OOC [OOC] Sakura Discussion

Soresu said:
Yuriko gave Ran a sidelong glance before spotting Midori looking her way. She would have gotten up and bowed low to the woman, but she doubted her legs would support her for long. Instead she bowed her head, and merely waited to see what would happen to her. All Yuriko knew was, she had been doing as she was told at the time. Either way, she resigned herself to what would come next.

Uh, she was ordered to return to the Sakura, and instead decided to spend her time lagging WAY behind Midori and fighting off pods instead of getting to the ship like she was ordered.

Yuriko should've just engaged her FTL and left the pods sitting there.

Midori: Get to the ship.
Yuriko: Meh, I'll do it later.
~LATER~
Ran: You should've followed orders.
Yuriko: I WAS FOLLOWING ORDERS

Firstly, She was following orders.

Secondly, yeah she was laggning behind. Now why could that be? Damage maybe, they had a head start on her? Both?

Thirdly, she was attacking the pods attacking Midori and her armor group which were ahead of Yuriko and behind Midori.

Fourthly, Subspace missiles. She did engage her FTL but remeber they were fired? So her FTL was disabled at the time so she had no choice until she could rengage her FTL.

Who is right is not important, so don't get in a fight, you two. >_>;

Go with what each of your characters believe in and stay that way. If you can't agree with each other, just agree to disagree. Battles are confusing, after all.

@Tiff: Eww! Don't use the nodal system to make food! It'll be full of nanomachines that will do weird stuff to your body (not so much the NH-27, but certainly a potential hazard to the other). The nodal system isn't very healthy to be around - it should be used sparingly,

@Everyone: ALSO, don't eat Midori or any other NH-27 or NH-28 - they're not healthy due to the same reasons mentioned above.

I added Megami's response.

STAR SYSTEMS ANALYSIS...

Samurai Sector:

System A - close to Midori Nebula - A mineral-rich system

Small Blue-White Star with 8 Planets

1 Gas Giant with 1 large moon
2 Large Planets with 1, 6 moons
4 Medium Planets 4 with moons number 4, 0, and 2, and a thin debris ring
1 Small Planet with 5 moons

2 med. planets have a methane atmosphere, 1 has Oxygen atmosphere.

The habitable world appeared to be quite mountainous.

System B - between Midori and Kosuka Nebula

Yellow Star With 5 Planets

1 Gas Giant with 7 moons
3 Medium planets with moons numbering 1, 1, and 7
1 Small planet with 2 moons (no atmosphere)

Medium planets have Methane, CO2, and no atmosphere.
The CO2 atmosphere planet has ideal conditions for plant life, or humans with oxygen masks.

System C - North of Ran Nebula - Mineral Rich

Blue Star with 10 planets

4 Gas giants with moons numbering, 3, 7, 9, 4
5 Large Planets with moons numbering 9, 6, 1, 8, 2
1 Medium planet with one moon and unusual atmosphere mix requiring further investigation to identify.

Sbuhfaba System

Red Giant - 20 Planets - Mineral Rich

9 Gas Giants
8 Large Planets with several moons each
3 Mid-size planets, one with a methane/oxygen atmosphere and ice climate
Extremely thick asteroid belts
Mishhuvurthyar mining colonies are common in this system.
A Mishhuvurthyar shipyard has been identified in this system.

Bufarks System

Yellow Star - 6 Planets

1 Large planet with sulfur dioxide atmosphere and 4 moons
5 Medium planets, three with oxygen atmospheres and two with CO2 atmospheres

A highly habitable system.
It is likely that there is life in this system.

Elisa: "What? No nebula named after me? :("

In all seriousness, though, it may in fact be a good idea to investigate some of these planets, and Elisa will probably bring that up ICly (since she's read the report).

Just as long as you guys stay away from the Goban, which is off to the right of the Tsuya Nebula.
No promises :P *likes it when plotships meet*

Note: The Sakura has been captured and is currently offline and hidden in a Mishhuvurthyar shipyard. No Star Army ships will be able to contact it during this time. All crew still aboard are captive in stasis.

*pokes people* Yo, post the last JP, somebody.

I gave everyone promotions except for Hanako (doesn't need one), Jo (she's a samurai), Miles (species restriction issue yet again), and the new char (not aboard yet). Since Elisa was mentioned a ton of times on the surveys as an awesome PC, she recieved the biggest promotion and is now an officer.
