RP: Yome Ismâopate [Mission 2.0] Spirits in the dark

Deck 1

Syaboa grabbed the injured armoured person "I will interrigate this scumbag, can you two handle yourselves while I am gone?" She looked at the other two waiting to know if she could leave the other two that were there with her.

Deck 1

The armor clad hostile slumped against the wall of the corridor to rest on the floor. The large shield it carried slipped from its grasp and it clattered to the ground loudly. Blood flowed from the holes in the leg armor.

"Dahojo Ri wati" came from the armor's speakers. "Gely'bu sou ojme" followed. A hissing sound could be heard coming from the damaged armor. A moment later there was a whumpf sound and a scream came from not only the speakers but from the helmet. Jets of white flame came out of the various hole in the armor. The screaming was fortunately very brief as the occupant was consumed.

Dahojo Ri wati - You fought well
Gely'bu sou ojme - Death before dishonor

Soga and Tota watched as La'ta worked on healing Murr. They remained silent until Murr started trying to get up. Tota let you a short squeal of surprise. Soga looked at La'ta, "Is that normal?" she asked with a quaver in her voice.

Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ noticed Murr suddenly try to get up and put her hand lightly on her chest to prevent her from getting up. As she spoke she opened her mask so Murr could see her. "Relax Murr you're safe, but you're in no condition to move." She tries to gently push her back down to laying down hoping she'll clam seeing her.

Wapon Rou'sa

Murr's eyes (pupils) slowly widen as her sight became accustomed to the light. Hearing La'ta familiar voice, she slumped back down, relaxing. Claws that extended, retracted as she was with someone she trusted with her life. Ears flickered at the unfamiliar youthful squeal of surprise.

She nodded to La'ta to continue her work as she looked over at the two baqli. She gave a sharp sniffing inhale through her nose to commit their sent to memory as friendlies. She gave Sogi a wink of companionship as she looked at the room around her by moving her head. She spotted her Dahome laying on the floor, opened up. Seeing the gash in the armor, She knew the space walk back to the WAP Ismaopate was out of the question till the armor was repaired. It was even sporting a few good dents testifying to the punishment she had received.

Her mind was already taking notes for her report on the Dahome. It would be scathing, yet with good points. Nothing but the truth so that the designers and engineers of the Dahome could improve upon it. She hoped it was still functional, for it carried a lot of weight in explosive from the container that's been pilfered by the two culprits in the room with them. Better by them, than the enemy.

Wapoin Ruo'sa

The Tin-To'a came walking into the Wapoin Ruo'sa. He stopped in and surveyed the scene. The sight of two baqli in the devastation of the room seemed incongruous. He then saw La'ta working on Murr.

"Sar-Qoji, give me a status report. Who are the baqli and what is Murr's status?" he said moving up along side her.

Deck 1

Hewid made his way forward from Engineering to the bridge. He entered several commands onto the console. He activated the ship wide speakers. "There are no more hostiles present on the Âmuso Ibâka. Sufficient control has been restored to bring her along side the Yome. I do not recommend docking. We will need to send for a Wadâmo'a-class to take her back to Sotâka Ruomâqi.

Sâvyjo'sa Memi Sotar the jodau stands ready to transfer data at your leisure."

Hewid then activated the comm system. "Tin-To'a, communications with the Yome are available at your leisure."

Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ turned her attention to Toidorno as he approached, thanks to her expanded sensor range she was already aware of him. "Tin-To'a Sar...the baqli are Sogi and Tota, they were one the ship when it was attacked." She then looked back at Murr still working, but now she at least had the vessel closed and could work on the muscle damage. "Murr's condition is still poor, however as long as nothing interferes I can have her patched up for transport or combat depending on what you decide."

Deck 1

Miali wasn't sure at first if she had struck some kind of critical power system with her final shots in the clip of her gun, looking on with a bit of disbelief at the enemy suddenly be consumed by their own equipment rather than face capture and interrogation. She walked over Syaboa from her spot under cover, and looked at the lifeless hunk of junk that was their former opponent that she was holding. "Woah, death before dishonor? Serious stuff. Guess you're out of luck now, huh, Sar?" she commented for a moment to the squad leader, poking it once with her now empty rifle as a thin trickle of ashes fell out onto the floor. "I suppose all we can do is salvage what we can of the remains and see what we can discover that way."

The Tuoro then looked at Memi as they announced the all clear, offering him an armored hand up from the floor. "Sorry I didn't say hello before to you both. Being shot at and all... I'm Savyjo Miali Syavis, Âdornorpa'a extraordinaire at your service." She laughed lightheartedly a moment at the rather silly introduction, then heard Hewid's voice once more ring through the deck. "I think you're on now, Sar. Time to make that data dance," began Miali with a smile at Memi as she considered how she would transport the salvage to the waiting shuttle. With the Dahome's strength boosting it shouldn't be too bad, though.

Murr laid here letting La'ta work as Tiodorno came into her view. She listened to the exchange between them. Her eyes blazed with determination not to be liability. But her future looked bleak. With the ruined Dahome to testify for her actions and reason for being in this predicament, flat on her back and no armor in a hostile situation.

Then much to her relief came Hewid's announcement. Another scar with its story to add to the violent history already written upon her furry flesh. Her tail gave another wiggle and a tip flicked back and forth. Ears that stood up and wide open, relaxed with the tips slightly curling in relaxation. As she relaxed, her body relaxed even more allowing La'ta to work more efficiently.

Deck 1

Hewid left the bridge and made his way forward to check on the others. He stopped to look at the damaged armor lying prone. He walked up to it and his HUD showed the temperature of the exterior. He knelt down to examine some fine powder near the unit. "Goa'te Soujo," he said standing.

"This armor is not a clan design, but has been modified to serve and fitted with at least some Clan weaponry. Kasâvyjo Kehula will want to examine it, but with the heat from the inside there will not be much left of the workings." He activated his comm, "Tin-To'a, the hostile on deck 1 was a Goa'te Soujo. I suspect the other was as well."

Translation Dead Walking

Wapoin Ruo'sa

Toidorno looked around. "Let me know what Sar-Whisk is ready for transfer to the Yome. We'll use the Âdortin'sa that Sar-Syaboa prepared. We'll take the survivors with us a well. See if there are Moviumatgoi that they can wear and find one for Sar-Whisk. I want everyone in a self-contained suit just in case anything happens while they are in transit."

He walked closer and looked at Murr's armor and then back to her, "Well, you certainly pushed your Dahome beyond its design specs. We will talk more about that later. Let Sar-Qoji get you patched up enough for transit."

Wapoin Rou'sa

Murr didn't like that feeling that came over her about having the 'private talk'. It usually foretold a serious tail chewing. She raised her chin in defiance and determination as she waved her arm to the two baqli and La'ta. One missile was okay as chances for survival was good. But the second missiles would be the death of them. She couldn't have allowed that.

Murr deftly reached out and snagged Toidorno's HS-PE4-1a Mako'sa Kyn (Data Pad) and rapid fired typed in very bad grammar but enough to be understood when she handed it back.

:: 7 paw (foot) behemoth fired 1 missile in2 Wapoin. prevented2nd would killed Lata, 2 baqli. they survive 2 warn rest. I expendable, living borrowed time. I still walk / provide Bajao'a skills, EOD support! ::

She stared back defiantly at Toidorno, her Tin -To'a for this mission to show she wasn't ready to just roll over and allow the Nine Fates to have their way with her. Nor leave her teammates one short. She just had to fight more skillful. Even though her eyes twinkled with humor at the part she pushed the Dahome past its specs.

Wapoin Ruo'sa

Toidorno looked at her message. "No one on an away team is expendable. Someday you may be called to return to Siamaka. But you should not throw yourself into its embrace. The missile was an incendiary device. You could have closed the door to the room and protected them. As I said, we will discuss the more later. Once we are back aboard the Yome, there will be a formal debriefing...."

He paused when he received Hewid's report. "We have stumbled onto some dark events, the full extent we do not yet know. But for now we all draw breath and will return to our ship with two baqli to care for."

Wapoin Rou'sa

La'tâ gave a nod, she wasn't sure how Murr's some what defiant actions would go over but it seemed like things would at least not go poorly. "The Moviumatgoi would be near the airlocks and hangars I'd assume." She continued her work on Murr as she spoke, after all the Tin-To'a was waiting on her. Unfortunately her wounds were not something that were able to be ignored briefly for transport, at least not in her current condition. However Murr had been injected with Iasa Niuos so her diaphragm did not have to be fully working at the moment, just repaired so that it would not give further damage, which by now she had completed, so she switched her work to the kidney, which would be a little more trouble some during transport, it was also the most damaged and would take the most skill, and because La'tâ could not flush Murr's system since the rest of the medical equipment was ruined she had to get that at least partially working for transport so Murr didn't get toxins in her system during transport.

Wapoin Rou'sa

Toidorno took a moment to note the progress La'tâ was making. "You are doing a good job. I am sure that Sasâvyjo'sa Yaobas will be pleased.

I will be on the bridge coordinating with the Yome for our arrival. Let me know when Murr is fit for transfer. Check on the others too. If we have anyone else that will need attention. Since the Âdortin'sa only accomondates six, there will be room for one more. The rest of us will latch onto the Âdortin'sa's hull and catch a ride over. We'll release before you enter and come in on our power."

Deck 1

Miali opened the visor of her Dahome combat armor taking a breath of non-processed air and to get a better look at Hewid, relieved that he was okay and her worry was misplaced. She agreed with his assessment that this wasn't a normal clan armor they had been dealing with, otherwise she likely would have had a much easier time putting it down quickly. She found herself repeating the name he mentioned to the Tin-To'a a couple of times to see if she recalled hearing it before. "Goa'te Soujo... Hmm." It seemed a very ominous pair of words, bringing to mind the rites of the dead, and the self-immolation was almost like what one would see heading to the Ânamus norjopa for recycling of a fallen poku. They had gotten involved with some very shady individuals to be sure, but she would just have to wait and see what her superiors thought of all of this. For right now there was getting everyone off of the ship safely.

Miali turned to Hewid with a nod, and then hit her communications link open to Toidorno. "Sar-Syavis to Tin-To'a, everyone up here seems to be relatively ok. Sar-Syaboa and I sustained some damage to our armors from the firefight, but are otherwise uninjured. I was going to try to get what salvage we can of the enemy remains into the Âdortin'sa Vona'oâ cargo, and ready it for launch when the team is prepared to depart the Âmuso Ibâka."

Deck 1

Once he was helped up, Memi stood there leaning against a wall panting and trying to think straight again. He almost stayed in his daze when the alert message came. "Give me a few I have to go and get it ready."

Looking between Miali and Syaboa he thought for a moment. "Who's going to escort me to the ship's brain?"

Deck 1

Syaboa finally moved "I am sorry, I have never seen that happen before, I got lost in a trance from those words and the fire" she smiled looking at Memi "why not we both go with you, just incase something else happened" she shuddered a bit and winced "lets go and get what we need from the brain then."

Wapoin Rou'sa

It took a few minutes longer but La'tâ was fairly sure she had repaired the kidney to a point that it could operate and function. She could spend her time to get it back to perfect condition, but that would be better to do back on the Yome, as these were not even the best conditions and it was probably taking a toll on Murr's body. So the tender sealed her back up with the radiant healing devices making sure she was in a condition where she could walk on her own and then gave a nod of approval.

"Tin-To'a, she is ready to be moved, we will check the airlocks for space suits." She said over the comm system.

Murr gave a rueful glance at the Dahome, placing a hand paw on the still tender spot. She sat up with the help of La'ta, getting used to the tender spot on her abdomen. It felt funny and not right, yet she was able to stand and move without her usual flexibility. There were odd twinges of pain from the sore spot. It seamed that her kidney was on fire.

Murr, becoming business like, moved to the ruined Dahome. She knelt on one knee and removed the Dahome's CPU Hard Drive that contained operational software and data gathered during the mission. She shook her head as she couldn't believe she had killed her Dahome. She probably just bought something she couldn't take home. Lucky it was money she was going to lose, not her life. She gave the Dahome a pat and stood with the CPU hard drive.

She moved over to one of the cabinets and rifled through it till she found a Lab Coat and paper slippers. She put on the lab coat and sat in a chair. she struggled with the paper slippers, tearing at least two to three pairs from the pressure on her abdomen from bending over. She made funny faces a she struggled.

Several times Murr looked at Toga and Sota, with a hopeful expression to see if they would assist her as she started on the next pair of paper slippers.

Sogi and Tota spoke to each other in low voices. "You stay here I will go get our suits. You help the one with no voice." Sogi said. The baqli then scampered out the door. "I'm getting our suits. They aren't in the airlocks." and made their way to where their quarters were.

Tota meanwhile approached Murr, "Here let me help you." he said and took a pair of slippers. He then grabbed one of Murr's feet and slid the temporary slipper on it. He smiled, "See easy for me." He then repeated the process with the other foot. "All done. Don't worry, your crew should be able to fix your armor."

Deck 1

Miali shrugged her shoulders at Syaboa. "It is not every day you see something as crazy as that, and believe me I have seen some wild stuff! I wonder what info those creeps were protecting anyway, to be willing to die for it so readily?" The silver furred Touro glanced at Memi after Syaboa's suggestion and then gave the Qaktoro a soft elbow in the side of his Dahome to bring him back to awareness from where he was leaning. "Lucky you, Sar, getting the offer of two lovely escorts today, mmm?" she said with a playful smirk. "Well, I suppose the salvage can wait for a few moments..."
