Flitter Bay

A check of the damaged craft quickly confirmed that there was an AHCM in the craft. So that solved locating one.

Deck 2 Lekaokaur

Sogi cocked her head at hearing the mechanical voice. "Are you a person or a machine? Your voice sounds like a machine." she said.

Across the intercom came Toidorno's voice. "Sar Hewid has gained access to Engineering. I will advise him to route full power to medical. Internal sensors are still offline. But while I think it unlikely that the saboteur would stay behind. Stay vigilant. It's entirely likely that the people who he was working for may have left him to die aboard.

Nyora'a Ruo'sa

With life support responding and the air starting to warm up Hewid opened his Dahome's face panel. He smiled as he surveyed his progress. When the Tin-To'a called down and requested a priority power direct. He went to the distribution panel and routed full power to Medical.

Flitter Bay

Miali was relieved that the unit in the damaged flitter seemed operational. As eager as she was to try to yank it out that very moment, she needed some assistance to make sure it was handled safely. Remembering the door to Engineering that was left open, the pilot slung her rifle and stalked back over and poked half of her Dahome clad body out of the portal to see how Hewid was doing. She noticed by the readings her suit was giving that the environmental conditions had vastly improved while she had been distracted with the flitter work.

"Hey, Sar, loving what you've done with the place..." began Miali with a quick salute and a smile, "I wanted to let you know we have an issue in the Flitter Bay. One of the Vona'oâ which seems to be intact has also been sabotaged! Its AHCM is missing and without it the Âmanus Tyokanorjopa reactor cannot be started. The storage racks came up empty too." The Touro then twirled a finger back into the door behind her. "A second craft is also docked, but it looks to be heavily damaged from a firefight and an emergency manual landing and is no longer spaceworthy. However, it DOES have a functioning, installed AHCM which could be cannibalized for use in the reserve flitter..."

The Tuoro opened her visor slowly to let some of the external air in, the image of her violet eyes and round face meeting his for the first time as she took a breath. "Ahhhh... so any chance a certain smart Bajao'a could help me see if we can get it swapped over? I would probably blow something up if I did it myself."

Syaboa walked into the room then closed the door behind her "well then, I guess I will look around and see if there may be something else around that would help use other than that data" she started to search the room hoping there may be something useful that they could use.

La'tâ carried Tota in her arms in front of her as she walked, following after Murr's lead. At first she had wanted to carry the boy on her back, but it was much easier to protect him and monitor his condition like this. She smiled at hearing Toidorno's reply to Murr's message, though her smile was not conveyed as she had forgotten to set the visor on the helmet to transparent. "Tota, did you hear that? We will receive full power in medical, we'll be able to patch you right up." Though her face was hidden, she was letting her emotions flow through her voice, making her expressions a little easier to picture.

When they arrived at the infirmary she paused at the door and looked to Murr "Can you quickly go in there and clean things up? You know what we saw last time...I'll watch the baqli out here."

Kynlumu'a Cabin

Pausing for a moment, Memi stared at his escort. He wasn't sure about her and wasn't sure she was a combat oriented person. "Grab these journals and those scrolls and put them into this bag," He pulled his satchel off and tossed it to her, "I'll get the data pulled from here then we need to head to the computer core..." He shivered thinking about moving again through those darkened hunted passageways.

Turning back to the computer station he sat down and checked the progress of the info dump. Seeing that it was nearing complete he checked to make sure there weren't any other personal files needed to be pulled and saved.

Hewid looked up from where he was working. "Shouldn't be a problem. I just need to grab a Fuel Module Capacitor Unit. Then we can move the module. He stood up and pressed the intercom on the wall. "Tin-To'a. I have restored manual use of the Intercoms. I am assisting Sar Miali in transffering a fuel module to the Flitter. Also I discovered that the source of the 'ghosts' is the brain. It is using the
Uos Tasbai system to try and let us know what happened. After I get the fuel module I will resume repairs to the Norjopa Yoqa'te."

He walked over to the storage cabinet in Engineering. He took out a charged capacitor. Yellow lights illuminated on the unit.

"Let's get to the damaged craft and get you a fuel cell."

Kynlumu'a Cabin

The terminal display changed. "Secure data module detected in slot.... Passcode required." The image showed that the Iginâ Wumyjo Fiqorka was inserted in the right side of the station.

Murr had heard Sogi question, but at the moment she was focused on the job at hand. It was good to be in contact with others again. Even if this form of communication may be compromised, at least it was communication with others and didn't feel so isolated.

She wanted to respond to Sogi's question. But it added mystique and intimidation to herself and gave La'ta
an unique status. Not to be rude, Murr ignored and let the question to be answered by La'ta if she desired to respond on her behalf as she had a job to do in providing security for the group.

Wapoin Rou'sa

Murr got the dead bodies piled neatly in a secluded corner, paying attention to fur markings and color that would let her know if one of the dead bodies was any kin to Sogi and Tota. She took notice that the Wapoina Rou'sa automated equipment began coming to life with soft chirps and whirs of mechanical functions.

Once the bodies were secured, she let La'ta know it was okay to bring the others into the Medical Section. She gave the place a better look over with the place now well lit up.

Nyora'a Ruo'sa -> Flitter Bay

Miali blinked when he mentioned over the intercom about the attempts to use the Uos Tasbai system to convey information. "How very interesting," commented the Tuoro as she made ready to head back to the flitter bay with Hewid. "Sar, we might want to remember that little audible trick for a future mission, you think? If we could teach the brain on the Yome ahead of time certain natural sound codes from specific planets in discernable 3D patterns or locations, it would be a really cool way to employ covert communications that get around the use of primary systems." The dancer was always very keen on anything involving sound or music, after all she was a performer before becoming Âdornorpa'a.

Outside Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ stuck with the children as Murr went inside to handle the bodies. "Do not worry, Murr is not a machine." She patted both of them gently on the head, though the metal hands of the suit were cold, her actions were warm and sincere, it would seem there was a bit of a mother hiding within this medic.

At Murr's signal she took Tota and Sogi into the infirmary, putting Tota down on a medical table, under a radiant healing device. "With this equipment I can patch you up no problem." She made sure everything was working properly and powered on before looking to Tota. "It might feel a little weird, but it will be fine alright?"

Nyora'a Ruo'sa -> Flitter Bay

"Well, Tasi will have somethings to say about that. After all the Yome is a warship. This was a searcher with families manning it. This ship's brain found the only avenue it could to communicate. But I will suggest it to Kasâvyjo Kehula." Hewid responded a hint of anger in his voice. He walked up to the damaged flitter. He fitted the capacitor on the anti-hydrogen container. Once he confirmed that the field was holding inside the module he disconnected it and hefted it. "Too bad the Tin-Ta'a will not let us wear these suits aboard the Yome. Makes short work of heavy lifting." He crossed over to the pristine flitter and inserted the module. He locked the module into position and activated the power coupling. Once the indicator was blue, he removed the capacitor from it. "There you go. Should have plenty of fuel now. I'll be back in the other room trying to get the network working." He said before heading back over.

Wapoin Rou'sa

Tota looked at La'tâ. "No problem. I had my right arm broken a few months back. The Wapoin'asa set the bone and healed it with the equipment." He then took Sogi's hand.

Sogi looked around at the less than pristine medical section. "Are we the only survivors?" she looked down, "That is silly. Of course we are if we weren't the others would be here." She looked at La'tâ her eyes glistening with tears that she struggled to hold back. She looked at Tota, "Well now you will be tied with me for getting treated."

Deck 1

A moment after stepping into the hallway, Syaboa felt an impact on the armor. The HUD showed damage to the protective armor but integrity was intact. The shot came from the port side, and there was no noticeable muzzle flash.

Bridge

Toidorno hailed the Yome and provided a status report. So far other than strange sounds and some apparent sabotage; the ship appeared to be safe. There were two baqli survivors being taken care of in Medical. He sent a query to the away team.

"Status Report all hands."

Kynlumu'a Cabin

Syaboa nodded and did what she was told to do, putting the satchel on she held on to her gun waiting to see if something else was going to happen

Deck 1

Syaboa growled and turned to the port side "What was that!?" she knew it was a shot but it was like there nothing but the shot no gun, when the query came to her she was looking around "um good except I just got shot by an unknown assailant with no noticeable weapon" the person seem to have run after the one shot, she went onto private comms with Memi "listen here, there is someone shooting out here, stay in there till I say it is safe, or you may be hit!"

Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ smiled at Tota being brave and positive in such a situation. "Yes, it will feel about the same." She unwrapped his leg and then began using the radian healing console to repair his leg, being careful to properly transfer between settings and make sure the tissue was all in balance.

Sogi's question surprised her a bit but she tried not to show any such surprise in her voice. "We have not been able to explore the whole ship yet, the others that came with us also have communication trouble, so it is possible there are others who have just not been reported to us, or could just still be in hiding." She did not want to be pessimistic in such a situation, and she didn't have enough information to say it was likely everyone was dead, so she stuck with such a report.

Wapoin Rou'sa

Murr stood patiently as she looked over the room.. With the door jammed open, it could be to their advantage or enemy. It was whom ever got of the first shot. She could move out to the hallway, but that would leave another way in. So she compromised by standing to the side of the door to see out of an angle into the corridor that hadn't been checked out nor traversed.

Seeing that La'ta had Sogi occupied while she worked on Tota. She prowled the area near the door while keeping them safe as best as possible.

Syaboa saw a blue flash from the port side and three impacts to the armor. The flash was indicative of a coil weapon. The Dahome HUD displayed damage to the armor. Internal integrity was still holding. Also she saw a brief outline of a figure holding the weapon. They appeared to be in some sort of armor.

Wapoin Rou'sa
Tota's injury was healing nicely under La'tâ's care. "It does feel different, when the bone was broken it just tingled a bit. This feels more like something moving around. Kind of like a bug."

Sogi meanwhile moved to another position in the Med Center to try to see what Murr was doing.

Flitter Bay

Miali watched Hewid as he worked, shutting her yap about the coded message idea for now as it obviously offended some of his engineering sensibilities. You never know, though, what if the Yome ever had some kind of betrayer aboard? She put that thought out of her furry head quickly though, Qeadal obviously ran such a tight ship from what she had seen up to this point that such a thing could never happen. No, what she should be concerned with now was the possibility of the saboteur still being alive somewhere on this vessel. She had let her guard down with all the focus on repairing the flitter, and resolved to be more vigilant going forward, as there was definitely still the feeling that something was... off... on the vessel.

The Tuoro purred a "Thank you," to the departing Bajao'a, adding "Remind me I owe you a drink when we are done with this gig." Miali then quickly closed up all the access panels on the intact flitter and ran the diagnostics again on the power systems from the acceleration chair. Seeing things checked out this time with the anti-hydrogen reactor power source functioning in normal parameters, she felt comfortable using the intercom to communicate to the bridge the positive state of affairs.

"Sar Miali, reporting in from the Flitter Bay," began the Âdornorpa'a in response to Toidorno's request. as she watched the numerous displays reading OK in front of her. "Power restored to the secondary flitter in the bay, thanks to Sar Hewid. All systems are reading green, we are ready for takeoff at any time back to the Yome once the others have..." She paused for moment mid-sentence... was that far off gunfire from the deck above she heard with her sensitive ears?

Syaboa turned towards the silhouette and fired a warning shot in a low growl she said "Who goes there? answer or I will use lethal action" she was annoyed that her new armour was taking damage her gun trained on the person "ANSWER NOW!" she was getting impatient and annoyed about this ship.

Flitter Bay

Hewid stopped at the entrance, "You can buy me a drink, only if you let me buy the second one. After all I was only doing my job. Do not forget to speak to the Tin-Ta'a about that idea. Tasi is like most new ship brains. So convinced that he can take on any enemy and defeat them. Who knows if the Tin-Ta'a likes the idea it might get used elsewhere in the fleet." He then stepped out and entered the engine room.

Deck 1

"Ojâtem ria âyem" the figure said in an amplified voice. Then fired an explosive round at Syaboa. The force of the blast knocked her into the hull wall. Her HUD showed serious damage to the front armor panels, and her interior integrity was compromised.

Deck 1

Hearing the weapon's fire Memi ejected the drive and tossed it into a pocket, before turning and Joining Syaboa. Bringing his weapon up he searched around for a target as he reached forward with a free hand and pulled Syaboa back into the room. "We got to do this together..." He looked around before taking aim towards where he thought the fire was coming from and letting a short burst out. Then he ducked back.

Wapoin Rou'sa

Murr wasn't doing much, except being alert and pacing as she kept at keeping the others safe as best as possible. She would occasionally lay on the floor, raise herself up like doing a push-up and shifting/leaning forward to poke her head out to look both ways down the corridor to see if anyone was trying to sneak up on them. And then shift back to regain her feet for another lap of pacing back and forth with her weapon ready to respond to any threats.

Flitter Bay

Miali gave a paws up to Hewid's words and nodded her helmeted head, "You got it, Sar. So Tasi is our ship brain's name, huh? That's why I got a little confused. I'll see if I can whip up some notes to in my spare time to explain it better to the Tin-Ta'a, and maybe Tasi will even see the value of having unconventional tactics and security to use against an enemy."

As she said this there was the faint sound again, and followed by a dull thunk that traveled down the hull. Miali picked up the intercom again. "Tin-To'a, Sar Miali reporting. I think my Dahome sensors are picking up sounds of a skirmish somewhere on Deck 1. Isn't that where Sar Memi and Sar Syaboa were?"
