"And it shall be done." An odd wording perhaps, but the point was easy to get across even with the temporarily reduced output of justice. This battleship was going to stay put in a position unable to aggress the Kaiyo, thanks to the combined effort of Arblebarble and the boarding crew ripping it to shreds. Saying that, the primary cannon was on standby for the time, being deemed too powerful to remove the weapons without possibly detonating the L'Kor battleship like a large grenade.

Yoshida continued firing, even as she took stock of the situation, widening that doorway by melting it away with her aether gattling gun, eroding at cover, and occasionally trying to catch one of th el'kor by suprise by suddely focusing her fire on a place she was pretty sure one was hiding behind a door. It would take too long like this, but that was what a team was for, as long as she kept them under pressure they wouldn't be moving too much. "Hey! What if the rest of you lot al charge up teleports while I keep them busy, warp in all at once and blast them to bits?"

Yoshida's tail swished around at the notion of that plan, oh she liked that. A synchronized teleporting firing squad, all warping in on unsuspecting targets! Oh it almost made her shiver with joy. "Haahaa!"

Albatross

Orion took cover behind the part of the door that hadn't been obliterated by meissa. He started to shoot at the farthest L'Kor, hiding behind the piece when fire was being concentrated on him. He didn't seem like a nervous wreck anymore, at least he was now concentrated.

Carter responded quickly upon hearing Yoshida's tentative plan. "Good call. I'm already charging. Four seconds to completion... Two... Ready. Start choosing targets, people. Let's see if we can pick up a live prisoner from this mess."

Meanwhile, Carter had his attention turned to the HUD data he was receiving from his NSBs within the room. He chose his primary target. A L'Kor that was isolated from the rest of the combatants, the only one behind its cover. He chose his teleport destination, and prepared to deliver a scalar-charged knuckle sandwich to the unfortunate creature, awaiting the rest of his squad to finish charging their own teleportation modules before the breach.

L'Kor Albatross Hallways

Being one of the taller in the group, Anastasia also took a few shots from the enemy fire flowing through the hall and doorway. Her shields being depleted, she took a strategic armistice, which involved ducking behind the rest of the crew spearheading the assault.
She called to Yoshida over the comms in her helmet, recovering. "You holding up??"

"Rush 'em and fuck 'em, why not. Warping behind enemy cover."
Meissa began to charge her teleport with her squad, while she pinned some targets behind cover, before promptly destroying said cover.

Mat began to charge his teleportation module as well while keeping fire on the enemy to suppress them. He also sent out some NSB's to harass them while he waited. "When you say it like that you make it sound weird."

L'Kor Albatross, Entering Room

Mitsuko winced at the first explosion, before seeming to curl into herself as the shooting began. She recovered after a few moments, aiding the others in returning fire when able, while mostly keeping watch on the hallway behind them. Just in case. The quickly pulled together plan got a nod from her. "Proceed with tactical teleportation. Try to spread out. Oh...and you wouldn't want to hit any of them, Kokoro-Hei. I'll act as spotter." The Neko tied her view in with Yoshida's, while helpfully plotting teleport destinations for the group, marking them in her HUD to prevent any friendly fire.

"Engage teleporters in 3...2...1..." Muakami detached the LASR from its shoulder mount and readied it as she counted down. At the same time, Meissa noticed several official warnings coming in to her over a private channel, marked with timestamps that put the incidents during the current engagement. Each one labelled 'use of language unbecoming of a soldier in the Star Army of Yamatai.' If she actually took the time to read them during the firefight, she'd see several choice quotes from earlier conversations, although Mitsuko had redacted multiple letters in the middle of the most unbecoming words.

Albatross

Those in the room that were the first to be hit didn't go down without fights, but go down they did. One by one, they seemed to buckle under the fire power of the away team. Yoshida's excellent plan of attack coupled with the team's fighting abilities and Mitsuko's teleportation plotting made them the most formidable force the L'Kor could have been up against. The room was soon cleared by them and, now, it was time to move on to engineering.

Bridge

Catherine Ross came onto the volumetric display and she said to the bridge, "We're having trouble getting the bombers and fighters in check. Is there anything you can do?"

"I have just the thing," Eden replied. She then sent a message to the samurai just on the other side of the door.

"One more thing," Catherine Ross said. "We've established a communication connection with the battleship. We'd like your scientist to speak to them, with your input, Taii, of course."

Eden turned to look for her science advisor, then spoke to Boss. "Get Mochi, if you can."

"That I can," Boss replied. The MEGAMI then contacted Iemochi and asked him to assist.

"You will do just that, then," Rei said to Amanozako, having gotten the message from Eden. "You are to attack the enemy fighters and bombers and be wary of Star Army assets, avoiding the power armor teams and Yamataian vessels."

She then turned to her protege. "William, please escort this Neko to her armor?"

Rei looked back to Amanozako, "It is not a matter of mistrust for you, but William does not know how to enter a power armor. I'd like you to show him for his edification. Ii desu ka— is that good?"

At the mention of Seinosuke, Shan's wings perked up a few centimeters, holding their new position for a moment-before relaxing again. There was some talk about bombers, and with the battleship all but offline she had focus to spare.
"Taii, should I assist in cleaning up the remaining fighters?" Sure the range was slightly farther than optimal on the Kaiyo's defensive guns, but she'd be up for taking them out from here given permission.

"I get it, Mitsuko." she replied, after the teleport and the clear.
Meissa started pulling more explosives off her belt, while poking around to check for anything remotely useful she could use to seriously mess something up.

"Understood!" Throughout the ensuing firefight, she happily used mitsuko's view to identify where not to shoot and just as importantly, where to bore holes through the wall with her endless aether stream to give the l'kor hiding behind those walls some brand new ventilation systems. She never let go of the trigger, until a few seconds after the battle finally ended, the walls full of holes, liquid metal forming pools, and blood everywhere. It was only then, that the seemingly endless fire from her gattling gun finally ceased pouring forth.

Yoshida sighed in relief and checked her sheila status as she started moving into the room herself finally, her remaining NSBs circling around her head like satellites. She barely paused, only enough to see who was okay, who's shields were down, and especialyl if any one was sporting new holes in their armor where there weren't any before. Particularly, anastasia, upon reaching her she quickly looked her over as they walked towards engineering. "You're good right? Hah you better be!"

Orion, seeing that the coast was clear, lowered his weapon and came out of the door frame he was using for cover, joining the rest of the group, still with his gun in hand, he was either too scared to put it back and risk being attacked by the enemy, or he just forgot he was actually carrying the sniper rifle.

Anastasia checked her surroundings, moving out towards Yoshida and the rest of the crew. She looked around at the absolute mess caused by the previous bullet rain on both sides. She took a breath to relax. "Holding up. Shields took a few bad hits."

She looked around the now quiet room ahead of them, returning to open comms. "Let's hope there's something useful... not filled with holes. Anything in particular we're looking for, here?" She took the time to scan her surroundings, making sure there wasn't anyone somehow faking all those bullet holes. Unlikely.

Carter's initial strike at his targeted L'Kor was thwarted by a lucky reaction, a wild swing that deflected his armored gauntlet and sent the charged scalar pulse careening off towards the wall off to the side. Carter quickly activated his wrist projector's aether blade and finished off the enemy before it could bring its own weapons to bear. He gave a frustrated growl and shook his head as the dispatched power armor fell backwards onto the floor. "Missed the stun. I'm Going to try again if the next room is occupied."

As he moved into position with the rest of the squad in preparation for the breach and started charging a fresh teleport, he muttered under his breath. "Who am I kidding, of course it's occupied."

Mat began to charge his teleport as well, but frowned.

"We can't just charge in there again. We got lucky this time, but we're too sloppy and we're not working together. We need a plan."

Sooner or later, the L'kor would adapt to their new enemy, and rushing without a plan was a good way to get killed in his book.

William had finally started to relax, until he heard his mother speak. His face drained of all color. He looked from Rei, to Amanozako, and back. "H...hai...Sensei." He replied. He didn't like it, but he had to do what his mother wished him to.

He stepped forward and nodded to Amanozako. "Lead the way miss." he said, doing his best to keep his voice calm and even. His hands hung at his sides, an attempt at showing he had no intentions of fighting her. "I have seen power armor before, but I have never actually seen anyone don one before. I would appreciate you showing me..." He said softly to the NMX Neko.

Bridge

"There are still Sixth Squadron power armor teams trying to take down the fighters. Best to avoid firing on them if we can!" Taii Teien Eden said exuberantly, "But let's see about getting this battleship's dual plasma arrays knocked down a notch. The claw-like incisors are what we need to set our sights on. A direct hit from one of those would not be good, not that we'll let them get so far as to do so!" Testing a nickname for the weapons operator, she said with vigor, "Take them out, Arbs!"

To the Kaiyō away team, she comm'd in to Mitsuko, saying, "Mat has a good point. But I think you're five steps ahead of that. Clue everyone in to your plan of attack, Murakami-heisho!"

Outside Bridge

Amanozako paused, eying the guard for a long silent moment, then nodded slowly.

"I will need my impaler rifle back" she stated. It was the only power armor appropriate weapon she'd had with her at the time of her capture, and she was not going into battle without it.

The she turned her red gaze to William, "Get moving" she said to the boy.

"How to fix that problem, Mat," Meissa replied as she cleared her messages and charged her teleport, "is to give their weapons a solid smack. Especially if we want a live capture."

And maybe just use a lot, and by a lot, she meant a lot of explosives. Because those were good for more than just blowing holes in walls. Seriously, it should be required for every Star Army guy to carry a block of plastic explosive. Speaking of which...

Meissa targeted her teleport above the enemy, while readying a 'small' bit of guaranteed fun, just enough to guarantee she could fly away safely, for use. "Don't warp into the middle of them, because I am with a block of the fun stuff."
