Receiving the communication from Sune, Yaichiro gave a light sigh, and turned to the others.

"Well, seems our orders are to clean up and relax for now. Let's let Second Dock handle things for the moment -- we con continue discussing things tomorrow perhaps."

Yaichiro started to make sure the stations were clear and clean for the next day as he checked with Charisma to see if he'd yet been assigned a place to sleep. Charisma indicated that Stateroom One had been assigned to him, which he found to be an interesting arrangement as he wasn't the XO. He was, however, the second highest officer on the ship, so it wasn't entirely unexpected. Whether he felt he deserved it was another matter entirely.

Takeyu let out a sigh of uncertaincy and glanced up at the ceiling. "Somethign tells me the cabin I'm using is going to be a mess," he said and walked over to the door, stopping just short he turned toward the Shosa and the Heisho and was baout to say something but stopped before he did.

He wondered if it was proper to ask, him being just a lowly Hei and the two here being ranking officers. Was it proper for someone of his rank to ask? He thought for a few moments, and decided to just try it anyway. "Heisho, Shosa, would either of you be interested in going dockside and eating at one of the restaurants? I know we have food here, but something hot and refreshing would be a nice change," a slight smile creased his face as he asked.

Junko opened her mouth to refuse – her standard reaction when faced with non-optional social invitations – but promptly slammed it shut. She had her problems, but she wasn’t entirely powerless when it came to her dysfunctions. At the very least, she couldn’t justify alienating herself even more, not when she had just noted her distance from her shipmates herself so recently. Reason prevailing over instinct, she made eye-contact with Takeyu and smiled, if a little weakly.

“Um… Sure. That would make for an improvement over emergency rations. I think I would like to get out of this suit and clean up a little first, though,” she said, glancing down at the AMES, which she had been wearing, aside from a brief jaunt in a medical smock, since coming out of the healing tube in medical.

Yaichiro nodded in agreement. His sense of taste didn't particularly prefer many things over rations -- at least not many things that were acceptable to eat in public. Still; it would probably be the last bit of rest and relaxation he'd have in a good, long, while.

"I've got no problem coming along. I need to get out of this suit as well, of course, so I'll take my leave for a moment." Engineering was ready for the next shift, whenever it'd go on duty, and Yaichiro started walking toward Stateroom One to change.

"Very well, then if it's alright with the two of you we can meet dockside and then figure out a restaurant to eat at," Takeyu smiled innocently and walked out of engineering. His suit was beginning to reek, and he knew he had to change out of it or else he'd be unable to even stand being around himself.

Like he had expected; the cabin he was using was a mess. He sighed frustratingly, though he didn't mind messes and such, as he was never too concerned about being organized - he preferred 'his' way of organizing, not the Mishu way, which was to put holes in the ship and cause everything to be thrown out of their places. In this case, the cabin was almost a complete mess, with books strewn about and the chair upside down against the lockers.

He started to pick a few things up, a book here, a box there, even fixed the chair a bit by moving it back to where it belonged - but he realized that he'd have to continue later.

Opening up the closest, he found his work uniform still on the rack. He pulled it off, and then slid out of his AMIS and undressed.

Putting on a clean work uniform made him feel a bit better; though he would feel even more once he took a shower. "I doubt the Eucharis is in a position to allow a shower, guess I'll use dockside for that..." he said and finished putting his boots on.

Before leaving; he asked Charisma if there was any mail for him, and was informed that he had one. It was an audio message and Charisma played it; he recognized the voice right away. "So, he's still around, glad to hear that," he smiled and leaned up against the wall.

The message continued; and his mood changed from being somewhat neutral, to being disappointed when he heard that the man couldn't accomplish what he had requested, but he was glad the ship in question wasn't that far from where it had been left, derelict and floating aimless. "Sakura..." he muttered the name and then sighed again in frustration. ”To bad I lack the resources to be able to look into this myself, there has to be something I can do...." he rubbed his chin thoughtfully before asking Charisma to dump the message onto a pad, he intended to repeat the message later in case he messed anything. With that done, he slid the pad into the inner part of his outfit.

Taking one last look around the cabin; he headed out to meet with the Heisho and Shosa.

Sune checked with the dock on the progress of the Nepleslian vessel.

"Our guests are en-route, and have two drones deployed presumably to clear a path. So Taisa, how do you want to play this. Meet them when they dock, or you wait in the Wardroom, and I will escort them there. Also have you given any thought as to how many personnel they may have present. I will make arrangements with Taii Akita Yukie, regarding security arrangements for any additional personnel they bring." He said to Hanako.

Junko followed behind Toshiro and Takeyu, swiftly entering her cabin and shedding her suit. She felt dirty from all of her time in the AMES but the feeling was far more extreme than the reality of her personal hygiene. Still, she took a moment to luxuriate in the sensation of the clean duty uniform as she pulled it on. Clipping her belt around her waist, she ran a hand through her hair, pulling it back into a pony-tail, before turning about and opening the cabin’s hatch.

A moment later she exited the Eucharis and paused to take a deep breath. Just being off of the ship let her relax and, for the moment, set aside her worries about all of the repairs that needed to be done. She shook her head, dispelling the reverie, and then set off again, looking around for her colleagues. A moment later she spotted Takeyu and strode over to him. “Nayacesan-Hei,” she said in greeting, turning her head to glance over her shoulder. “No sign of the Shosa yet?”

"Not as of yet Heisho, but I'm sure he's coming," Takeyu said and looked over at the Eucharis. He then look around the dock and had to marvel at the enginuity that was behind this. He had to wonder what would happen if a race of people who didn't even have the ability to leave their planet would say if they saw something as magnificent at this.

Yaichiro appeared shortly, dressed in the new uniform that he'd been supplied with when he came to the Eucharis. He seemed to be unaccustomed to it, even more so than someone just out of Basic. After all, today was the first time he wore any of this type -- before that he wore YE 29/30 Accurate Type 22 Uniforms. He hadn't worn red panels in years, so it was at least a little nostalgic in that way at least. He noticed the pair waiting on him, and walked over to them.

"Sorry about being last. You haven't been waiting too long, have you? Anyway, where do you two wish to go?"

Embarassed, Takeyu looked away from the two and then toward the exit out of the docking area. "I'm afraid I still don't know this station like I should, being that it's only my third time actually being here. Do either of you have any recommendations for places to eat?" he turned and asked them.

"I can meet them when they board," Hanako told Sune. "If you would, please send them a request asking the details of their negotiating party...specifically numbers and species and any special accommodations needed."

Sune quickly composed a message to request the necessary information. After checking the tone and accuracy, he had the message transmitted by the Ikoi comm system.

"Taisa, do have any additional information about what this group wishes to negotiate about? I mean, it seems strange that they would come out here to a negotiate. Would it not be more logical that they send Diplomats to meet with the Empress back on Yamatai if its a political negotiation? I do not mean any disrespect ma'am, but I am uncertain exactly what authority a Ketsurui Princess carries. I suspect a great deal. But it is beyond my direct experience." Sune said to Hanako while waiting for a reply.

Hanako made her way to the shuttle bay where their Nepleslian guests would land. "Presumably this is in reference to a military treaty that allows us to combine forces against the NMX invasions. Wazu is a trickster and a genius. We should be careful not to promise anything we cannot or should not deliver on."

Junko shrugged. “I haven’t spent much time in an Ikoi before, but if I recall correctly there’s both a wardroom and a larger mess. And for that matter there’s a commissary if we wanted to make something ourselves. I honestly don’t have a preference,” she said, arching her back in a stretch. She straightened back up, frowning briefly as she thought. “Actually, we might want to check where the diplomatic talks are occurring. I wouldn’t really want to get in the way, in the event that they’re going to be in the wardroom or mess.”

Yaichiro thought for a while, before accessing 2nd Dock's internal directory and checking out the possible options.

" 'Sam's Island is a pristine bar known for its huge wine and rum selection, island-themed decor, coconut shrimp, and hibachi grill shows.

The Admiral's Grill, a steakhouse known for its Nepleslian bourbon and delicious fillet mignon.'

Those are entries I've found listed here as eating establishments. We can have normal food, Nepleslian food, or seafood -- if you guys can stand to look at another hibachi this soon."

Yaichiro was half-joking as he debated where to go with the others, and wondered if the Nepleslians would eat normally, or want to reserve The Admiral's Grill.

With the Eurcharis securely docked in the station and the repairs were commencing, Nika sighed as she got off weakly from the seat. Seriously needed a good rest, she made her way to her cabin, which was pretty much intact, much to her amazement as the temptation of the bunk bed drew her tired body towarded it...

Takeyu rubbed his chin thoughtfully after hearing Yaishiro mention the name of the places they could eat at. He wasn't certain which to choose, all three sounded appeasing to him.

"Sam's Island sound's like a good place, considering what we've been through, some wine or perhaps rum might be a good idea - ahh but then again we are on duty tomorrow, so not a good idea," he rubbed his chin thoughtfully before continuing, "oh well the shrimp and grill still sounds appeasing, is that alright with the two of you?" he half smiled and asked. If it wasn't for the repair work, he'd probably indulge himself, but he knew better.

"The seafood sounds fine, and I don't drink alcohol anyway. Never touched the stuff. I don't mind others drinking if they're responsible, but I agree it might not be the best time for you to do so." The Shosa said, not believing in drinking for himself..

"That and the fact that the Mishhu once waited until the bulk of my comrades were hung over from a New Year's celebration to attack. I had to commandeer quite a few ships to help mobilize a defense because so many officers were incapacitated." His expression looked a bit irritated, more at the memory than the thought of drink.

"Hmm... sound's like something we would rather not happen, the Mishu are already a pain in the rear, the last thing we need is to give them another shot at catching us with our pants down, perhaps there's a lesson there - it doesn't matter if there's a celebration or not, or a holiday, you have to stay on your toes or the enemy may take advantage of you," he said, recalling some of the old stories he had heard on the outer rim.

He tapped his chin and looked over at Junko, "Is that alright with you Heisho?"

A shuttle dispatched from the recently arrived C3E cruiser from Nepleslia’s 4th fleet was heading toward the ikoi class starbase. Onboard was a small Nepleslian diplomatic team that had given little information as to why they were there other than ‘diplomacy’ and the need for a clean environment and a very sturdy chair.

As the shuttle approached it would open a communication channel to the starbase, requesting docking instructions.
