Âmuso Ibâka Airlock
Hewid worked the controls and was satisfied by the initial response. When the airlock started to cycle to allow them entrance. He noted however that the process took approximately twice as long as it should under normal circumstances. He turned to the Tin-To'a, "Sar, ship's power must be close to reserves level. Ship operations are in conservation mode." He said, and then stepped into the airlock and waited.
Toidorno stepped into the lock or almost floated in, it was as the Bajao'a said. The gravity in the airlock was barely present. Not quite zero g but perhaps only a tenth at the moment. Once inside the lock he activated the system to cycle them in. The hissing sound of introduced atmospheric gases filled the airlock fading as the pressure approached near normal. The inner door unlocked and he opened the hatch. The door slid slowly out of the way and he carefully walked out into the corridor. His first impression was that it was dark, most of the ceiling lighting was off, whether due to damage or conservation he was not sure. The emergency lighting on the rails was activated but it fluctuated in intensity. He looked at his helmet display, it showed that the interior temp of the ship was 40 degrees, tolerable but not comfortable. It showed that the air was breathable as well. He activated his helmet lamp and looked around. "Bajao'a, interface at the nearest terminal. See if you can get a status on the ship systems." he said.
Hewid moved quickly briefly launching himself in the low gravity but his backpack helped to bring him back to the floor in a controlled fashion. He opened a data junction port and connected his datapad too it. However, the pad did not establish a connection as it should have. He pressed the intercom panel above and a series of squeals and static were all it produced He turned back to Toidorno, "Sar, the light wire system is non-responsive, intercom system is damaged. It is possible that the core connections are working but I would need to access them from somewhere like engineering or the bridge.
"Once the others arrive, you and I will make our way to the bridge."
EVA Cross Over
As La'tâ and Murr got closer to the drifting ship, their helmets showed a number of objects drifting between them. The objects were obviously debris from the ship and possibly the one that attacked them. At their present speed their armor would protect them, the container would probably also be fine.
They could see from where they were that the first members of the away team had entered the ship.
Air Lock
The pumping sound of the airlock pulling the air out of the lock started as soon as Syaboa pressed the switch. Minor creaks could be heard by Memi and her as their armor adjusted to the change in pressure. Their heads up displays showed the falling airpressure. Once it reached zero, the lights in the airlock switched off and the door started opening. Beyond the doorway was the faint glow of the nebula and the stricken craft floating in the distance.
