RP: Bloody Claws Second Period - A Trip through Adversity

Cy'jiro padded off the bus and eyed his surroundings, he remembered the building from the orientation, but he was not sure what they were about to use it for. Following the other's he approached, heading for the door. Though he did not recognize the student council he could tell they had some measure of authority by their posture, perhaps a superior class, either way he could think of only one reason for any authority to be concerned with them and that was the behavior at the restaurant.

Bu'lla sighed boredly as the bus came to a stop, looking over from one side of the bus to the other. Then his eyes caught onto the uniforms of the student council through the opposite window. Immediately Kaui was pushed off the lap, over the seat and onto the floor as Bu'lla became a blur and pressed his head and palms against the glass of the window with a loud smack. He blinked once, and then came a smile so chilling that even those who saw it only from the side found themselves rubbing their arms at the cold, the giggle, that evil giggle, the mini evil laugh.

Through Bu'lla mind came a series of images so real he could almost taste the colors, of Aka being humiliated in front of her leaders, head down, of Bu'lla stepping up heroically, of the student council finally seeing him a clearly more worthy, and finally the crowning of the new permanent class president. Yes, yes...

Unable to restrain himself, Bu'lla pulled back on the smile and turned back to Aka, lips twisted uncontrollably into a miscreants grin. It was time for the reckoning to begin. However, the time was not ripe yet, Bu'lla knew merely acting up wouldn't do the trick, he had to show Aka as completely incompetent. Maybe more than she really might be, but that was the price of ambition. Bu'lla was going to bide his time, for now.

Kit'suki having not been part of the class until just a short while ago had no idea what might be going on. All he knew was that there seemed to be people perhaps waiting on them. He was well on his way to fallowing Aka out though he heard a thuds as Bu'lla shoved the girl, that had been on him till now, off and onto the floor. "Hey, are you okay?" he asked as he offered to help her up if she Had not gotten up herself yet.

"Umm.. Aka, Do you know what's going on? he asked the class president figuring she might have some clue as to all of this

Aka' rubbed the side of her chin with a finger, then turend toward Kit'suki and nodded. "I do, but I didn't think they'd do it today...." the young kit let out another sigh and then stuffed her hands into the pockets of her uniform, before turning toward the rest of the class. "Look's like we'll get a chance to have some fun today, maybe even let Bu'lla blow off some steam," the kit grinned in the older classmates direction, before spinning around - her arms flailing about and then she smiled at the student council.

"As energetic as always," remarked Zuu'cha, a 1st year Jui'ashen Daur who shook his head at Aka''s behavior. "But the youngling is right," the Daur wasn't much taller than Aka'a was - but it was quite obvious that he was much more mature, given he 'looked' mature and dressed well enough. "

Walking up behind him was the council president, a Laibe who was a few years younger than the Daur - but still much taller. Cee'chra cast a curious gaze over the students. "I'm sure you all know the history of the Bloody Claws - and thus you should equally know how well feared - or trusted - they were within the Aa'sha'fame sport. Thus, beyond these doors," the Laibe looked over his shoulder. "Is a training hall that will be used by our school to train the teams that'll take part in the sport. Bloody Claws was one of those classes chosen to take part."

Chosen? Aka' thought although showed no expression that she was thinking it.

"Thus, I'm sure you'd rather be having fun in a sport than sitting a boring classroom listening to a teacher drone on right?" Cee'chra asked, getting a glare from the classes homeroom teacher. "So, how about it? Let's have a match."

Ra'chel listened as she would rather be in class at the moment listening to some teacher drone on. But she kept her expression neutral as she listened. Wondering what how she'll act during the event as she fingered her pack straps as she she joined the Aka and the others.

Cy'jiro held back a sigh at the student council's behavior it was obvious they didn't have much choice in the matter of a match or not. "So I take it this is a test to see if we're...adequate to fill the shoes of the Bloody Claws class? That doesn't seem like much of a test we've never practiced together, when I'm sure you all have had plenty of time together, do we get some sort of handicap?" He wasn't sure how the council would take his statements but if there was a chance for an advantage might as well use it.

Kaui noticed the student council talking, but after a moment drowned them out. She went back to watching Bu'lla to ensure he didn't do anything stupid. It was only when someone stated 'How about a match' that she looked back at them. "A match? Oh...Uh...A match of what? I wasn't paying attention you were talking to much..."

Kit'suki was surprised not only that the student council was present, but that now they were supposed to have a match without any prior warning. "Are you sure we can fight before having any practice?" he asked mostly to Aka but the counile was more than free to answer him as well. "Then again I only just arrived to the class so I guess maybe there's already been practie for this." he said as he was egar o try and have a match as well. "What kind of match will we be having?" he asked

Bu'lla hopped off the bus, normally, through the door. He waited calmly and said nothing as the student council talked on, his ears perked at the mention of a Aa'sha'fame. He remained standing easily, smiling happily. The only outside sign of his excitement being his tail quietly swishing every few seconds.

It all seemed...very un-Bu'lla like.

The student council, with a smile, lead the class into the large domed structure - inside the class saw what appeared to be a small town nestled within; this town was comprised of dozens of different types of buildings including homes, a post office, a school, and even a City Guard station with otehrs interspared between them all. "We'll be having our match in here," remarked one of the council members as they headed toward a side room. "That room over there," one pointed to another door. "Is for you to use, there is equipment in there, including a body suit - make sure to put it on, choose any weapon you want, be it long, short, or even melee, but remember that the normal rules apply here," the President said.

Aka' sighed, placing a hand on her forehead in thought. "I guess we'll get ready," she turned toward her class, she could tell that some were nervous; others not so much.

Ra'chel followed with a foreboding as she listened to what going to happen. From her vantage point of looking down on the arena, Her subconscious analyzed the set-up as she ran through the million and one excuses to get out of the competition. But it was too late as she was already there in the Arena. She gave a soft sigh as she dragged her feet, lagging a bit.

She wished she was back at Duar'wyn Institute of Technology, her former school where this stuff was strictly on volunteered basis. She just shrugged when Aka turned to look at the group of them. The Motley Crew of Students from all walks of life thrown together.

Cy'jiro let out a soft sigh as he looked around the area, he had no real qualms about fighting, but to be expected to be good at it was another thing. It was not like he was not appropriately athletic for his age, he just had little confidence in his actual combat skill. He turned his attention to Aka' as he started moving towards their assigned room "They are expecting us to come out victorious aren't they?"

Bu'lla was the only one not to move towards the changing rooms. He stood there bouncing quietly on his paws, his tail curling to and fro easily.

"Who are we fighting?" He asked loudly from the back to the smirking student council members.

"I think so," Aka' responded with a heavy sigh and turned to look toward the council. "Although it just those four against us, I wonder how they'll manage to fight..." her outward thoughts were interrupted just then when she heard Bu'lla.

At Bu'lla's shout the council members stopped, with two of them looking over their shoulders at the Kit while the president didn't. At first the male just stood there, his arms folded over his chest, almost like he was thinking. Then finally he turned his head halfway, to where only a single eye could be seen. "You'll be fighting us, but don't think we'll go easy just because its your first time - you do out number us by quite a bit."

Bu'lla looked up at the older student councilman, smirking arrogantly as he replied. "It's not the rest of these kits you have to worry about. It's me you should be scared of."

With that, he turned and went to collect his battle kit for the match, planning how he could humiliate Aka and claim all the glory for himself in front of the entire student council. Surely if Bu'lla managed to beat the student council, he would be recognized and of course they had to give him the presidency. It all made sense. In his head.

Vin'cent's right eye twitched noticeably throughout the entire brief. His mind was racing at the prospect of even simulated combat. How was he going to get through this? Oh, certainly, a support role should be available. But there was still a chance that there were no combat roles that simulated medics. Perhaps he could ferry ammunition to the front? No, he wasn't a Laibe, and he certainly wasn't a large individual, so that couldn't work. The medically-inclined nobleman clutched his head with a concerned expression on his face, gently biting his lower lip. He glanced at Bu'lla's now advancing form, which was worrying, as his temperament may get him eliminated from the match early. He took his eyes off the Laibe and turned to Aka', concerned expression still on his face. "Uh... There'll be simulated support roles, right? Maybe a... Um..." He was obviously at a loss for words, unsure of what Navy Corpsmen used to field treat individuals, and therefore what he would be issued for this.

Ra'chel sighed and moved to the room to change into the desired uniform for the event. She added one more thing to her battle kit. Her twin swords, which she strapped to her back. As far as she was concerned, only two present had seen her in action with the swords and how deadly she could be with them.

Kit'suki wasn't well trained for Combat having gone in as a medic for his schooling. But he had been taught how to shoot by his brother so he took the pistol that was offered as well as the standard issued sword as well. He took a few Medical kits as well for if he had the chance to help someone. "Aka. I'm probably best suited as somoene's support like maybe you or.. Bull'a. "He really hpled he wouldn't be taking care of him if only for the reason he forsaw the other gettning downed in a wide open spance that would be difficult to retreve him from.

Cy'jiro looked around at his fellow students noting a rather uniform lack of confidence, it seemed as though he was not the only one that felt like they were out of their element. While he didn't care much for winning he didn't want to get embarrassed out there either, so he spoke up hoping at least some would listen. "We have the advantage in numbers, but it's not by much. It would probably be best if we played this one on the defensive. Not only does it look like most of us aren't fighters, but we have no practice as a team, I don't think an offense by us will play out well."
