Miko looked at the map and took note of the bottom half of the station. "Alright just push this here and." The console did nothing. "Ah come on you piece of L’kor junk. I need the upper part of the station." He took his fist and hit the monitor a few times, not enough to break it but felt he was getting his point across.

Misaki twitched slightly, looking to Hoshi with a blank expression. "What is he even what?" Not waiting for her answer, she looked back to her console, speaking through the microphone. "Shinomori-hei, your statement is duly noted. Attention all currently deployed non-SOFT Soldiers, you are now in two teams which are based on your hangar entries. Yoshida, Reina, Abart'huse, and Jambavan Heis, you are now Assault Team One. Shinomori, Nanami, Peio, Leeta, Mikodimus, and Miles Heis, you are now Assault Team Two. Your orders are as follows, Assault Team one continue with assault and clear operations. Assault Team Two, you are to rendezvous with William at his current position and move him to the closet clear hangar ASAP. He is currently critical."

Misaki then took a sharp breath and swallowed a whine. She turned to Hoshi and said absolutely flat, "I am going to prepare a shuttle for medical evac. There is no way we can risk face by trying to teleport now, all the power for the ship needs to go to the weapons and shields so you can keep this fight up and cover our backsides. I am requesting any available medical personnel to join me so our flying ambulance can treat him before he dies out there. William doesn't have an ST, we do."

She knew the risks, she knew that the shuttle might barely make it out of the bay before getting destroyed. Despite this, she had to make sure that William had a way to get back alive no matter the costs and attempt. She locked her gaze with Hoshi, one side of her wanting to ball up and stop but her other side came forward with a burning passion. Her stance tightened as well as her expression, she looked determined and stern. Her violet eyes looked as if to be attempting to pierce the greenhorn captain's very soul.

It was the XO's duty to maintain the crew as a whole, and even the former XO's step up to the plate to protect their people, their family.

Hangar 4 ----> 5
Hall

Miles heard the scream moments after his HUD flashed red indicating a dangerous injury had been sustained by a tem-mate, whipping his head back towards the hangar and raising his rifle, Miles stared at the scene before him for a moment before launching himself forwards his training kicking in as a newly found patient lay before him.

Driving his knee into the L'Kor and knocking it off balance Miles crouched beside William, during his brief journy crossing the room he'd set the coordinated for his teleportation to be in the hallway from where he had just come and activated it as he scooped up the injured party and was about to zap back into the hall when he heard the orders. Miles quickly reset the jump location to the hangar he had entered in and engaged the unit.

He scanned over the bloodied form lying before him with his expert eye picking out fine details, he knew he would be able to stabilise him at best but from the range her was hit the damage had been maximised. Pulling out his Medical Kit, Miles grabbed the hypospray injector and administered a pain relief dose to William. Next he grabbed some anti-clotting agent and applied it to the severed arteries he dared reach tossing anything from the kit aside that he didnt need, Miles then applied liquid bandage over the wound to try and slow the blood loss while keeping his blood injector on hand if it got much worse.

"This is Miles-Hei, I'm with William in Hangar 5, he's sustained damage to his spine and some other organs in the lower abdomen, concentrated fire. I can't stop the bleeding but have slowed it as best I can." Miles sent the message to the bridge as well as his team so they would know where to find them. Miles looked over to Williams face and checked his breathing, still alive was good it meant there as still time.

The captain stood and said aloud, "MEGAMI? Connect me with the med bay!" The little one stood tall and her white tips of her hair flew upwards as she did.

"Right away," Boss replied over comms.

Hoshi shouted out to the comms, "Care-hei, and anyone else currently in the med bay! I want you to join up in the shuttle bay on Deck 5!!"

Mikodimus slide in from Hanger 4 into 5. His drones had attached to his back and the field for them had been disabled. Slightly behind him, with a chain wrapped around his neck and being dragged was a L'Kor. "Special delivery, seen you hugging this guy a moment ago."

Miko flipped his wrist and the chain unwrapped from around his neck. He again wrapped it around his arm. At the same time the drones reactive and hovered over the L'Kor. Miko could see William was in bad shape. Without even thinking he turned and kicked the L'Kor square in the head.

"You son of a, stay put, you move and my drones will blast holes in your armor." It was as if Miko had slipped back in time, to when he was in the family business. Miko leaned down next to him and in a soft voice only the L'Kor could hear spoke. "And I will push you out the closest airlock and watch you suffocate and freeze in the vacuum of space." He smiled at him as he stood up.

Hangar 5

The pain was excruciating...

The Nepleslian felt the rounds lance through his body, then lost all sensation of his body below the wound yet everything above it was on fire.

William closed his eyes as the L'Kor raised its rifle once more, awaiting the bite of the bullet. He then heard a loud crunch as Miles kicked the L'Kor away and as he opened his eyes he was else where.

William groaned softly as the injector was pushed in. He began to feel the medicine spread through his body. His pain went from a full blown fire throughout to a dull throbbing.

He looked over to Miles. "I'm sorry..." He whimpered softly. Then he added, "Miles... I feel numb..."

Sacre ducked into cover as William's symbol flashed into red. She noted that Miles was closer. However, it looked bad. Perhaps too much for a single medic to handle. She followed Miko into hanger five. She looked at Miles, he was the one on scene first so she would follow his lead. She knelt beside William scanned him with her expert eye and her medical scanner. Miles had not done a poor job, but there was severe internal damage. "Some of the rounds bounced off the back armor. I'm sending an overlay of the wound paths to you. My teleporter is charged and ready." Sacre commented privately to Milo, quietly giving him the best information that she could.

Hangar 1

Even from a few feet away, Abar'huse felt the huge shockwave of the mighty turbo aether cannons on the big ursine's back, roaring with energy. It shook his armor slightly, letting the Separa make a mental note not to get too close to those things. Then, the new orders arrived.

"Well Jamba, looks like command wants us further inside, hangars seem clear for the most part."
A quick check of his munitions showed he had barely expended any, and was still good to go for a long time. "Let's move, maybe we can find some neat gizmo's in there."

Taking point by the door that led out of the hangars into the bowels of the L'kor station, he opened up comms with the other people in 'assault team one'. "Kokoro, Reina. Theisilis and Ersus are moving in after you and will soon renzdevous on your position. Confirm."

With that he slithered off into the hallways, scanning the area's and doors for hostiles and potential loot. Nothing was stopping him from taking home a quick souvenir or two. If anything it would be for the best, as the L'kor weren't going to use it anytime soon. At least not if the kaiyo crew had their way.

Hangar 5 ---> Hallway

Hyde-hei was going to the exit of the Hangar, but then heard new orders over his communications, and was about to follow Miles, but it occurred to him that his name wasn't mentioned.

He could ask for orders right now, he could just follow his medic friend. However, this turned out to be a opportunity to determine where he is needed at a given moment.

Four people, whom have good experience in combat, are going in for the offense. Whereas six people, are going to escort William out of the hangar. He may be no medical officer, but he is perfectly aware that seven troops are not needed to get one man out of the station. Of course, he's the only engineer in the whole assault team, so if he left with Assault One, Assault Two would be deprived of a handyman, should there be a instance where the ambulance gets damaged.

... Then again, in these conditions, if the ambulance gets shot once, then it's pretty much dead. A good enough pilot could navigate the bullet storm, anyways. On top of that, Assault One is made out of good fighters, but no matter how good they are, four people alone won't buy enough time.

Without giving Miles a notification, he blasted off into the network of hallways in the station, plotting a course to Assault One. He sent a message to that team via his PA. "Hyde-hei to Assault One, I will be rendezvousing with you shortly."

Hangar 5

Miles froze, a dull ringing sounded in his ears. "...Numb" anyone watching would easily be able to see the minkan's hands stop and quiver slightly as he processed what had happened, the injury to the spine may have been more severe than he had originally thought.

He went deaf to the world around him as his vision tunnelled and focused solely on William, he could sense someone beside him giving directions but the voice seemed far away and echoed. With a new sense of urgency he continued to try and stabilise his patient, paying close attention to the area around the spine his fear increasing the longer he took.

Time seemed to slow while he worked, but as quickly as it had come so too did it leave and with a sudden explosion of sensory input Miles collapsed backwards onto the hangar floor shaking, he saw Sacre beside him and Miko standing off to the other side. His mind seemed to register everything that had happened all at once and he looked to the other medic. "His spinal column has been damaged, potential paralysis from the waist down. He needs to be on board the Kaiyo ASAP."

Scrambling over to William he motioned for Sacre to continue working on the injury if she could. "Hey stay with me here buddy, you're going to be alright just focus on me ok." He reached for his injector and loaded the next pain inhibitor capsule ready to use at a moments notice. "You don't need to be sorry, just keep those eyes open and looking at me." Miles hadn't yet been faced with such a task as saving a mans life in the battlefield and it was testing him mentally and physically, he continued to worry about his attempts to help William and believed he didn't have the skills necessary to adequately help.

Miles' temple throbbed with the beginning of a headache, his eyes worked overtime to remain focussed on William as he was hit by the full force of the stress, he knew all too well that there was no chance of an ST backup and new body for William which made the gravity of the situation all the more heavy. William was counting on the combined efforts of the Kaiyo medical personnel, this shocked Miles from his self doubt and spurred him into action. "There's a shuttle coming buddy, stay with me you're getting out of this alive you hear me!"

Arbles the Barbles took a moment's respite as another gunship detonated under the stress of the Fuji-class's firepower. Not that she had a moment-there were still far too many enemy contacts floating around freely. Arbles paused for a moment visually, the Kaiyo II's guns going silent... A single shot called out, the retort being heard throughout the ship as all of its weapons fired simultaneously and cored through another gunship as cleanly as aether could be, the remaining energy fizzling out a few kilometers away on its far side as its reactor overloaded and vaporized its carcass.

"Another target down. We need to clear away more of them if we want to give that shuttle any chance of arriving at the station..." As she spoke the smol returned to her task in a normal, methodical way, settling into her familiar rhythm. Anti-mass drivers fire in a ripple, emphasizing the three-four time to which a melody of aether stormed about the ship, harassing the gunships as they danced about in the chaos. Hell, Arbles was even tapping her foot to the sounds.

YSS Kaiyo - Bridge

“Right then.” Kyoi replied, promptly. “Guess we stop playing at having the biggest, baddest ship in system currently and be the big bad. Entering combat maneuvers.”

The ship began to change patterns — rather than dodge and give minimal firing angles to the enemy, it began to use its Main Weapon Array as a proper weapon instead of a herding tool. A shot smashed right into a L’Kor ship that evaded the storm of guns the tiny weapons operator fired, the other tiny crew member on the bridge, though not as tiny, still eliminating the target. The bass of the Main Weapons Array was a nice sound to the overture of Arble’s cannons, Kyoi contemplated.

Hangar One

The big fuzzy ball of death that was Jambavan Ersus made a small whistling sound as his cannons whirred down, the heat exchanges smoking a little, that shimmering mirage of hot metal circling around him.

"That, I can get used to!" The big fluffer grinned, turning to look over his shoulder, over the heavy armor plate mounted there. He padded over, quite surprised and chuffed at the firepower he was packing. "Let's go then, Barry." The Kodian's grin could be heard in his voice.

With Abart grabbing the odd thing or two, Jamba make a slight "hmm" sound. It was a good idea he was just wary himself that filing his hands with stuff would slow his four-footed pace, as much as he wanted some trinkets.

Sacre looked at William and nodded at the assessment of the other medic. She used her communications to William's suit and ordered it into rigidity so that his damaged spine wouldn't be damaged further by them moving him. She grabbed an armor quick-patch and slapped it onto his armor. It wouldn't hold up against enemy fire, but would do just fine with the vaccum of space. Then she ordered the armor to seal back up. She dropped her unused medical pack and picked up Miles's opened pack.

"Kaiyo, you don't have to come all the way back to the station. I'll be teleporting to here." She said, marking a spot for the Kaiyo to pick her up that was much farther away then regular teleportation range. Her extended range teleportation allowed her to make stupidly long jumps with someone else in tow.

Sacre told William's suit to levitate. "Ok, We're up and moving." Sacre started to float towards the hanger with William. Sacre looked at MIles. "You take my pack and stay here. I've got the teleportation range to get him back to that Kaiyo once we clear the Station's shields." She said quickly and professionally.

Then she looked down at William, "So, tell me what did you do wrong to end up in my care?" She asked, wanting to keep William talking for the time being.

YSS Kaiyo II
Medbay

Chlorate heard the comms message, acknowledging "Command received," out loud. She looked around the medbay and floated to the door, only to stop before exiting the room, saying "Error..." She turned and hovered to Care, stating "Care, I do not know where the shuttle bay is. Can you lead me to this area?"

Misaki looked to Hoshi one last time before adding on, "Have all necessary MINDYs readied. I'll be down momentarily." As soon as she finished she turned and headed for the passageway. She carefully inhaled and exhaled as she descended towards the Power Armor bay below her on the bottom deck.

Power Armor Bay

By this point, she knew she needed to be determined. By the time her feet hit the deck in the hallway, she was already undressing. Since she hadn't worn a jumpsuit since the day she became an officer candidate, there was no other option except to don the MINDY au naturale. She neatly folded her clothes as she reached her armor. She stripped bare before slipping into the Armor and walking over to the nearby armory.

Armory

Needing to make sure that even in the worst case she was armed, and feeling more comfortable with something in her hands, she requisitioned a Ke-M2-W2913 Aether/Scalar Submachine Gun and the necessary ammunition. Just before leaving, she made sure that the weapon's bayonet was stowed in her armor before she placed the weapon on her back.

Shuttle Bay

Finally, the Second Officer emerged from the doors leading to the Power Armor bay. She hadn't been in space armor in what seemed like forever, her concealed face much softer than the front of the helmet. She looked to the Raccoon shuttle sitting in front of her as she waited for the remaining people to show up. "We'll take the Raccoon, might need some seats if we all need to get back in a hurry."

As she waited, she thought out to Eden, "I just want you to know, I love you." She spoke to the MEGAMI next, "Keep me informed on William-kun's status at regular intervals." She was worried, but she had a job to do.

Hangar 5

William was disorientated as the medics worked on him. His eyes began to flutter, the Nepleslian fighting the sleep that was fighting to take him. He was just so tired and hurt so much... he wanted it to just go away. The pain was still a constant throbbing. He could feel the pain shooting out of every single nerve fiber in his upper body. He heard Miles speaking to him and he tried to nod, just before he felt his armor begin to enclose him again.

He was able to register that the armor had gone rigid, and then felt the armor lift off the ground. He looked through his helmet's visor to see Sacre. As he heard her question he thought for a moment trying to recall what had happened. "I... I missed one of the L'kor in... in hangar 4." He stammered quietly. "I thought... I got it." His eyes began to feel heavy and they started to droop. "I'm so tired..." He said. A small part of him told him that sleep was bad, and he fought to keep his eyes open.

Yoshida stalled in her advance, if only for a moment. William? Hurt? He was doing so well! Was it... her fault? for not keeping an eye on him? She couldn't worry about that now. She could whine about her failure to properly command at a later date, for now she needed to advance down the hall she currently resided in, and make sure to make a lot of noise. Couldn't have the SOFT team be getting all the attention now, could we?

Station Hallways

Enemies? Diced by blade, pummeled by blasts of plasma. His armor? Scratched and a bit dented from being careless, but otherwise functional. Any loot? Honestly he just wanted to get to Yoshida's group, he's not interested in objects of significance to L'korian culture.

Walter flew through the hallway, his mind barely present in his moment of leisure and... Boredom? Honestly he didn't think he'd get board, but this is a large station, and he didn't bring his darn journal. The station itself looked interesting, but not enough to have Walter invested in hypothesizing the nature of it. The L'Kor kill time, but... By the stars above, they have less tact and strategy than him. Heck, he recalled that's how fighting the Elysians felt to his parents: they sounded menacing up until you realize they have the overall combat capabilities of a household plant.

The Minkan usually fought on the defensive; instead of him controlling the battle, he'd let them make their moves. Be mindful of their opponent, and his surroundings. He read them like a book, maneuver by maneuver, and when it was Walter's turn to strike, he would take every advantage he can get to beat them. That's how he chose to fight.

... Sadly, all the L'Kor fight very similarly. Honestly fighting the gunship with Miles was more of a fair fight than fighting one of soldiers one on one. It spoke miles to Walter on just how sloppy these guys are; it's not even comedic!

Due to Walter Hyde taking an alternate route in the station, he ended up meeting Yoshisa-hei without running into Banja-hei or Abart-hei. He floated by her, hybrid weapon primed and ready, his NSBs watching their six-

-and the Minkan promptly turned around and shot a L'Kor right in the head in a flurry of plasma, with a deadpan expression that cannot be seen under the stoic shell of the power armor.

"Got one.", he said simply. "Any plan of action, Yoshida-hei?" Walter kept up to her pace via flight. Why bother running?

More Station Hallways

She spared the breifest of glances at the handy-man, before speaking. "We are going to make a lot of noise, rattle the nest and see what comes after us untill the SOFT team does their job, and team two has done their job. Speaking of aren't you in team two?" She quickly set the aether gattlign rifle to single shot and began plinking away at the inside of the hallway, taking down anything that vaugely resembles a camera, or what may have the possibility of spitting something, anything out of it.

"We're going to march towards the command, very obviously untill they grossly over react, then teleport away. Which... I think is probably somewhere near the top middle? Regardless..." She opened her comms up to EDEN as well. "I'm thinking assault one should head towards the bridge, where is it exactly?" Yoshda asked. "I'm almost considering just melting our way through a few decks to get there... Who knows, they are probably thinner than any blast doors in the way, people don't usually yhink to armor up the things that aren't doors for some reason. At least according to simulations." As she walked, and talked, she kept her eyes peeled, with a spring in her step, and a dangerous whipping to her tail. It was as if she was a cat, ready to go play with her food.
