IYS Kaiyō Hallway

The blast shutter crumpled as the inferno erupted in a circular explosion outwards, pushing against the wall of the zero-G passageway and bloomed outward in every direction. Eden threw herself down the passageway a moment before the flame seemed to dissipate, plunging in one foot first while her other leg was bent at the knee.

"Jones-hei!" Eden said, wanting to reply to Hanna immediately but knew to ask her team what they knew first. "What's happening in the IYS PA bay?"

After asking, she stomped into engineering in her Mindy and began turning her head one way and another before taking a few steps forward and leaning down. She crawled on all fours after a moment, then reached out her arm, struggling to reach something in the very prow of the room.

Space

The IYS was wracked with the blasts from the YSS Kaiyō guns and soon, the ship had begun attacking the YSS Kaiyō and All ship simultaneously. The ship was fighting the YSS with its superior fire power, though its focus was torn between the two aggressors.

YSS Kaiyō Shuttle Bay

The group of IYS crew began to look to one another, then stood as a group, pushing forward towards Amanozako and William. Nashira Meissa ducked below Amanozako to go towards the power armor bay where her weapons were stored and Mat's counterpart did the same while one other tried to float over their heads.

YSS Kaiyō Engineering

"You know I can hear you two, right?" All asked Mochi. Whether or not he could would remain a mystery for now as he began to chastise Mochi. "You really are being very useless. Look at little Anastasia with her beautiful wings getting greasy as she works tirelessly. Meanwhile, you..." He waved a hand up and down in front of Mochi.
 
IYS Kaiyo - Engineering

"Deploying drones, Eden." Meissa told.

The four drones detached from her back, flying at full speed back towards the power armor bay.

Meanwhile, Meissa took the first step into the room, sweeping it with her Saber Rifle as she flew to the top.

Check your list. Hostiles, cover, volatiles, fragile objects, consoles. She bounced off the ceiling, noting everything in the room.

"See anything?" Meissa asked.

Engineering

"You know that one saying people have about, oh shoot what was it... Hell and a woman? I'm starting to feel like the woman, Mr. All." Arbles didn't hide any emotions from her speech-this All guy was going to hear the displeasure in her voice even without his crazy shenanigans. Now, back to the array... Which was currently being, while in the middle of battle, slid ever closer towards the posterior of the ship. Array segment 'Alpha' should be visible from the entrance in tee minus ten seconds! Anastasia got a telepathic message from her grey-paneled coworker. Sure enough, the knife-like protrusion inched into view.

Mochi was busy at work envisioning - in glorious detail - his datapad soaring through the air, turning over on itself before smacking All straight in his smug face. Blood would stream from All's nose at which point he would look down at his red-tinged hands in horror, pad clattering to the floor. The thought made Mochi smile throughout the little monologue, not visibly reacting other than his face lightening with humor. "Useless, huh? Why don't you just snap your fingers and do all this perfectly oh great one?" he couldn't help but quip, lowering his pad a fraction in the air. Trying not to laugh at the hilarity of it all, Arbles' comment finally pushed him over the edge to chuckle heartily. "I mean, if you're all-powerful surely you can Deux-Ex us out of this whole situation?"
 
"Multiple targets approaching! 5 power armors in total!"
Orion replied to the captian comms, opening fire against the enemy, attempting to get use to his new weapon, the aether rifle he had picked up.

The Elysian didn't have the best accuracy at the moment, it seemed like his aiming skill had dropped after grabbing this new kind of gun he didn't have much practice with. And he was fighting in the front lines, he wasn't used to this kind of thing. But he kept on shooting, landing some shots here and there.

YSS Kaiyō Shuttle Bay

William let out a string of curses in the silence of his helmet as the enemy crew stood. "Sit down!" He boomed when they rushed them. He attempted to shove them back, activating his thrusters to reach up and grab the floating neko's ankle. When he got a firm grasp he threw her back against the shuttle.

"Amanozako! I'll get the escapees!" He said flaring his thrusters, and blasting off down the hallway. "Boss! Lockdown this entire section of the ship. Don't let them in the PA Bay!" William attempted to order. He wasn't sure if the AI would take his orders or not but it was worth a shot. "Stop or I will put you down!" he yelled after IYS Mat and Messia, drawing his swords after they refused to stop. He couldn't let them get away. He raised his forearms and began firing salvos from his cannons after them, trying to get close enough to cut them down.

Yoshida looked back and forth, wondering what to do for a moment. Guard the captain of the ship, or head to assist what was probably a fight in the IYS power armor bay. Surprisingly it actually wasn't made easier knowing exactly who was in there- After all, Anastasia would be upset if she learned her friend could have, or should have headed off to save the day and did not. For the moment, she stayed put, Eden was at the top of the command structure and of all things for one of that position to be doing, had lead the charge into the ship. She needed to be guarded.

So rather than dash off like an anime hero, she stood her ground and looked over every corner of the engineering bay. The other two were already watching down the hall any way. "Need help?" Yoshida asked curtly, as she stared around the room, her gattling rifle at the ready in single shot mode for now- this was no place to paint the halls.

Hallway/Engineering

Hanna followed Meissa into the engineering room, her SMG sweeping left and right as she checked the room for hostiles. She also turned on her Mindy's flashlight, so that Eden could get a better of view of the object she seemed to be reaching for.

Once Orion's transmission returned, Hanna looked down at Eden before she lowered her gun.

"How should we proceed?"

Bridge

Misaki, with the firing solution already finished gave somewhat of a growl, "Asuka-Hei! What is the IYS Kaiyo's shield strength!" Her eyes were locked on the Jôtô Hei, a rare case of the more angry Misaki compared to her usual quiet demeanor. In the exec's mind though, she was entirely worried. She had just watched her wife leave for a boarding action, which she never did, and just gave the ship's command to her. Something didn't seem right about what she felt was happening, and was determined to do something.

With the guns aimed directly at the IYS Kaiyo, and shots placed carefully, she could theoretically disable the ship in a couple salvos. She felt herself shivering, as if suddenly caught up in a cold sweat. She had the fear that if she did too much, she'd end up killing her own aboard the hostile vessel. She heard herself whine, with her ears twitching before falling back down for a moment before going back to where they normally rested.

She was in fear, but knew she had to act. She was just afraid of what would happen.

Bridge

Asuka looked to Misaki, "They're incredibly low! Another minute of this and they'll be done!" She turned back to her work and a bead of sweat dripped onto her console. She wiped it away mindlessly. Saki needed to contact the All ship or get Riku to do so soon or they may never know more about this strange race of aliens that they were now conspiring with.

Shuttle/Power Armor Bay

The Neko closest to Amanozako flung themselves at her and began trying to pull the former NMX Neko down with them. The thrown Neko lay in a crumpled heap and hemosnyth streamed out of her eyes and nose while the last Neko lunged atop Amanozako, as well, trying to disable her.

Boss did not listen to William. The IYS versions of Matsuvo and Meissa rushed towards the power armor bay doors. They entered and paused in the doorway, as if entranced by something inside the bay. Then, they proceeded inward.

Eden began meticulously unplugging wires and pulling brackets off of a small, black box with blue edges that was only just big enough to be held under one arm.

"Yes, Nashira-hei. I see something. Something we desperately need."

She began tugging on the device and had to rip off a mooring before she could bring it in front of her face and then turned as she stood to look at Hanna, Yoshida, and Meissa, holding the blue-edged black box between her elbow and hip.

"Assist your team in the power armor bay. I'm right behind you."

Power Armor Bay

A Neko landed on Orion as she dive bombed from the space outside of the ship and she stabbed her aether saber into his chest repeatedly. A second power armored Minkan flew down, spreading aetheric fire onto the Elysian's chest right after the Neko hopped off of Orion. The Minkan got closer, picking up Orion by a wing and held his forearm cannon to the Elysian's chest, which Orion could tell by his HUD was almost completely decimated.

Mat was targeted by a power armor and then a second one, as well, both of which were using their SMGs against the white-haired infantry soldier. The shots rung out as they landed on the power armor bay's floor and the last power armored IYS Kaiyō crew member began running down the hall, stepping over the body of the Neko Hanna had freshly killed.
 
IYS Kaiyo - Engineering

"Eden, you out first. I'll cover your exit. The others should go ahead of us." Meissa only told her CO as she began covering their tracks through explosives placed along the sides of the entry doors to engineering.

While yes, it was important to respond to the threat inside of the power armor bay, it was even more important that Eden made it out alive with that box. Meissa could soul transfer. Eden could soul transfer.

That box couldn't.

Besides, her drones were just about to arrive in the power armor bay.

Meissa placed herself just outside of engineering, waving Eden to come through. Hanna and Yoshida would be a perfect vanguard for Eden -- the former having plenty of supportive grenades and the latter having the deadly suppression fire of her gatling. But while Meissa trusted that Eden could take care of herself, she wasn't up for risking Eden getting flanked from the back.

Eden said sharply to Meissa, "I agree with your strategy." Then she looked to Hanna and Yoshida, ready to move out after them. "Cover us."

That box. That box would be the death of her, but it was worth it.

It would all be worth it.

Power Armor Bay

Ketsurui Aikohime stood with her back to the door that the alternate Mat and Meissa had just entered. The massive white-and-red Kirie armor knelt in front of her, still dwarfing the tall Yamataian princess as it reflected the bay's bright overhead lights. Its luminescence was joined by her white-paneled jacket even though the girl's long mane of black hair half obscured it by laying in flat ribbons down her back. She stood there motionless with her long legs in a wide, shoulder-width stance that made her usually loose standard issue pleated skirt fall against her thighs. One red eye was locked on the intruders as they rushed in, her gaze having snapped over to them during the moment they'd faltered at the sight of her. The silvery blade of her katana remained sheathed in its alabaster scabbard for now, which was clutched tightly in her left hand.

"Tch!" Aiko spat, though her mouth just barely curled up at the corners. She'd been looking forward to donning her magnificent warmachine, but figured there was no less glory in fighting without it.

Rei, the loyal samurai retainer, moved in an instant blur from her position in front of her own Sarah power armor and ended up knelt halfway between the oncoming IYS crewmembers and her charge. Her eyes remained closed while the back of her right hand laid over the base of her own katana's hilt, sliding it quickly forward toward its tip before returning to the start, palm-down and gripped to strike.

"Iie, Rei-san!" the princess demanded sharply in the split second that she could, knowing nothing could stop the Ketsurui Samurai from drawing blood once her sword was drawn. Aiko turned and began unfurling her own blade even before she'd finished. "These are for me."

It seemed like the imperial daughter's katana extended on forever as she unsheathed it from its saya. After a month of putting up with polite deference to the traitors that inhabited this alternate universe — Neko who followed Eve's foul and perverted vision of Yamatai — Aiko was tired. She would have no more of it.

"This is the YSS Kaiyo, a ship built to serve Yui's blood!" she barked, pointing her sparkling sword at versions of Shinomori Matsuvo and Nashira Meissa that she barely recognized while she spoke. "Or have you forgotten where you are?"
 
"AAGH!"
Shouted the blue birb over the comm channels as he felt what could've been the worst feeling of pain he had ever experienced. Orion fell down as a neko jumped on top of him and stabbed him with said saber, he attempted to get back up, but then was thrown to the floor by the aether fire from a minkan.

Orion couldnt even move his body from all the pain he was feeling at the moment he was picked up from a wing by the armor clad minkan. With a shaky breath, he closed his eyes as said minkan aimed his weapon at him to finish him off...

Engineering/Hallways

"Yes ma'am. I won't let you down Shosa."

Hanna sprinted out of the engineering room and transitioned into a hover as she flew towards the power armor bay. As she reached the first corner, Hanna rolled to a stop, landing in a perfect position to throw herself into cover behind the chamfer of the wall.

The cyan Neko sighted her SMG and leaned out of the corner. Almost immediately, a target showed itself in her sights as aetheric energy began to discharge from the muzzle of Hanna's SMG.

Power Armor Bay

"No no no!" He yelled as he skid the last few feet to the PA bay door, and quickly entering. As he saw Aiko and Rei he froze in place, but unlike the IYS intruders he was shocked with reverence and joy. Inside his helmet, the Nepleslian boy was grinning ear to ear.

"They're okay..." he sighed in relief, happy at the sight of Aiko and Rei, but now he felt apprehension. He wanted to prove himself to Rei and Aiko. He held his swords out by his sides in a ready stance.

"My Princess, please allow me to show these cheap imitations what happens when they cross one of Yui's own flesh and blood." He requested, determination permeating his voice.

Yoshida did not like the idea of leaving Eden alone in an enemy ship. Of course, since Meissa didn't either, she didn't need to say as much clearly. As Hannah rocketed forward, Yoshida followed, even when no enemies were around she insisted on that pseudo sking pattern of movement, with her body low to the ground and limbs tucked in as she moved in the most un predictable pattern she could along a 2-d plane.

As she neared the bay, she spotted the oncoming armored neko, she switched the firing mode back to the default- and revved up. She quickly switched to the wall, then the ceiling in that same skiing pattern, before she started spraying down the hall, not halting for a second in her charge towards the bay.

Power armor bay

Mat groaned as he saw what was happening to Orion. He spared a few seconds to plan, then acted.

He charged at the minkan holding Orion's wing and with targeting assistance from his armor, fired his Aether saber rifle at theirs, hoping that this universe's shields weren't designed to protect the weapons as well.

As he impacted, he used the inactive power armor he was holding to ram his enemy, then set it up to protect him as he attempted to stab the enemy soldier through the helmet with the blade of his Aether saber rifle. It could cut through starship hull, hopefully it would go through power armor shields easily.

Amanozako cursed in a foul string of obscenities in the Mishhu language as the prisoners broke for it. She did not bother giving them a warning, like William had, rather, as they dove at her, she opened fire with her impaler rifle, holding the trigger down as she sprayed her attackers with blue-white scalar fire. The ones that did managed to get to her, Amanozako bashed with her rifle and kicked at with her boots and flung them off and fired into them. She would not let them drag her down or disarm her. It was now a fight for her life and she would kill them all.

Orion's Minkan pursuer was pushed away from the Elysian by Matsuvo and began defending themselves against the attacks on himself. Soon the Neko that was only just recently attacking Orion and had paused to let the Minkan take over shot Orion once more in the chest. The aether shot through the hole in his armor and splayed out into his chest cavity. In that instant, he had slipped from life completely and Mat was being shot upon by the Neko as she stepped forward, towards him and pressed ever closer. The power armors that had been attacking him continued to shoot on him and Mat would notice his HUD telling him to stop letting that happen.

Hallways

Yoshida and Hanna's dual press against the lone soldier made them take a step back. The power armored IYS personnel raised their photonic shield and shot from the side of it while being advanced upon until Yoshida was on top of them. While the power armored unit raised their shield to avoid Yoshida's fire raining from above, they were struck by Hanna's SMG multiple times and then the Neko lowered her shield to avoid Hanna's SMG, at which point Yoshida's target was struck by her while she charged towards the bay. The armor buckled and the photonic shield blinked out of existence. They shot out their forearm pulse cannon, though, at Hanna. They didn't have much life left, but they were still alive enough to continue to fight while splayed on the ground.

Eden followed Hanna and Yoshida out before pausing, looking towards the bridge through the hallway a few decks above engineering. Meissa would be able to notice the pause, but Eden herself barely registered the moment. Instead, she floated towards where she could return to the power armor bay and landed in the hall.

A voice chimed through the hallway from where Eden had only just been looking. "Stop right there!" Norogumi Misaki stood pointing her NSP straight at the device in Eden's arms. Eden backed up down the hall then raised her arm, forearm cannon ready. There was something about the way she raised it, though. There was a touch of hesitation. She hadn't fired yet, nor said anything. She just stared at the look-alike of her wife in disbelief.

Rei shook her head and raised her left hand, "Iie, Musuko. This is something the Hime must do."

Matsuvo and Meissa stepped towards their armors slowly, methodically, but were still a yard away from the pile.

Amanozako's opponents were splayed on the ground by her scalar bursts and one of them had their knee cap pushed out of its socket before ripping out of the skin as Amanozako stomped them clear of her. One of them was flung from her and they spread into thousands of pieces as she was shot mid-air by Amanozako.
