Hangar 2

As Mat led Jamba back into the hangar, He scanned the room for threats, popping a few shots of plasma into what looked like inactive turrets and security cameras. Wouldn't want anyone watching us or shooting at us now would we. He looked through the crates, and selected what looked like several containers full of munitions and weapons. Those looked... explosive. And certain to bring the enemy running in, away from the SOFT team and their mission.

He spoke over the comms to everyone who had boarded the station. "Hey everyone, what say we make the SOFT team's mission a little easier. I've got eyes on a few crates of munitions, and setting them off is sure to bring the enemy running."

He paused for a moment. "If we move around some of these cargo containers we can set up fortifications before we draw the enemy troops out, and turn these hangars into a kill zone."

Hanger 3 - Corridor

Sacre was slicing through the L'Kor who were in reach with her Aether Saber in the hallway beyond the hanger. She moved quickly from target to target, slicing them quickly and efficiently with medical precision. She had turned right to assault hanger four, which had not yet been attacked. However, there were people in hanger five. That meant that unless they took hanger four, hanger five would be easier to overrun. However, she had not quite reached it.

She disagreed with Mat's analysis, their assault had probably already sent everyone on the station running. However, Mat was a Joto, so it wasn't her job to argue. She fired her shoulder mounted 20mm, three to punch through the wall, then a second high explosive round through that hole into Hanger four. Hopefully that would give them second thoughts about trying to flank hangers three and five through hanger four.

She moved back into hanger three, glad that at the least, hanger five had a medic. "Start moving those containers into position, carrying heavy things shouldn't be too hard for a dumb ape like you." She moved over to the wall that separated hanger three and two. She cut a large circular hole in it and poked her head inside. "Just incase you idiots decide to get wounded." Then she joined in moving containers to make the wrecked hangers into a good killzone.

Miko having pulled himself out of the container and took a moment to get a lay out on everything seen all the work Sacre had put in. He was impressed at how well she was at battle tactics and prep to control enemy movements.

He yelled back at Sacre, "Is no monkeying around when you are around." He dropped his shoulder and pushed one of the cargo containers to give cover from the door coming into the hanger. "Can do boss, dumb ape doing the heavy lifting."

Miko again pushed a container to give more cover, this time from the hanger bay door. He walked over to the door into the hanger and slapped some explosives above it. He check his logs and figured best to get some kills on the board. He moved his gun around the corner of the door, keeping his body inside the hanger. He had one of the drones pop into the hallway to give him targeting data. Was like shooting fish in a barrel as he put rounds down the hallway to kill off L'Kor trying to bunk down outside the other hangs.

Hoshi looked over to Saki with a look of concern on her pink face as she said, "Focus on the away team and their mission right now and let the pilot and gunner focus on the main weapon tactics."

Hangar 1

As Jamba tore through hangars it became apparent the walls were thin and the shooting of some hastily-drawn side pistols and the occasional rifle as those being attacked began to fight back on their way to their ships.

Hangar 3

Miko and Sacre would have to work out their differences as Muyomi followed close behind the pair. She called out to them as she watched the hole being cut in between hangars, "Is it authorized by Kokoro-hei to go beyond the hangars?" This was one of the only hangars that the Kaiyō away tea had infiltrated that was relatively clear of people working or running to their ships or power armors.

Hangar 4

The hangar Wil had chosen was filled with power armors. Racks upon racks and in the center, a top of the line fighter. A lone fighter pilot was running to the small vessel and ten others ran to the power armors on the rack, two of which had already been donned.

Hangar 5

While Miles and Walter helped one another, Madoka came in after them. She roared through the enemies as they ran to their ships like Walter with his aether cannons and Miles with his lethal fire. A few ten people were left that were not in the ship as it began undocking and taking off.

Hangar 7

With her aether gattling she was able to take down a grouping of pilots in this supposed fighter hangar. She ground the bird up until they were just decimated. Her shoulder check did damage to the unarmored L'Kor. Interestingly there wasn't much blood but many L'Kor were dead or dying. None of them had power armor on hand in this bay. Some did get into their fighters and were heading out of the bay, though.

Hanger 4

At first, yoshida waited. More of a hesitation really, allowing the others to assault before her to see where they went. Certainly if one went alone they'd need assistance. And of course, inevitabely one found themselves alone- William. So, she entered in style, loud and obvious as per the usual. Skidding along the ground on her back and sparks flying, she let loose a spray of aether fire as she wound the aether gattling gun up. Quickly analyzing the situation, she had the mindy pick out targets based on when they would reach their respective destinations and fired accordingly, attempting to dismantle the armors while more potential threats were readying up would certainly not be an option for her- or for william for that matter! But togehter, perhaps... "Will! Kill the cans!"

In response to Muyomi's message, yoshida decided to send out a quick telepathic message "Relocate as you see fit- unless specified otherwise! And watch that friendly fire! You're professionals right!?" Keeping track of various positions the others had, and their situations was already giving her a headache. She hoped she wasn't over burdening herself there with all that on top of tracking individual's speeds and destinations.

Walter Hyde grinned and twirled his weapon in one hand. A Neko arrived at the scene; Madoka. There she goes, giving it her all, in a brutal and beautiful way. We are going to need to do the same thing if either us were to amount to anything!

He turned his head to Miles, with the only deciding factor of his internal transformation being the bravado in his voice, not too different from Miles's own brother. "Let us not stay any longer, for we have a day to seize!", he exclaimed. "Don't you think I won't return the helping hand if needed!"

With that, Walter's Mindy 4 pulsed with vigor, and he charged in, firing a mess of Aether from his Cannons and his Saber-Rifle as he flew forward. If the Minkan was to be perfectly honest, it was like he was living his bad fanfictions; while predictable, it felt good to him! He downed down a few L'Kor on the side, but he was making a bee-line to the ship that was undocking and taking off.

He intends to go in there and sink it; and he has the know-how to do it.

Hangar 5

Miles chuckled inwardly at the remark made by Walter before also setting his sights on the ship trying to flee while his HUD tracked several other L'Kor scurrying around the hangar. "Hyde-hei I'm going for engines, check your postioning wouldn't want to cause your injury myself."
Letting loose a string of shots at the ship careful to avoid firing close to the engineer, a few shots narrowly missed hitting him in the head and Miles turned to return fire towards the origen moving behind a box of munitions intended to refill a spacecraft for cover.
Watching Madoka tear through the L'Kor had him in awe and got him in the mood to also up his game so he was actually contributing to the team effort.

Space

Seeing the huge mass of metal and fur blast off at a scary high speed, Abart triggered the Mindy's onboard warp module to zip inside through the opened hangar door.

L'kor Station
Hangar 1

A loud metallic 'thunk' sound could be heard throughout the hangar as the armorclad snake set down on top of the hangar floor, scanning his surroundings along the sights of his trusty 'ol LASR. As he looked over to his left side, the massive Kodian cannonball came soaring by, missing him fy just a foot or two. for a few seconds the snakeman stood there, taken aback in shock or surprise or what have you. "....wha........"

Only a moment later, he looked over at the huge hole in the hangar wall, the size of exactly one adult Kodian plus some armor. Wrom the cavity in the wrought, metallic surface, Mat emerged, along with Jamba, looking pretty much unscathed. With no real words to say, he just went with the cliché line at this point. "Y...you alright there Ersus....?"

Breifly having forgotten about the room sweep, he slithered over to their general direction, slightly worried. Even at such a size, a firm landing lik that's gotta leave a bruise for sure...

Hmm, not exactly the glorious battle they put on the videos back home. Didn't take a genius to figure out these birds weren't ready for boarders. In fact, they looked ready to take the fight to the Kaiyo itself. Also, she could officially confirm that Yamatai's birds were much better looking than the Kuvexians birds.

She brought her gatty up and fired at the nearest row of fighter craft. She wasn't too familiar with L'Kor ships, but some things had to be universal. Idea was if she took out fuel lines, propulsion or the cockpit itself they couldn't make them fly even if they were largely intact. So that was precisely the sort of thing she aimed for, using her shoulder pulse cannon to hammer whatever her ae-gatty managed to shred open.

Hangar 3

Miko was clearing out the hanger of both people and blowing up ships to ensure the bad guy will not be using anything in this hanger.

Miko looked over to Muyomi, "Negative on that, have been told to just storm many hangers. So feel free to help clear the bay out." The one drone in the hall way continues to blap L'Kor that come into the hall way. The other 3 are blasting ships and power armors while Miko moves more containers to give cover.

Hangar 4

William was deciding which one target he was going to attack when Yoshida came skidding into the hanger. As he heard his orders, he nodded once more. "Copy. Engaging targets." He replied activating his blades, the Kaiyo blade glowing with aether and his normal sword began to glow red hot.

He flew forwards, aiming towards the enemies who had already got into their PAs. He fired his forearm cannons at the armors and once he got close enough he slashed his massive Kaiyo blade towards the PA's neck and he continued to fire his other forearm cannon at other targets.

Hanger 3/4

Sacre for her part flew over to the other side of the Hanger and started to make the same adjustments for a large hole that would allow her to pass easily between hangers as needed. Seeing that they were still engaged, she brought her SMG up and fired at the unarmored L'Kor. At the moment, they needed to secure the hangers. Hanger three was locked down by Miko, freeing Sacre to help by firing into the resistance in bay four. Hopefully, in a few moments the hangers would be secure and they could advance deeper into the station to take the bridge and engineering.

Hangar 1

While the Kodian got out of his daze of havoc, Abart sidled up and asked him how he was. While he did so, an unarmored L'Kor took shots at the two.

Hangar 3

Miko was clearing the hangar easily and with the grace of a chef he downed opponents. Muyomi nodded and started jogging out of the hangar.

Hangar 4

Muyomi entered the hangar and began ducking and shooting immediately upon surveying the situation over team visuals.

"How's it going in here, guys?" she said as she shot out at an armored L'Kor running to her.

Hangar 5

Walter got himself closer to the ship undocking in the hangar he was and could notice that the face of the L'Kor that was last to get in was exceedingly nervous and worried. The look of panic was gone in a moment, though, after the ramp had closed on the mid-sized gunship. The ship began to move out of the hangar and Walter and Miles would need to work together to down it completely; sole shots against the shielded hull would work over time, but if they had that time they didn't need to find out.

Hangar 7

As she brought her gattling gun to fire on the L'Kor's fighter craft in neat rows and they began to blow one after another. There was a fiery explosion during each one. The craft were easy picking while they were powered down and shields were off. The shoulder pulse cannons then came alive as she shot out at the moving targets of fighters as they took off from the hangar.

Two fighters crashed into each others in the confusion and another explosion erupted, covering a good portion of the Neko's visual feed from her Mindy. A lone duo managed to escape her torment in the confusion and chaos she was causing and left the hangar. An unarmored straggler was left scrambling in the hangar.

Hangar 7

"Kaiyo! This is Karasawa-Hei! Two bogeys out of hanger seven!" Karasawa reported. Took a parting shot, but she didn't expect it to do much. When fighters got moving, they got moving. More about the principle of the thing at that point.

Speaking of points.

Unarmored L'Kor, didn't see a weapon. No real threat, and she didn't like the idea of killing someone who couldn't fight back. She'd pounce on the bird and bring her heel down on its knees, though. Idea was, she could cripple it for the moment and truss it up for a proper retrieval.

And if that worked, or worked itself out:

"Hangar seven is a burning wreck. Anyone need some firepower?"

Hangar 2

Mat finished setting up the fortifications, having moved the many containers around to create two bottlenecks, one at each entrance to the hangar that he could find. These bottlenecks led into a kill zone, which was essentially four large walls of containers stacked high to trap the enemies inside.

He took a position behind one of the walls, and radioed to the rest of the infantry.

"I've set up fortifications in hangar 2, let's get dug in before we try and bring any more of the enemy running."

YSS Kaiyo II

"I see them! Targets are locked." The smol's voice echoed back to Karasawa, a blast of antimatter being sent from one of the Kaiyo II's larger cannons in a manner not unlike a potshot-though if the munition hit, there was almost no chance of the fighter surviving unless they had overcharged their shielding. Somehow.

Arbles kept her focus on the larger enemy ship for the time being- it had been disabled somehow, but it still was coming closer. Arbles muttered to herself, "Time to split again..."

Mass drivers, back to the large target. Aether cannons, there's the fighters to handle. Quad cannons four through nine, track the fighters in case the launch torpedoes. Aether array... leave that to Miss Kyoi.

It was quite beautiful, actually-the Kaiyo's deadly fireworks display being projected in two directions strongly, the heavy mass drivers slamming into the hull of the disabled ship over and over again, the enemy's shielding flashing weaker and weaker before the violent reactions of matter and antimatter tore firey gashes into its armor and hull. The fighters which had launched were currently just far enough to barely dodge the initial shots-but Arbles has been shooting down small fighters quite a lot now, and her aim is a lot better than months ago.

Kaiyo - Bridge

Well, if that wasn’t getting their attention, Kyoi wasn’t sure what was. Again, she hit the accelerator as the Kaiyo shot off, zooming around the enemy station.

“Come on, at least something’s gotta try to shoot us.” Kyoi commented.

Hangar 5

Miles continued to fire in the direction of the ship trying to flee, while almost every shot landed none seemed to break through or cause any real damage and the ship was quickly making to escape "Hyde-Hei, I can't break through it's shields, any ideas?" he called to the engineer in the hangar with him as he turned to fire off a shot at a L'Kor near the end of the room.

Miles turned back to the ship and wracked his brain for ideas, usually if this situation was planned for someone would have anti-ship ordinances but he only had ones focused on defense.

Hangar 5

Walter Hyde leered at the L'Kor vessel, analyzing what he could look at. Come on, come on, give me something, what are the shields supposed to be?!, he thought, gritting his teeth teeth in worry, doing what he can to keep himself together.

His eyes look over at the engines; they emitted a bright, blue energy, growing in power. Alright, this most likely runs on Aether power; therefore, the shields of this vessel must be of the Spacial Distortion variety. A good all-rounder with the cost of being the most power-consuming of the three known shield-types. That being said, I could leave this job to the Kaiyo II, but...

"This is going to be a tricky job, Miles. It is most likely running on Spacial Distortion shielding, judging from the engines alone, so we need to bombard a small area with both physical and beam attacks!", Walter said through his power armor. His hybrid weapon swapped into Sword Mode, his Aether cannons were primed for fire, and he flew right at the shield. "Fire at the area around me!"

Walter's cannons fired away, bombing the shields of the gunship, their spread becoming tighter as he got closer. His NSBs flew around the Saber, and they proceeded to fire as well at the same spot. Using the maneuvering power of his suit, and the literal fire power of his femtomachines, Walter began to spin at a high rotation per minute, colliding with the Distortion shield.

Walter Hyde, the human drill, is now giving everything he has over one small section of the gunship; right over the area of the closed ramp.

Hangar 1

The grey-furred Kodian emerged warily from his not-so-little Jambahole, spotting his snekbuddy slithering on over he flashed a quick thumbs up. His shoulders were a little sore admittedly from the impact of the wall - Kodian skulls were made for impact so didn't particularly ache - but otherwise he was pretty unharmed. "Good here, Abar-" he began, the clanking of his paws and the soft hissing of metal-on-metal of his friend's tail pausing as they just managed to regroup.

Cut off, the baerman spotted the L'Kor in question over Abart's shoulder from his position slightly elevated on the small pile of sheet metal that had fallen from his Kool-Aid Man moment. Without hesitation, the big ball of HELGA jumped over his comrade's head, landing with a loud crash and standing to absorb whatever shots would have hit his companion's back, allowing the Separa to dispatch this very brave hostile.
