out of cover and firing at where the person was in cover then she pulled out Memi and pushed him behind her and started to fire again.

Sogi noticed the changes in Murr's stature. She backed away from the doorway and took a position by the Healer's desk.

Under La'tâ's care the bleeding from the wound was stopped. She was able to treat the worst of Tota's injury using the radiant healing system. He would need more treatments but for now the wound was no longer life threatening. She would need to bandage it to protect the work she had done, but otherwise the baqli would be able to move about as long he did not get too energetic.

Murr's Dahome detected a presence to her left a fraction of a second before a hail of high speed projectiles sprayed the entrance to the medical area and Murr.

Miali would hear the exchange of fire ringing through the upper deck. Her suit calculating where the hostile was by sound.

Deck 1

Looking at Syaoba dumbfounded, Memi sighed. he wanted to argue but when she started firing again He took off across the corridor to the next door frame. Sliding behind cover he turned and took up and over watch. "I got you covered..." he let off a burst of weapons fire towards the unknown assailant. "Move up to flank him."

Wapoin Rou'sa / Deck 2 Corridor

Murr felt the impacts of the high speed projectiles ricocheting off her armor to thud into nearby tables, shelving and equipment. With a split second glance at the HUD display and direction from which the projectile came from. She took her time in aiming of her weapon as there was a very little opening through the doorway at her angle from it.

HUD images and data wobbled and flickered from the grazing impacts of the projectile against the Dahome she was wearing.

She moved quickly as she fired a three round burst at the Attacker before the Attacker's weapons shots echoes died away down the corridor. In full charge, she burst from the Wapoin Rou'sa into the corridor. Sending another lethal spray of aimed projectiles (hopefully) at the now exposed enemy.

Deck 1, Nyora'a Ruo'sa

There was a brief pause as Miali's usually rather inflaming taunts received only silence in response, as the target was likely not in vocal range at least. She was frankly a little disappointed, though, as her rising adrenaline needed an outlet. Thankfully, the armored suit did pick up the reports of gunfire and the general direction from which it came. It was definitely both hostile and friendly exchanging shots, so that was a good sign that her compatriots were still in fighting shape and somewhere near the crew quarters.

She swiftly made her way forward through the upper deck of the engineering section that was connected to the flitter bay, moving from machine to machine with weapon drawn. Her Dahome continued attempting to narrow down the origin for the hostile and friendlies to determine the best path to take from there into the rooms beyond.

Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ shut down the machines once Tota's wound was in a suitable condition and then began to bandage him. In the middle of bandaging him she heard the sound of weapons fire and looked back at Murr seeing her predicament. "Tota, Sogi, stay out of sight of the door and within the room." She quickly finished the bandaging and grabbed her rifle, moving over to Murr, looking at the weapons fire to see what direction it was coming from before she approached so she could fire once she was in the doorway.

Tota and Sogi dashed for the Isolation bay and let the door close and seal behind them. The spray of fire had ricocheted in the medical lab caused little damage.

Murr's first volley made two distinctly different sounds. Two of the rounds missed the target and struck the walls of the hallway. But the third struck a different surface. When she entered the hallway her shots were met by a metal shield making deep rents in it. Whomever was attacking them, they were wearing something clearly not Clan built. It was at least seven feet tall. One arm had a heavy coil gun, and the other looked to fire some sort of missile. It shot one into the medical center. When it struck the wall of the medical center that separated the Isolation bay, and detonated. A ball of fire erupted and filled the Medical lab. The fire suppression system activated and dispensed fire killing gas to contend with the fire.

La'tâ briefly found herself engulfed in flames, her dahome however protected her from the heat and adjusted its environmental systems to keep her cool. The flames swiftly died out leaving the work station a charred ruin.

Deck 1

Memi and Syaboa volleys kept the unknown hostile from emerging from the port side corridor. The ricochets from their shots damaged the wall and the lighting panel. The overhead lighting flickered as alternating lamps came on and off. They did have the benefit of hearing the adversary yell "kefqâ".'

Miali would find that the Engineering area was empty except for Hewid down below. She opened the starboard door she could see Memi and La'tâ from their vantage point. Her Dahome meanwhile started flashing a warning to her left.

Corridor : Deck two

Murr took in what see was seeing in a glance as she was fully exposed. She kept her momentum up, for her safety was to keep moving and moving fast. She brought her tail laser up over her shoulder and fired at coil gun, hoping to get the laser down the barrel of the weapon.. The miracle shot... to destroy the weapon from the inside out as she switched her weapon to full auto and sprayed the center mass of the torso and work her way up the body to the head.

Murr wished like hell she could talk in moments like this. She'd be screaming for any one free to come and assist her. She had to keep the fight in the hallway and she didn't know where the missile hit. Just glad it missed her. Praying to the nine deities that La'ta and two Baqli were safe. That what mattered for the moment as she was willing to give them time to get to safety by her suicidal assault.

On a subconscious level where her training was at, she turned on the transmitter and video camera, sending visuals on open channel to all that was within range of her Dahome radio range, as priority to be viewed for intell purpose and to act upon.

Murr slammed into the seven foot wall of enemy armor as her weapon expired the last of the rounds in the magazine into the behemoth she just crashed into at full speed the short distance allowed her to gain....

Deck 1, near Nyora'a Ruo'sa

The pilot was relieved to see Sar Memi and his escort were some length down the hall, pinned down by the enemy that was on the port side. She did not want to vocalize this time around, however -- she may actually have the element of surprise on her side if her gut and the Dahome's computers were accurate about where the foe was hiding. Instead, she opted to flash the headlamps of her armor suit in a certain pattern in the direction of Memi and Syaboa, in order to at least alert their HUD displays (if not they themselves) visually of her position and that it was a friendly incoming.

Without further ado, the performer proceeded to head down the narrow corridor that existed between engineering and the brain room towards the port side. She veered to the right, hugging the wall of the bridge area and racing in the direction of the Siama Ruo'sa and the stateroom. Her enemy better say a prayer now, thought Miali to herself, because in just a moment she would make a final hard turn at full momentum and slide right into them from behind with her metallic claws bared, tail laser primed, and her rifle hot.

With the sound of the curse echoing with-in his ears. Memi fired burst after burst. Though he nearly shot Miali as she flashed the light at him. Though once he realized what she was doing he continued the bursts.

Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ had planned to rush ahead and assist Murr as quickly as possible but as the missile rushed past and soon exploded into a ball of flame the medic had to take a moment of pause. She turned her head quickly to look back at the collision zone, it had just crashed into the wall separating the isolation room from the rest of the med bay, which is where the two baqli went. Her suit scanned quickly for life signs as she did a check with her eyes as well, wanting to make sure they were not injured.

However she could not stay for long if she did not help Murr then they would all be taken out so she forced herself forward after her check, denying her instincts and going to wards the fight. One missile was enough for her to realize just how dangerous those things were and decide that another one did not need to be fired. She prioritized identifying where they were coming from and would focus her fire on that part of the suit hopefully causing an explosion but at least she could stop a second one from coming this way.
