OOC [OOC] Acadia Discussion

I just realized that there's like four ways we could have gotten to the CC more easily. Oops. Let's just write that one off as Lilly having absolutely no forethought.

Which is absolutely true.

Also, aren't HRAYs designed to be stealth vessels? Why doesn't the Alder just try to cloak itself? Or drop its own AIF buoys, and maybe try a few flash jump/buoy drops to fudge its way into our AIF?

I'm going to become the mouth of callousness here, but I would say that losing the Alder pretty much out of the question. It's deep outside the interdiction field, and who knows how long those buoys are going to remain active? I would say make a run for freedom and let the Alder take out whoever they can before they go.

People are getting art. Paid out of my pocket.

MAKE SURE YOUR CHARACTER BIOS ARE UPDATED WITHIN THE WEEK.

More details to come later after I get a list of finalists to consider.

I've got art on the way from Zairyo thanks to Wes (or did you pay for that... dunno)

Anyways, updating history, yay. Let's see I've got the after-mission of Golding and... do I have to detail this mission, or can I wait till it's finished before writing anything up?

((Shore Leave, finished; Mission 2, pending))

So I just noticed that the "medicagel" Phaedra has been using wouldn't be used by Nepleslians...unless I am mistaken. Is there a form of liquid bandage (or normal bandages) that the marines would use until the medics arrive? Just want to make sure I'm using the right stuff, as I wasn't exactly sure what was provided by NAM aside from Constriction Bands, Medtech MED, and Medtech/Terratech TEK, which seem primarily PA oriented. Surely each marine at the very least would have a bandage of some sort to stop blood loss?

Oh, and as a side note, any Nepleslian with a decent amount of cybernetics should have this as their theme song. :D

I guess we don't have fleshed out tech articles in that direction, just pretend that there are generic stuff available, the bandage you used works.

Also be sure to check out recent development in Nepland, including but not limited to new official art slots by our Tom and opportunities for fleet action.

Just a bit of real world combat medicine but superglue is an excellent quickfix bandage/stitch. Knew a guy that got superglued for grenade shrapnel.

Thanks. Sorta what I figured, but there wasn't a specific entry. I was thinking that everyone would at least have some liquid bandage on them so they don't immediately bleed out until the medics got there.

Talbain is already carrying Morris out of the computer core toward the hangar. Technically, Morris isn't where Anslem is squatting currently; at least it seems that way to me.

I was going to have Phaedra go up beside them and escort them to the hangar, maybe Anselm could do the same?

FVS only does debriefs post shore leave so get back to the Acadia and rest up, maybe talk about the mission a little.

Because we'll be testing new gear later.
