IYS Kaiyō Power Armor Bay

Ise's inhuman response time was rather quick, teleporting as soon as they were called upon. It probably had more than a little to do with the fact that they had absolutely zero neurosis over abandoning their current mission with the rest of the team's strange dopplegangers. Still had the decency to move away from their exposed organic companions, so that they were spared from the air-disrupting shock wave as they made the leap, though...

The alternate ship was an odd breed. The gynoid was not used to seeing so many component numbers that were so familiar, but they subtly did not recognize. Their metallic cranium was filled to the brim with 404'ed information requests.

-"Should I secure the area, Shosa?"- A digital, dour voice echoed across their shared coms. -"Goramu-Hei does not recognize these power armor configurations... Please be aware that their similarity to our Mindy means that they may be operated on remote control, however..."

Quite strange, these nekos. Was all Ise could think, pondering over their confrontation with their alternate selves. Their apparent emotions were almost a complete mystery to the machine, but from her unique outside perspective, she wondered if they were technically to the same mental specifications or not, albeit adapted to different environments.

Did Ise's YSS Kaiyo crew possess the potential to become the same as the alternate version? And vice versa? Did they share more common ground than Ise did with either of them?

Most perturbatory.

Mat began to disassemble the enemy power armor by slicing off the heads of the unshielded suits with the saber of his saber rifle first, then by grabbing power armor grenades off of weapon racks, arming them and tossing them down the necks of the power armors and taking cover. After each suit was destroyed, he repeated the process.

Arbles mostly did keep quiet, save for when the conversation was about what needed to be done. She shrugged at Anastasia, speaking, "Well I don't think it should be torn apart. Disassembly, I prefer that word." Despite her doubts, the Arble kept busy on the work shared between her, Anastasia, and sometimes Mochi. If All was lying, well at lease they're going to have taken a chance to get home rather than waiting around and hiding, fading away silently. She did, however, send a comforting message to her boyfriend via telepathy- I'm sure he doesn't mean harm by it. It's just something you're not as experienced with. Her message sent warmly, and with a smile to boot.

As usual, Abart'huse followed the rest of the away team, this time following Teien-shosa's direct lead. He did have his doubts however, and even though he had witnessed Amanozako's and William's skill personally, putting the two of them together with all of the the IYS PA-group seemed crazy no matter how you looked at it. They had one-upped the Kaiyo once before, who says they wouldn't do it again?

"Here goes nothing..."
With a strong pulse, the snek's mindy poofed out of existence, only to reappear in the IYS PA-bay a fraction of a second later, coming in just behind Meissa, speaking up over the team comms. "You called...?" Being in unknown enemy territory was always unnerving, especially so in an unknown alternate universe, which was very much like being an infinite amount of lightyears away from home. He had his doubts and worries, but the possibility of succeeding and returning home was too tempting to let slip by.

"I can take point if necesarry, shosa. Rounding corners or walls shouldnt be an issue with this tail of mine, plus my eyes are very sensitive to motion as well..."

Four unused scalar pulse grenades adorned Abart's 'hips', ready to be deployed at a moment's notice. He had considered swapping two of them with flashbangs just to be sure, but right now 4 of those destructive badboys were more than welcome.

"Come to think of it, what exactly are we looking for in the first place?"

Power Armor Bay

In one moment, Hanna was in the power armor bay of the YSS Kaiyō. In the next, she was in the IYS Kaiyō's power armor bay.

Hanna carried her normal loadout, seeing no reason to change her loadout aside from an ammo refill on the YSS Kaiyō. Once she teleported in, Hanna sighted her SMG and scanned the room for additional hostiles aside from the one that Eden had eliminated.

With her sensors clear, Hanna lowered her SMG and moved towards the edge of the blast shutter doors.

"Theisilis-Hei, we are currently gathering the necessary components for a drive that we need to leave this god-forsaken universe. Pay attention.", Hanna answered in a robotic and condescending tone.

Eden nodded to her team and held her SiZi 38 close to her helmet, pointed upwards as she crept along towards the passageway to what she presumed to be the medical center.

She spoke over comms, saying, "We have a lot of ground to cover. We need to get to engineering."

An NSB buzzed off of her leg hardpoint and Eden swept her arm to direct her team to get out of visual range of whoever was beyond the door they were about to rush. The door opened as she triggered it and her NSB buzzed around the corner as she leaned next to the doorway. She noticed a lone infantry Neko running along the passage towards the PA bay, wearing her revealing uniform and cornflower blue panels. Eden nodded to her team and spoke succinctly as she had her own NSB's visuals pop up on Hanna's HUD, "Take 'em out."

As the blast shutter doors were opened, Hanna took a deep breath, patiently awaiting the moment that she would enter the passageways and sweep through the ship with a cold ferocity. Hanna was glad that they weren't fighting a defensive battle this time, having the gained the upper hand on the enemy in the previous engagement.

Hanna followed after Eden, still inside the power armor bay proper when she received the signal on her HUD. As the doors slid open, Hanna leaned past the threshold of the door, only showing her head and her SMG as she fired at the running Neko, then dived outside of the power armor bay, sighting her SMG as she sought more targets.

Eden began storming through the hallway outside of the medical center the moment the infantry Neko was knocked by the SMG's blast to the ground.

"Well done," Eden chimed over open comms as she stepped over the IYS Neko's body. She led them through the empty recreation room and what looked to be a VR room until they were at a zero-G passageway. "Going down," Eden said. She hopped into it, floating through the passageway. As she dropped down, one deck and then another, she noticed the blast shutters were closed on the engineering room.

"Nashira-hei?" Eden said, not feeling like Nashira needed explanation.

The two slicing and dicing power armors would notice that they had company. Five of the power armors once out fighting The All came into the bay and began shooting with precision and accuracy at Mat and Orion.

Amanozako and William had their work cut out for them as the hostages began getting information from their ship about the current situation.

"We have the right to go back to our ship!" Nashira Meissa yelled at Amanozako. "Let us go!"

All looked to Mochi, saying, "She's doing very well, you know. You should be proud. Let her know she needs to make sure the array is still functional as it's taken from the prow. We can do with it being in a few pieces if we can put it back together." He turned to Anastasia, "How's it coming? No power outages?" He smiled wryly.

IYS Kaiyo - Hallway

"Quietly open it or screw caution?" Meissa asked

Of course, that was rhetorical. There wasn't any use hiding themselves anymore. Their MEGAMI would have detected them right on intrusion.

Meissa left a few bits of PE behind the crew as a way to block off the hall. Then, she lined up the explosives on the door, and hit the detonator when everyone was at a safe distance.

While Abart and Hanna could get along rather well most of the time, he still hadn't quite gotten used to how blunt and temperamental Hanna could be in actual combat situations. As such he couldn't help but let out a brief sigh, muttering. "I meant more specifically, like what sort of components.......whatever....."

Nevertheless, Abart switfly followed Eden's lead, making sure to check their surroundings carefully, LASR and shield at the ready. He went down the zero-G passage way, albeit a bit slower to keep an extra eye out on the other decks, wanting to make sure no-one snuck up on them from behind, above or anywhere really. Anything that did had some freshly restocked LASR-SLAG and gauss barrels waiting for them.

Soon enough Nashira had set up her handywork in preperation for the breach, with the whole squad grouping up in preperation for a break-in. "Ready."

Mochi worked where he could in silence, he wasn't too familiar with the actual intricacies of these systems, more their overall effects. While the girls worked a good amount on the hardware, he set about checking the maths where he couldn't do so himself. He seemed to screen out All a few minutes after the snide remark, tapping away on his datapad. 'It's alright, he's talking big but he still needs our help.' Mochi replied to the smol Elysian, along with slightly smug yet warm tones.

As All addressed him again, Mochi didn't react externally, resisting the urge to reply 'You think I'm not proud of her?'
Meanwhile, he slipped a message off to Arbs - 'He says try not to break the array and keep it in as few pieces as possible. How charming.'

As the YSS Kaiyo's crew boarded the enemy ship, William set himself to the task of securing the enemy armor and weapons. He worked silently, just focusing on the task at hand when the IYS's Meissa began making demands. He stopped and moved back to where they were being held.

He slipped in next to Amanozako as an added show of force, but did not move his swords from their sheath. "You are not allowed to leave yet." He said simply.

Yoshida silently followed along as they walked, observing the... everything. It was... strange. She did not want to be here, that much was certain. It felt like a mockery of 'home.' "So... I bet we have, or had, at most a minute before a response team shows up." Yoshida murmured as she followed eden. She wasn't paying especially close attention to the feeds of her fellow pilots, that was of course, the job of the squad leader, in her mind. None the less she spoke up after muttering the phrase, and turning around to stare behind them as eden ordered meissa to work.

"I think splitting up like we are may be a terrible idea... But maybe one of us will be more productive if they don't split their forces accordingly."

Bridge

Misaki nodded while gently petting her daughter in an attempt to keep her calm. She leaned back into the captain's chair and observed the battlefield and local space through her SPINE. She brought the weapons online and ran idle diagnostics while she scanned both ships in front of them. She saw in her mind that the Aether array was inoperable, so the rest of the weapons would have to do.

She spoke up in her rare authoritative voice as she gave her orders, "Riku, inform the All's ship that we are on their side and send a demand of surrender to the IYS Kaiyo." Within the same beat, Misaki turned her head to the sensor's operator, "Asuka, what is the other Kaiyo's shield strength?"

She didn't wait to power their defense systems, power their shields, and aim their Aether battery. As soon as they got a response from both ships, Misaki would unleash the Kaiyo's firepower.

Hallways

While Meissa set to work on her explosives, Hanna took the rear guard for the group. She had her SMG sighted down the adjacent hallway, her eyes and ears open for signals on her HUD that could represent an enemy or a disturbance.

It would not take long for her sensors to pick up the discharges originating from the power armor bay. While Matsuvo and Orion had been destroying the armors with blades and explosives, the repetitious blips that appeared on her sensors more closely resembled automatic aetheric discharges from power armor grade handheld weaponry than they did detonations. Her sensors had been picking up the detonations originally, but the sudden shift in the nature of the signals was cause for concern. Confident in her assessment of the situation, Hanna unsighted her SMG and turned to the CO.

"Shosa, there are foreign aetheric discharges originating from the power armor bay. I have reason to believe that there are hostile armors inside."

Anastasia had to disable the main reactor of the YSS Kaiyō, instead setting the Kaiyō to backup reactor power. As a result, the Kaiyō's auxiliary systems were limited. Clearly in a bad position under the reactor, Anastasia grunted in reply to All. "Only a controlled one..."

The Elysian technician telepathically contacted Arbitrated as she worked. "How is it going on your side?"

Weapon Array

Anastasia received a response quickly- "Well, the array's offline as it should be and the pieces are taken apart as, they should be." Luckily for her, the manual override stopped the array from being even accidentally powered by Misaki up on the bridge-the chamber would delete the small birb instantly if it was active. The only things really keeping the three-part array from drifting off away from the ship's hull was the arrangement of cables, designed specially for this very task. While she worked, Arb-Arb also chatted telepathically with Mochi; "Well it breaks into three pieces normally, and... Yeah there's still three pieces here. I'm... Pretty sure that's how it's supposed to be according to the instruction manual." A somewhat pride-filled telepathic chuckle reverberated inside Mochi's mind.

Mat began to duck behind a bulkhead, and fired back at the enemy armors. He tossed some grenades at them from weapon racks, and then had an idea. He grabbed what appeared to be an aether saber rifle from a weapon rack, activated it, and threw it at his enemies, and shot out it's power pack, hoping to cause an explosion. Then he grabbed a power armor off a rack and began to use it as a shield while he fired just below it's armpits.

Amanozako watched the prisoners, frowning as they demanded to be returned to their ship.

"You're sticking around" she replied, "The only way I'm sending any of you home right now is in pieces, after the BS you pulled on us" she continued in an icy tone. "Don't trust a single one of you an inch" she added and adjusted her grip on her impaler rifle.
