Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Tsuya bowed to Kyou as she appeared, but her lips quirked in slight confusion at Masako's words. She leaned closer to the warrant officer and murmured into her ear.

"...Kurohoshi-juni, if you are sending Gunshin-hei to collect everyone else, what are you and I going to do?"

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Miyoko glanced to Yukari, hoping that the woman's presence might give her a chance of escaping Sanjuro. But, she had no such luck. Already, she could see Yukari's back as the woman left the room. "Saito-Heisho," she corrected Sanjuro for what felt like the ten-thousandth time. "And I'll need to get my own backup and then start setting up on the bridge, so I don't have that much time."

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

"I see," Sanjuro stated placidly, his eyes narrowing every so slightly.

The medical officer did not use telepathic communication as often as other might; he preferred the face-to-face interaction, mostly for its personal touch as well as practice for his troublesome condition. However, in this case, Sanjuro relented as he sent for Susuka-Shosa. "I beg your pardon, Shosa, but I request the assistance of Saito-Heisho for the ST transfers. I have assigned for Ayumu-Hei to handle transfers in the secondary medical bay, and with Azumi-Hei assisting her I am sure they will be able to handle the work. This leaves me, however, at a slight disadvantage. I would prefer to have her assistance to make sure all crew members receive their ST transfers in the allotted time. She has informed me of her work on the bridge; I will personally make sure she is there as soon as possible."

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

"Quickly, Heisho," Yukari replied to the medical officer. "You have half an hour with her, before I will require her on the bridge."

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Sanjuro nodded once with Suzuka's reply, turning his attention back to Miyoko's less-than-enthusiastic stare. "The Shosa has allowed you to assist me. I have you for thirty minutes. And I intend to make them count. Now..." the medical officer's monotonous voice trailed off as he gestured lightly towards the exit, his eyes continuing to bore at Miyoko as he awaited her answer.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

"It will be some time before our operation begins. No sense running around naked for the time being. In this case a simple uniform will do." Nyton replied, grateful for his enthusiasm. After seeing such lack of spirit from several soldiers this eagerness for combat was refreshing.

"After you get something to wear I need you to report to Kurohoshi-Juni. She is our current Armor wing leader now. Get yourself an Armor lined up and a weapons layout setup. I will send her word of the situation and clear you for combat." Nyton said with a half smile.

With that said he quickly began to type a short message to Masako.

Code:
The situation is a little strange but Westwood-Hei has been added to our roster. I am sending him to you. He needs an Armor and weapons. Please see to his needs and assign him to your wing.

Nyton then nodded and sent the message. "Well then, Hinoto-san. Think you can come up with a reason why our ST device decided we needed to bring Westwood into our fold?" he asked while looking at the pale little sprite.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Hinoto returned a helpless shrug. "The instruction came through Hoshi, but it was not initiated there. I don't want to point fingers, but only Miharu's Integrated Electronic Suite has the administrative priviledges to do that."

With that said the white-haired sprite then asked: "Sir, as the mission control specialist, I was wondering if it would be a good idea for me to join Kurohoshi-Juni's gathering to make recommendations for the gear they will use for this operation given the intelligence we have."

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

"That is a fine suggestion. Thank you for all your support for the Armor teams. Do not forget to have an ST done for yourself as well. I apologize for pulling you out of the line when I did but I did not want to discuss this in public." Nyton replied easily before resuming a serious expression.

"Lets keep this matter under wraps for now. What you said confirms my suspicions so I have a good idea about how this happened. We're too close to the mission to start getting embroiled in the details. For now we have a good soldier amongst us and that is all that matters." he explained.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Leaving Kyou to do what she needed to do, Masako waved Tsuya to follow her. "We'll head to the Armor Bay of course," Masako replied with a smile. "Though, I also wanted to ask how you were feeling. Are you still scared?" she asked moments before her Communicator buzzed. Pulling it out, the young Warrant Officer opened up the text message.

Nyton said:
The situation is a little strange but Westwood-Hei has been added to our roster. I am sending him to you. He needs an Armor and weapons. Please see to his needs and assign him to your wing.

Stopping mid-step in the corridor, the small Neko stared at the message with a dumbfounded expression. How in the hell did Asher get back on board!? Wasn't he training pilots? A sudden, exasperated sigh erupted from her lips as she placed her palm upon her forehead. "Just what I need," she mumbled.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Asher nodded to Nyton, giving him a firm salute. With that done, he relaxed his stance again as Hinoto and Nyton began to exchange pleasantries. The Santo Hei looked around the room, awaiting his uniform. At the moment, his thoughts veered away from combat, but to keep them from veering on something depressing, he turned them to something more attractive.

There wasn't much to see, though, Hinoto seemed to be best looking amongst everyone around at the moment. His eyes scanned her up and down, taking in her figure.

"For now we have a good soldier amongst us and that is all that matters."

In that second, Asher was brought back to reality.

"Ah! Yessiree'." Agreed the Santo Hei, waiting patiently on his uniform.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

The sprite Nyton had sent to fetch a new uniform chimed at the door, and Hinoto opened the door for her.

The errand girl approached Asher, noticed a peculiar phenomenon going on between his legs, blushed beet red and decided to toss the uniform on the bed before beating a hasty retreat.

Quite possibly the most frightening words Miyoko had ever heard in her entire life. Still, if Yukari had said that Sanjuro could have her assistance for the next half-hour, there wasn't much she could do about it. "I'm sure the time will fly." Gritting her teeth, Miyoko turned to follow Sanjuro to the medbay.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Tsuya followed Masako, tucking her hands into her uniform pockets as they went. "I am not... scared, as such, no. I am more... unhappy about what I could lose, but I am keeping that deep inside me so it will not conflict with my duty." Just as she finished talking, Masako's communicator went off, and she watched the warrant officer as she read the message. It must not have been very pleasant, but the expression on her face certainly was.

As she looked at the wing commander, Tsuya was suddenly struck with a hard pang. If she is lost in the battle... It was as though her time on the ship was flashing before her eyes. Masako had been there for her the whole time, and was a skilled and just commander - the very model of a modern neko. She knew what she must do.

Now or never, the young pilot thought as she stepped closer in, missing Masako's mumble as she took the woman's cheeks in her hands and kissed her softly.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

With little shame, he dropped his towel and began to put on his uniform. The feel of it against his skin was somewhat refreshing, almost as if he were equipping an armor. The fact that he was wearing clothes for the first time could have been something that played into it.

"Alright, I'm out." He bowed to both Hinoto and Nyton, and left the room to find Masako.

No, it was something else. The uniform was more than just a piece of clothing, it was a marking symbol to him. Wearing the uniform of Yamatai seemed to instill a fit of pride within his heart. Thinking a little further, he imagined how proud his mother would be to see him like he is now.

Yet, that also brought on the aspect that even if he survived, he'd probably never see her again since he wasn't exactly original. That thought forced him stop one second, and rub his face. The Hei was feeling himself tear up at the thought of having no chance of making amends of the way he left them last time. With that thought, he was unsure if his original-self may have taken care of that, he hoped that he had.

"Can't have that." He thought aloud, scratching his head. He spent a moment, trying to figure a way to clear his mind. Pictures of Hinoto's uniformed breast and bottom entered his mind, lifting the foggy veil in his mind.

There we go... thought the Yamataian man, grinning as he continued his walk down to the Armory.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Yuzuki, who had followed Kotori-Taisa along while she talked with Nakamura-Hei, folded her hands behind her back when the Taisa addressed her again. She was nervous and it was obvious. A few stray strands of hair, too short to stay but too long to ignore, snuck out from behind her ear, but she didn’t push them back.

Talking to the Taisa was not how she thought it was going to be. As much as she knew of the Taisa, the hard eyes and quiet expression were an impenetrable mask of officerly aloofness. She had not expected the Taisa to smile.

“Forgive me, Taisa-san, I didn‘t mean to bother you.”

She finally met the Taisa's eyes.

“Thank you.”

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Puzzlement briefly flashed in Kotori's amber-irised eyes, but it quickly vanished and the black-haired nekovalkyrja answered with a nod. "You are very welcome, Yuzuki."

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Yuzuki bowed low again, hands at her sides.

"I am very grateful to be a part of your crew."

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

"I am blessed in turn by having hard-working sprites like you help me shoulder the weight of this mission," Kotori returned gently. She raised one of her white gloved hands, lightly caressing Yuzuki's cheek. "I know I can keep counting on you."

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

After allowing Miyoko to leave the room first in common courtesy, the doctor immediately brushed ahead of her and took the lead, setting a brisk pace towards the medical bay. "Well, you're looking well rested," Sanjuro inquired, his face obscured but no doubt the same as it always was.

Re: Mission 5: Amaya's Gate

Suddenly, warms hands were upon her cheeks. Removing her hand from her forehead, the small Warrant Officer looked up at a gray-toned face with a very odd expression. Well, it looked odd to a Warrant Officer who had never been kissed before. "Eh?" was all that could escape her lips as the young Masako found herself locking lips with a subordinate.

Now this was something completely different. Void-black eyes widened in surprise as Masako stood there. Confusion froze her body, which was also something different, and the raven-haired Neko blinked at Tsuya incredulously. The kiss felt like it took longer than it should have and as their soft lips parted ways Masako found her jaw to be quite slack.

"Yamada-hei," the Warrant officer both murmured and stammered the name out, her eyes drifting between pale green eyes and the theiving lips that stole the elder Neko's first kiss. Swallowing hard, it was hard for Masako not to blush at her subordinates boldness as confusion gave way to embarrassment. The small Neko's blood started to turn her cream-toned cheeks a pink hue as she silently tried to process what had happened at that moment.
