"I would say everything is in working order!" Nana mused with a small, forced chuckle, assured that everything she'd put in place would be good to go. She hid her weariness behind a smile, though, stepping back to let Blueberry take a look at her work as she leaned against the wall nearest to the exit, a hand placed to her forehead.

"I hope everything works out.. I'm not sure how much more of this I can take." She had inadvertently allowed herself to think aloud, and gave a quick shake of her head, straightening up.

"...I see. Well, that's good, though I apologize for not helping. I had some ends of my own to take care of...and Blueberry, if you're not too tired, I may need your assistance later.

Since you love making people beautiful, I will need your help to disguise me, once it is determined what role I will play..."

Toshiro responded, casting a concerned eye on Nana due to her comment.

"Yes I see, thank you." Misaki nodded to Blackberry while she modified the plans a bit. "Make ready to get underway. Set course to the designated area and prepare to make contact with them as we make the border."

"Pineapple, see if you can requisition a stealth shuttle from the station, replace it with one of ours. We'll be coming back." She wasn't completely faithful that part of the plan would work, so she made a slight modification.

Kage-shosa, you're cleared to leave for Nepleslia as soon as you can conceal at least two MINDY in that ship of yours. Another for yourself if you can find a place for it. I'm assigning Kurosora-hei to you, as she is a competent soldier. Add another if needed. We'll be near Nepleslia, rendering assistance will be difficult with our escort but will stay a last resort. With that, orders went to Kim to see Kage-Shosa after adding another teleportation unit to her MINDY.

What she could hope is they would present Hanako somehow, but she knew nothing would be so simple. Orders went out to the other ships in the squadron to begin 'practice maneuvers' on the Yamatai side of the border. Orders went to the newest transfer request, since she had no time to interview if they got there before she left the XO decided that it would happen when the rescue ended and things had settled.

Her voice rang out through the ship, "All hands: we will be crossing into Nepleslia space with full escort under the cover of recovering some soul savior pods. Eat now if you have not we'll be departing as soon as possible. Duty assignments to follow."

Blackberry nodded silently, detaching the ship from the Star Fortress. Once they were free and in position, Blackberry called out, "Course set. Ready for CFS or hyperspace fold."

Pineapple parked T7 Telemachus on the Star Fortress and borrowed an old T2 "Kitty" stealth shuttle, parking in the shuttle bay next to the T4 Golden Apple.

Blueberry looked to Toshiro questioningly before leaving to return to her station in the medical center.

After recieving her orders, Hotaru boarded a T7 bound for Pisces station. Shortly thereafter, Hotaru was glad she had finally made it to the station. Getting clearance, she left the shuttle and went to a security desk. "Sumimasen," she said to the receptionist, "do you know if the YSS Eucharis is still docked and if so where may I find her?".

Nana caught Yaichiro's gaze and quickly placed a hand to her mouth. Swearing silently to herself, she shook her head with a soft chuckle, "E...excuse me." Recalling that the replacements to the generators were finished, she bowed her head and stepped just outside of Engineering, leaning against a nearby wall with her head hanging.

Yaichiro watched Nana move away, as well as Blueberry's confusion, and blinked...had he said something wrong? This thought was interrupted by Misaki's communication.

Will I be disguised as a salvager as originally stated, or will I be an IPG man? Also, I have concerns as to using the Mindies...or anything with an Aether generator which will show on sensors.

If it is activated, the Mindys' aether generators will be detected and our cover will be blown. Also, I am too tall for a Mindy.

As such, I would like to recommend that instead of the newest Mindies, we use Power Armor which are 'obsolete' by Star Army Standards which Civilian Salvagers or IPG operations could reasonably obtain, which are still comparable to modern Nepleslian armor. Older Mindies, Kylies, or perhaps an early Space-based Daisy.

"Here already?" Misaki replied to a message from the station. "Well, just stick her on a shuttle out to the ship, we're not docked and we'll be leaving soon enough but there is just a sliver of time left."

On the station, the receptionist gave Hotaru a bay number for a quick hop to the Eucharis. "They're about to leave, thank goodness. You should hurry."

Go as a 'salvager' we have some data on the IPG, but they might be waiting for a team that is not in a hastily disguised GLF.

Only if you can fit one with a teleportation pod, and before we make for Nepleslian space.I doubt it would be the only aether signature on planet, Kage-Shosa? You've been there, do you believe they'd even notice were she running through stealth? Put what you need on board for yourself, provided it's transatmospheric and would not draw extra attention. Once you and your infiltration team have disembarked we'll depart to retrieve the pods.

An exhausted yawn escaped Blackberry as she waited for the shuttle to dock. As she struggled to stay alert, she absently browsed Nepleslian border procedures.

The understaffed bridge hummed reassuringly around her and Misaki, various teal-colored readouts blinking all around. A closeup of the incoming shuttle filled the main screen.

Understood...I will bring a Mindy II for Kurosora-Hei and whoever will be our third. As for me, the only Star Army Power Armor I will physically fit in is the M6 "Daisy", and I do not see a multi-purpose trans atmospheric variant, nor a variant which is compatible with the teleporting pack.

Unless we have non-Star Army armors which meet your criteria, I will have to go without an armor. While I know the Super Phalanx used to work for me, is transatmospheric, and would be less suspicious if noticed in Nepleslia. However, it lacks teleporting capability.

As for having another person come along, what is the ETA for Yamamoto-Hei's arrival?

Lastly...I believe Nana-Hei is still distressed. While her expertise is necessary, it is my opinion that having her help gut the systems from her own home is making her status degrade.

Yaichiro sent to the acting CO. Meanwhile, he sent a message to Kurosora-Hei.

Kurosora-Hei, you've been assigned to me in an infiltration op. Please go to the medbay and back yourself up.

Roger that, Kage-shosa. Kim replied simply as she finished up her rations and headed for the med-bay to get a mental backup. On her way there, the redheaded soldier once again pondered what could happen if they were detected in Nepleslian space, and just what the hell they'd do in that case.

Kage-shosa? What's the orders if we're detected by Nepleslian forces, and eventually fired upon? Do we return fire, just jump the hell out of there? While it might not be her to question orders of her superiors, Kim was sure as hell one soldier who did not enjoy walking blindly into a potentially hostile situation without knowing what she was supposed to do if danger presented itself.

As long as you have one unit that can teleport her out, augmenting it with another stealth capable one for you as backup will be acceptable. Have you been assigning her to gut the Asamoya? I gave her no such task she was installing the new fusion kit under my orders until a bit ago. Hurry and disembark when ready, worry about what your orders are, not the rest of this ship and who is coming and going. Understood? Do anything to get her back, short of cratering a city. After that withdraw as stealthily as possible. We will remain on site once we track you leaving system to cover your retreat and not make it look too much of a coincidence.

She sent Kim a private thought, Good luck lover. I'd trade my place with you if I could.

"Is that newbie on board yet, Blackberry? Took her longer to get here than it did to come from Yamatai. When she arrives, please send her to a ready station, she can suit up and help the shuttle going out to collect pods." She wanted to do nothing more than yawn, but with everyone else being tired whenever the sensation came to her the officer suppressed it.

If that person were to arrive, I'd have taken them along, is why I asked. As for everything else, very well, Mistress Shosa.

After Kim's question, he responded.

We are to stealthily recover the Taisa by any means necessary, save for causing massive losses of life to the Nepleslian populace. If that is impossible...we will have to act as the situation requires.

You will be the one teleporting Hanako-Taisa should we encounter her. If you are able, then you will be recovering me afterward, since teleport packs have limitations on the mass they can transport at any given time, and since you seem to be the only Infantry person I will have access to. I will not give you the order I plan to give myself, but if I find myself in a situation I am unable to escape, I will self-terminate. We both have recent ST backups just in case.

Thanks, Misaki. I'll be back with Hanako-taisa and Kage-shosa before you know it. Kim replied to the XO-made-temporary-CO as she left the med-bay, her ST back-up done, and headed for the shuttle bay. While she disliked the thought of Yachiro self-terminating, and would do all she could to prevent a situation.

Roger that, Kage-shosa. Let's hope it won't come to that. I just wonder why the hell the Nepleslians are dumb enough to kidnap Hanako-taisa. Despite her dark train of thoughts, Kim couldn't help but grin. Sure, they'd try to avoid any form of confrontation, but the risk of combat was there, and the soldier was litterally made for battle, and she loved it.

"To feel pain is to be alive." Kim whispered to herself as she looked over at the shuttle as she clenched her hand around her pistol, a morbid grin on her lips.

Exiting the shuttle bay, Hotaru looked around for someone to report to. Not seeing anyone immediately stand out, she requested the Eucharis' AI to inform the bridge that she was now onboard and awaiting further orders.

Nana looked around slowly, finding the corridor to be empty. Everyone must have gotten started on the search, but what was she to do? Returning to Engineering, she sent Misaki a message -- the technician tended to fall into the background, after all, "I've finished replacing the generator. Am I to remain onboard and see to further maintenance or was there something else I was needed for, Kurusu-Shosa?"

"The new crew member is aboard. We are ready," Blackberry reported to Misaki. The ship hummed loudly as its FTL propulsion systems prepared to activate.

Yaichiro, after securing a Daisy and getting himself a somewhat reasonable disguise, hid the armors aboard the SS Thunderbolt. The ship had several well-built cavities designed to fool sensors into thinking it was solid space, as well as other ingenius defenses against being discovered.

Wearing civilian clothing, a different hairstyle of a less spikey nature, sunglasses, and bandages over the burns on his skin, he signalled for Kim to come aboard.

Mistress Shosa, I recommend staggering our departure times. It will appear less suspiscious, and it may be easier for us to get into Nepleslian territory if they have focused their resources on yourselves.

Thank you, Kage-Shosa your dedication is noted but I'm well aware of that fact. Misaki was already tired, and hearing an echo of her tactical outline nagged at her a bit. We're departing. Leave once we've left your vector with out escorts.

"Take us to meet our friends, Blackberry. Call the new crew member to the bridge." She double-checked to make sure Kim was with Kage, then relaxed in her seat for a moment. It wouldn't take them long to reach the border, she hoped their escorts wouldn't be too stringent.

"You'll remain on board to help with the SS pod retrieval, until this operation concludes at least." The XO replied to Nana.

Being informed that she was to report to the bridge, Hotaru began to make her way there after briefly stowing her baggage.

She halted just before reaching the bridge to compose herself prior to heading onto the bridge. She bowed and said "Yamamoto-Hei reporting as ordered Shosa," before bowing again.
