Mikael, who henceforth shall be known as Duztdran Bhorvoom, watches the ongoings of the docking cavern as they made their way for the egress. He studied the social behaviors of the number of attendants and walked with the level of confidence next to his *beautiful* assistant. The inner pimp was at work.

As they entered the elevator, Bhorvoom simply replied to Eden with a very minimalist chibi of his new form wearing Nepleslian pimp gear, it tips its purple hat with a cane.

"While I trust my assistant here not to have secured everything before it shipped, I want to make sure all of my cargo actually arrived." Bhorvoom said, looking at Kasumi in disguise. She just silently nodded, keeping her mind blank of any real emotions. Though she did wonder how much of that was him and how much of it was in character.

While Alastair stood proud to face whatever was about to drop out of the fold. Ready to put as many lives on the line to win victory. Yet there was a part of his brain running calculations like a super computer. Granted this was partly true since he was a Minkan but the other reason was for far less logical reasons. For him the path to victory was won by outsmarting, out performing and sometimes being willing to go to the extremes. Even if this meant sacrifices had to be made. Though sometimes that price had a cost that could not be outweighed by victory, the lives of those under his command.

His mind cleared as his eyes glazed over as he came to understand clearly the situation. "Gravity! Barrel roll us out of the path of this station immediately! Prep the anchor as well." He said with a big smile looking to the neko in control of the weapons.

For many months Alastair had worked on a secret project in the cargo bay. What started out as a joke had given him the idea to come up with his own maneuver. Even in space turning a ship the size of the Kiayo takes moments longer than they might have in a battle. So he concluded why not just gain assistance from an enemy ship. This is how the Belmont Hookshot came into existence.

Sakura had been happy so far that the plan had been working. As she was quiet in the lift she saw Rei leave with William and left them with the bill. Make a mental note to get her later she waited till they got to there destination. As paid the toll as she stepped out "Thanks, keep the change". Being in the fourth Chamber she had been joined by Kiana. As she stepped out into the area she looked to her crewmate "Ready to shop?"

Kiyo watched Sakura and Kiana leave before she turned her attention to Wulf, and kept her face in the neutral Kuvexian look. “yes indeed, I did, and I do not wish to delay either” she said before she began leading the way calmly hoping that their machines didn’t detect her subterfuge as she leads Wulf towards where they were supposed to go.

Aiko paced forward off the elevator and into the waiting reception room, doing her best to emulate the convulsive manner in which Kuvexians moved. She'd studied what little footage was available to her as a Star Army officer in preparation for the mission, training her body to stop and start in the alien way their foes do in the hope that it'd make her outward disguise more convincing. For its part, the false image she projected now had soft periwinkle blue skin and an unremarkable smattering of thin bio-luminescent markings on its face. This persona dressed modestly in the flowing robes and complex layers that intelligence reports said a Kuvexian would wear, and her attire was adorned with all manner of shiny rings and baubles while five thick gold necklaces fell flat over her chest. It was a gaudy costume by Yamataian standards, to be sure, but was as accurate for the Kuvexian persona's position as a middling financials trader.

"This is the appointed hour of our reservation," the disguised Ketsurui told the waiting attendant. The dark eyes of her Kuvexian disguise couldn't help but slip and slide around in its head as Aiko took in the ostentatious and outrageously decorated chamber she now stood in. Her only experience with civilian life on Yamatai had been in its imperial palaces, but this place was a bit much with its gilding and gems at every angle. The plants here were a nice touch, though, so she could understand how a culture could develop to find all of it appealing.

"Please show us forward with appropriate haste," Aiko added with an entitled, expectant amount of demand. "Every moment spent waiting here is a trade lost to our competition."

The diminutive Leinve attendant followed dutifully after her Kuvexian mistress as the taller woman stepped out of the lift after paying the toll. Given the greedy nature of the Kuvexians, the Sprite didn’t think it was authentic for one of the foul frog-footed creatures to be so generous as to let a worker keep the change. Kuvexians were a covetous and selfish species that was just as liable to take advantage of their own kind as they were to exploit other species. It was a miracle that they were able to sustain a functional, intersystem society given their inherent greed.

With a few strokes of her volumetric audio projection communicator, Kiana replied to her disguised Kuvexian mistress in a slightly monotonous tone. “Yes, I am!” She said, her leafy brows and shifting expressively in response, conveying a level of forced enthusiasm that was admirable in a Kuvexian's alien underling. The reply was accompanied by an via an encrypted transmission to her mission partner, in which the Sprite corresponded that she was ready to follow the technician’s lead.

Saya stood a few steps behind Aiko, silent for the most part as her eyes impassively looked around and took in their surroundings. She was a nervous wreck under her disguise, but she did her best to hide both her physical and mental feelings from any prying eyes or minds. She forced herself to take deep breaths to calm herself and it seemed like in the time it took for their group to enter, she succeeded. Her mind was calmed as best it could as she began to mentally focus on the information they had received, the stocks they needed to buy and whatever she could pull up in her mind from the data they had been sent.

She ignored the strange sensation of knowing she wasn't who she looked like, a bit uncomfortable looking like the enemy just now, but she did her best to push the thoughts aside and instead focus on the task at hand. Her eyes scanned over to Aiko for a moment, silently watching her like a good attendant, and then back to the person they were waiting on, silent all the while.

As Rei motioned for him to follow, he began to lumber forward. For his part, he played the part of a giant oaf. He followed behind them and stared straight ahead, a blank expression on his face as everyone spoke. He did catalog everything he saw, scanning with his peripheries.

It was very odd to see Rei and Aiko in their disguises, and it was even weirder listening to Rei speak. She never spoke like that and it threw him off. Yet, his face never changed. He kept the blank, dumb look on his face. Nothing but a big, dumb, slave bodyguard. To keep himself occupied he began thinking up ways he was going to kill all the Kuvexians in the room. He had come up with a few creative ways which drew just the barest smile on his face, but it was gone just as fast as it appeared. If they tried anything, they wouldn't know what would hit them.

When Aiko made her demand to the attendant, he looked down at the princess in disguise. He had an idea. "Master..." He said in a deep voice, drawing out the syllables. "They take to long... do you want me to make them hurry?" He asked, looking to the attendant and snarling.

Chlorate's tracks clanked but not quite as loudly as her feet did on the ground. She could not fly like this, or even jump, which was slightly disappointing because all of her other forms had the ability to hover. It almost felt confining, but it was worth it. She turned to look at Hoshi, but she did not have a head, so her turret turned to look at her instead. "Affirmative, however, if you are on foot I do not think there is a contest as to who would win such a race," the tank girl informed her, not realizing it might offend her. If she wasn't going to fly, that would mitigate Chlorate's tankette's inability to leave the ground without a ramp and would also make her significantly slower. "The speed at which you operate your feet cannot match the velocity of this tankette." Thank goodness the pink neko didn't challenge Chlorate to a race when she was in her loud-footed robot body, at least.

Though the Kuvexian had raised a hand and opened her blue lipped mouth to speak to Aiko, she waited for William to speak. She lowered her arm and her open mouthed and expectant expression surrounding her abyssal dark eyes slackened.

In a soft and practiced tone of cordiality, the Kuvexian told them, "Though we value your dealings, your trade here is unwelcome if your slaves are unwelcoming." Her measured stare at Aiko warmed while she swept her body towards Aiko, then bent at the hip to fall forward. She was promptly opening an unseen cabinet at her leg's level and with a sharp movement of her shoulders, she brought her hands' bounty to the tall surface between the disguised Kaiyō party and herself. "Your company's quality and merits, please." She had set out a pad and a shallow tray of a softly sparkling white with gilded edges. The tablet wasmuch like a datajockey or datapad and was a simple screen comprised of gilded edges. In the tray was a keyring with two skeleton keys and a fist-sized emerald. The receptionist's expectant expression moved past Aiko as she began the arrangements for the group.

The mission's data packet that the crew had received contained the quality and merit codes she had asked for. She began to speak gently while she passed out small satchels, of which Rei peered into.

Explaining, the receptionist paused at Rei's satchel and pointed out each item.

"Your Boran slugs," she said, pointing to a flimsy jar that held a light teal gelatinous movement of a creature. "Please be sure to put the Boran slugs on all jewelry. As you know, the slug will protect you from the conductive nature of most metals in these temperatures. As you may not know, failure to put them on any piece of jewelry could easily result in penalty charges and risk to your own health."

Pointing to a bundle of wrapped cloth, she said, "Now there, you have a pupa worm silk slip. It is to be used over erect genitalia, if the situation arises. Next to them, suction covers for your hands and feet, if you would like that fee. If not, the third room of trial will be a longer duration. Moving on to your whole satchel, that is a watertight bag so feel free to close it up and bring anything you would like with you into the liquids you wil be trialing in.” She gave a curt nod and her silvery bob of hair pushd off her shoulderline as she swayed during her schpiel.

“We do have a food and drink from outside policy, though. We provide refreshments during your fifth trial's reprieve, only." She looked to everyone else gathered swiftly before moving on to pass to William a pair of socks, then gave a satchel like the one she had been demonstrating with to Saya and Aiko. "Your slave and any servants will not be allowed in the liquids. We all know these trials are not for them. In an emergency, we have medical staff on standby beside each room. Use of them comes with both a charge and forfeiture to sell your stocks within the sector upon this visit and you may try again next quarter. Leaving the rooms, of course, without an attendant, results in the same. As does leaving the liquids of your own will. If for some reason you are removed, return to the liquid immediately and the timer our attendants keep will reset for the room you are in only.”

She took in a breath, then went on, “If you have any questions, ask the attendants that takes you between your trial rooms." She had handed a large and cumbersome stack of hand towels atop an even taller stack of three bodily towels to William and before she let her hand leave the topmost towel, she spoke again. "These are for the first room, use them wisely. Ready?" She clapped her hands together and turned sharply, making a jingling sound from beneath her swaying robes. "Ready it is..." the receptionist went on as she meandered to a far stone wall and pressed into a softly engraved and gilded amorphous shape within the wall's stonery.

The wall buckled and stonework seams at her touch to form an opening, at which she did not step through. Beyond was a fairly standard looking bathing room. Though it looked almost humble in adornment at first glance, the walls that held the sticky sweat of moisture were gilded while soft dripping noises came from water falling from the gems of the twinkling and fully jewel-encrusted ceiling.

Rei stepped into the room and held herself as if waiting for the whole of the attendants and her group to come in with her while also pointedly looking at the receptionist, ready for her to leave them to it.

Computer Teams ((OOC: Please, one player from either team: distinguish team names by adding one word into the name. Ex. Team Fried Computer))

As Sakura left the elevator with her Leinve attendant in tow, the elevator operator looked up with drooped dark eyes from Sakura, dressed as she was as one of his own, to Wulf and Kiyo as they meandered with less of a go-getter pace away from him. He craned his leathery blue neck to watch the two groups leave before the doors to his elevator room had closed and the parties became unseen to him as he became unseen to the plaza of shoppers within the fourth caverns.

The district was not obviously built for shopping within this main thoroughfare. Made for those walking like those on the computer teams as well as those carried within small carts. The possibility that the extraneously limbed humanoid that lumbered on his many hands and feet carried on his saddle-like back a cavernous space for a couple of wealth-holders to relax and rest within. The often-seeable tops of the riders' heads and the soft, pillowy wafting of smoke and chatter that came from the centipede-like men's backpacks hinted at the residency of those inside. A pairing of the limosine-esque lumbering beings quickly barreled past the strolling couple of Wulf and Kiyo.

Sakura and Kiana found they were walking almost in a sync with the many bowed legs of a saddled humanoid to their right as he walked on all of his hands and legs. A lengthy row of joined carts were pulled by a robotic sentry to their left while they walked along the thoroughfare. Though they seemed to be slotted in between two walkers that matched their fast pace, the disguised Yamataian women seemed to be headed to the same place as them. Directly to the left along a bend in the cavern was a short tunnel that led to an electronics district of shopping. The pace of the three groups; the drone carrying cargo carts, Kiana and Sakura, and the centipede with the boxy, wide, saddle from which the ecstatic din of a private conversation came from, were all going the same pace. Kiana and Sakura could not see the participants on the saddled long man as they spoke quickly, hidden as they were above the girls and hidden behind their container, but the Neko and Sprite ears of the women could easily pick up the pieces of a conversation as the participants moved from talking about a solid financial infrastructure to an lull in substance as they began to wildly praise one another for their skills and historical ability in that regard. Sakura and Kiana probably had another two minutes of their hasty clip.

Wulf and Kiyo were ambling as they made their way to the same place. Directly to the left along a bend in the cavern was a short tunnel that led to an electronics district of shopping. wulf and Kiyo were talking their time and, so, more able to take in the sights and smells of the entrance to the fourth cavern. It was much like a market district with fast foods, booths filled with attractive items that wowed buyers, hobby stalls, and the random entertainer and performer. Some of the smells hit a part of the nose's palette unfelt by the Yamataians. A sharp, briney taste in their upper nostrils hit them sharply and passed slowly while they went by a food stall with the mass of a creature whose tendrils looked like dripping ichor. Directly after the smell had left their presence almost fully, they could see they were passing a place of beadwork, though the jewelry created was made with jewels that shown in the low light of the cavern unlike they should. The red jewel with gold shaped around it shown with a brightness like a million ecstatic fires burned within it. A blue jewel that had stringings of gold as fine as thread that dripped at their tips like jewels themselves pooled at the center of gilding with a depth that to look at felt like coming up for breath after a long dive into an indigo pool's waters. More stalls followed, more of the same types of excitement but not quite until the stalls parted and they were headed towards the connecting tunnel that led to the electronics subdistrict.

Indira nodded to Lauren and adjusted the map to show better detail of the ventilation system. "That seems wise, Strong-san."

The Iroma took a moment to send over the path to the others.

"We should still take care," she said once the files finished transferring. "It is common for security measures to not be on the blue prints, especially ones as easily acquired as these. I do not think the Captain will be pleased if we alert the Kuvexians to our mission because they caught us in the vents."

Moving towards the door, she pulled out a regulation scanning device and connected one of the scanner modules. Once she confirmed that it worked, she nodded back at the others.

"If one of you soldier types would like to take the lead, I'll do what I can to keep us appraised of any detection systems as we go."

As she walked with her disguised partner towards the electronics shopping section, Kiana stole more than a few curious glances at the cargo drone to her left and the saddled centipede-like creature to her right. This was the newly-created Sprite’s first time ever leaving the Kaiyō II and stepping foot on a planet. She had never imagined that she would have this experience on a world that was so far from Yamatai and so deep behind Kuvexian lines. The myriad assortment of alien species in her vicinity was deeply captivating, especially since a few of them had not been extensively documented in the PANTHEON databases. As such, she went out of her way to record video and take pictures, filing them away into her digital mind so that they could automatically upload into PANTHEON later, upon her return to the ship. She recorded the private conversation from the group of wealthy Kuvexians riding in the saddle of the centipede-like creature as well, even after it turned towards seemingly trivial matters.

All the while, Kiana followed after Sakura until the pair reached the electronics district of the cavern. When they finally arrived, Kiana began to examine the stock of computers, but she was not yet sure which ones they would need to purchase.

“Sjet-Hei do you know which of the computers we need to purchase?” Kiana directed her gaze towards her disguised partner and transmitted a message via point-to-point telepathy.
“There are so many...and they all look the same, but...they’re not? They’re just distinguished by different labels.”

“Sir! Prepare the anchor? The what?!” Asuka's freckled facial skin slackened as her jaw had dropped while she looked at him. “We don-Grav!! Gravity?!” Asuka looked to Alastair with a look of shock and awe as the helmsman had disappeared with a sounding of a snap in the bridge. As the sound ricocheted around the walls of the bridge twice more, the Separa’shan starship operator, Nerai, nearby was surrounded in a dome of amber light and gone. There was enough of a delay that Asuka’s eyes drew from where Nerai’s hulking form had been to the captain. Her teeth gritted as her steely blue eyes looked at Alastair sharply and sent three fast telepathic messages.

To Boss she said: “Divert all power to shields, Boss. Track us with a quantu-aah!”

For the silver and black-haired captain: “Belmont-chui,” the spitfire said into his mind. “Your heroics better extend to this d-ay-aah!!”

And to the usual captain of the ship she was leaving: “Hoshi-chan, I lo-aah!”

Asuka's message had ended and she was no longer stanced towards Miko with her aggressively sharp eyes glinting in the dark of her shaded brow. Her red hair was puffing up like a stressed cat as her mouth parted to show gritted teeth the second before disappearing completely, almost in tandem with the sound of the ricocheting snap that had happened within milliseconds: still enough time for a Nekovalkyrja to do what she had done. Despite it, she was gone and so was everyone on the bridge save for Alastair Belmont, Acting Captain and Second Officer of the YSS Kaiyō II.

Boss' familial voice spoke next before an interim of silence could permeate the near empty bridge. "Belmont-chui, status report: save for three, I believe the rest of our crew has been transported off of our ship. I have tried reaching those with digital minds. Their encryption lines of communication are not receiving me. They are either outside of my range or being shielded. Before Deio-heisho left she asked I tracked them with the quantum remote scanner but I am afraid the same issue arose then."

She gave pause before adding, "I have already begun the startup sequence on my own body to assist you. The threat of the station is still present as it will be arriving in the area as predicted. What we just experienced was not something WARMS saw coming. On board we have Alder-heisho, Madoka-heisho, and our chef still on board. The chef will not budge but the two formerly mentioned Neko are en route to the bridge now. What are your orders?"

Hoshi had smiled wide when the tankette's turret turned to her and giggled slightly, too. She listened and was thoughtful before she spoke.

"There is a variable tank in SAoY's equipment list now," she giggled again as she imagined what she was about to say. "We will have an biathlon with you as one of them, if you would like to do so as well. I think it would be fun!" She gave a short laugh before cutting herself off to say, "A biathlon would be a ground race and an air race where we both fly and run, maybe even through terrain! It could be like-"

Hoshi stopped short to receive a communication from Asuka Deio just before the Neko disappeared before Alastair.

"AAAh-aha..." Hoshi stuttered out, not knowing if it was into comms or only her Mindy visor. She had only just received Asuka's message. "Oh, Chloey..." Hoshi stuttered. "Check ship status with me, they've been compromised. They're a whole ship, though, and we're only two on the ground with a mission objective we should keep at, but..." Hoshi looked to the sky with her Mindy's neck craned as her whole body swiveled to scan the expanse of cloudless blue. "There really is nothing we can do they can't, now."

She sighed out and looked to the spire they were destined for. "Look, we are coming up to our first target. I'm going to grab the sensor package inside you here, if you don't mind." To triangulate the signal from the planet, four sensor packages were within Chlorate's tankette form, sitting next to her everyday form. Three were to be set up but Hoshi had thrown a spare in incase of a problem. "Mind opening your hatch, Chloey?"

Bridge

Time stood still moments after the entire bridge crew vanished. Before his eyes he seen those who he loved most be snatched away. Like the crashing waves of the sea knocking over a sand castle. To be wiped clear as if nothing was ever there. His senses flooded with data of all those that had been taken. All but a few remained. His knees gave way and he collapsed to the floor. Without a single round fired, he had lost. There was no glories fight, no dying for your fellow crew. They were just taken, more than likely to be tortured and enslaved. He took his fist and smashed it into the floor. "AHHHHHHHHH, those fucking Kuvexian bastards. How dare they steal my crew and my victory." He screamed out into the empty void of the bridge.

He was then interrupted by boss informing him about the news. "No shit they have been transported off the ship." He started to yell but then caught himself. He then started to laugh as he fell back against the captains chair. "Smooth, yelling at a computer. Like that is going to solve anything." He took a moment then stood. "Thank you for the status report. And your welcome to fill me in on the issue with the quantum remote scanner though I have an idea the issue." Alastair reached down and picked up his sword he had drooped. Doing a quick wrist flick he turned the blade around and pushed it back into the sheath. He played it next to the captain's chair and took a seat. He knew the quantum scanner was good, if you was looking for a building. This was small crew and far too small of a target to find. Unless Alastair could come up with a solution. "Boss, divert power from areas of the ship where there are not crew. Push this into the sensor array. I am uploading the signature code for the tracking collars. Lets hope some of the crew were wearing this joke item. Interesting enough the joke is on them as this might just save their life." Alastair started to punch in the information and updated power design for the sensor grid. He hoped the stupid Kuvexian had failed to account for something low tech as a tracker collar.

"Tell the crew heading to the bridge to double time it. We wont have much time before we get dropped on. Keep those shields running hot, I don't feel like losing anymore crew, what is left at least." He couldn't help but smile at this. First day on the job and would have to report he lost an entire ships crew. He typed in the last commands to bring all of the ship fully under his control. He had to buy time till they located the crew. Alastair lifted his and looked out once more across the empty bridge. He could still see the faces of the crew he held dear. The Kuvexian one a single mistake, one that would cost them dearly. Kill the person and you take away their ability to fight. Take away what they hold most dear and create a monster the likes of which you have never seen before. "I will find you, and I will kill you. I shall take away your life to give back freedom to my crew."

Sakura was walking with Kiana enjoying the sights. For the computer technician she enjoy shopping even as she noticed the robot sentries. Unsure if they had been seen before she made a mental note to try and research them abit for a possible exploit. If she didn't have her volumetrics her tail would be in full swing thinking of hacking a system and turning it against it's creators. The great joy she would have when that happened but first they needed the tech.

As she followed along in the wave of the crowd she listened in on nearby conversations. The relations these people had and there culture was so differant. The talk of commerce and there daily lives where so much more different and alien to her. Though she knew of people in the business she didn't recall a exact conversation like this. Sure profits but it was just interesting to hear how it was a normal conversation, a thing of stature.

As she followed along the trail that it seemed they where on she looked to her crew mate. Speaking softly "Oh lets see how we will fair today and see if we can't get a steal".

Wulf felt abit unease as they went through the crowds. The only benefit was he was a body guard role and with that it gave him a little chance to look around as they moved. Though he saw the food stands and the took in the smells he noticed the Limosine-eqsque move past them. Seeing that status didn't care as it barreled past he made sure they moved slightly out of the way. As he moved and making sure to watch for any possible threats that might assail them he paused to make sure his charge was protected. Seeing Kiyo in that disguise was abit unsettling but it was part whole ensemble.

As they moved through the shops he thought he caught of glimpse of there target. Looking to Kiyo "Ma'am I believe the district you wished to view is not that much farther, I'm sorry for the delay today". It felt a little unnatural to say it that way but he thought it would work as a servant. Heck he just hopped.

Kiyo used part of her combat mindset as she walked with her lover in the Kuvexian disguise. This had helped greatly because she disliked using the form, and the appearance she saw being reflected at her through various reflective surfaces. It unsettled her, and she wondered how he’d felt seeing her like this.

She decided, she won’t be wearing anything when she returned to the ship, it would be a sort of gift for Wulf too as well as her desires. She hoped that would be acceptable to him. “very well’ she said the form’s face giving a typical Kuvexian scowl at the delay.

The Faux Kuvexian named Bhorvoom split off from the computer team not too long after leaving the elevator. Having watched the Kuvexians in their natural environment now, he took in as much data as he could on their language and customs as the pair made their way to the cargo hold. Bhorvoom would occasionally stop when Narumi's movements started to look more like someone much taller than a Kuvexian. Using the cover of conversations of commerce and why she needed to remember stock better, he instructed her via secure means on how to correct her disguise subtlety.

As he was making such a "conversation", the two entered their targetted location and started looking for their cargo containers.

"Now, where did they deposit my merchandise? You better have packed it correctly or you are not eating or watching your hobby today." Bhorvoom said, loud enough for a Neko's ears to pick up, but not too loud to annoy anyone.

William stared down the attendant, then finally relaxed as they got the show on the road. He gingerly took the items that were handed to him as the kuvexian continued to talk to Rei, Aiko, and Saya. Appearing to back down with a submissive look at Rei, he lowered his slightly and stayed silent this time. Yet his anger was starting to get the best of him again. 'Not now...' He thought silently.

He retreated into himself once more, this time focusing on Saya. He created a link to her with his mindware and began transmitting to her. "Saya I am gonna wring this scrawny thing's neck..." He thought, his jaw tensing slightly as he ground his teeth in frustration. His head was still down, looking at the towels like a good slave. Yet, the Nepleslian was seething. William didn't know who else to reach out to in that moment, but he couldn't trouble Aiko and Rei with this while they were doing... Well to be honest he wasn't sure what the hell they were doing, he just kept following along after them.

Pumping those thicc cheeks towards the bridge

Lights began dimming around Wyatt as the Minkan sprinted quietly down the empty hallways, lights beginning to dim around him slightly though he did not break pace in the slightest - all those hours upon hours upon hours of honing his synthetic body paying off, each stride long and purposeful as a hand on his holster kept the pistol within from jostling around too much though his natural assets may have done so instead.

It was an odd feeling, the hallways and rooms usually so full of life suddenly as barren as the void outside her hull, still not breaking stride the knife-eared lad crested into the bridge and slowed his gait, taking a few deep breaths before speaking - not a bead of sweat present on his brow despite just having run the ship's length in what the records may prove to be a new best time.

"The majority of the ship's on-board crew just went offline and I was alerted to the fact power is being diverted, so I ask, what may I do to help - Belmont-Taii?" Wyatt requested in an authoritative though flat tone as he moved towards a series of now-empty stations and turned to face Alastair, black panel on his chest telling the Belmont exactly why he hadn't asked what had transpired.

Aiko slipped her NSP into the satchel she was given while she still had time, making the transfer beneath the combination of volumetric and real cloth robes she wore that made her Kuvexian cover convincing. Her hand would emerge from the bag with that jar of slugs, which she opened and began applying to her volumetric jewelry. They felt odd, squirming around on the bare skin of her fingers and forearms where the disguise's rings and cuffs sat. Her skin really crawled, though, when she wrapped a couple of the longer creatures around her chest, shoulders, and back, to cover where those five gold necklaces apparently lay across her costume's blue body.

When the group and their attendants came to a stop in the humid trial chamber, she began to casually disrobe while waiting for further instructions — it seemed pretty obvious to her what they would be required to do — letting the midnight blue scraps of real clothing fall to the damp floor alongside where her volumetric clothes would seem to be. She saved the last item, some Kuvexian undergarment that amounted a sheer wrap of black linen that lay closest to her real body, to ensure that her clothes seemed real enough, and tossed it at William's general direction to be caught by his imposing form.

Although she felt the act was a little cruel and disliked treating her friend poorly, it seemed like something a Kuvexian would do to a slave in their service. At least Nekovalkyrja smelled nice.

"Sorry!" Aiko shot telepathically to the Nepleslian, uncharacteristically apologizing for something she felt needed to be done. "This disrespect is for the acting required of us now, I swear it."

One last Boran slug was finally placed about an inch below Aiko's belly button. The volumetric projection was pierced there and adorned with a diamond-shaped blue gem that glowed teal like the bio-luminescent markings on its face. It made the real Ketsurui princess underneath stand up straighter and more on the balls of her feet when it attached, but she was confident she could handle the gooey organisms' presence for as long as she needed to.

"It would be impossible for every trial to be conducted as expediently as we are accustomed to, no?" Aiko's Kuvexian asked to the disguised Rei as she lifted her finger from where it was pressing the slug into her tummy. Intelligence reports suggested that Kuvexians might respond to such jabs, so she hoped saying anything would both hurry things along and maybe prompt the attendants to fill in the blanks for when the Yamataians really didn't know how to proceed.

"I suppose we will enter when they are ready."
