"Well then, now I'm pretty sure I don't care Commodore." Noboru said once he was sure the detainment cell was shut and secured. He did his damndest to retract into the farthest corner of the cell and dissappeared into the shadows, then passed out.

(OOCly, I don't like saying this, but your character is likely never to serve in the UOC again...I'd consider writing up another character, as he may be in jail for a long, LONG time, or at the VERY least booted out of the Peacekeepers. What you attempted to do to build character is just to make his situation far worse than it was before. And there is nothing I can really do but play my character as I know she'd react.

I'm not picking on you, just doing what Yumiko would do to anyone who did and said such things.)

"Understood, Commodore-sama. Can I have confirmations on the numbers and injury types?"

Kichiro replied as he stood up to begin preparing tables and medical gear. It'd been a very long mission for him especially, worried about Yuki, Mist and the others while he was dutifully watching over medbay. But now, it was his turn to do his part, and he only hoped that we wouldn't have to face anything he couldn't handle.

(ooc: if there anything Lolion can do for Noboru like vouch his rank and standing in the UOC and peace keepers to give him one last chance with Lolion taking a personal hand at hardwiring some discipline into him or is it a lost cause at this point? I mean i know Lolion is in a bit of trouble at this point but he wouldn't like to see Noboru fall like that, not without at least trying to help. Besides it would help with "Noboru's grand rebirth and realization of self character" as his PC said he was planning and still give him a chance at keeping him viable. Just a though anyways.)

Lolion reached the shuttle with the wounded and left her in the care of the medics there and went back to the rescue site to help out more.

"It could be as many as a half dozen people...anticipate serious burns and crushing injuries."

Yumiko replied to Kichiro.

(OOC: He can speak at the court martial.)

(Ehh... There's an opening for the Ygg if Noboru ever gets kicked out of the UOCPF, right?)

(OOC: We will see what happens if and when the time comes...but for your attempt at character development...insubordination and snide remarks from your character aren't how it happens. You shot yourself in the foot, I'm afraid.)

Once Lolion had taken the wounded, Yuki headed back into the cave system, taking a bit of time to make sure she didn't take a wrong turn. It was dark and semi-scary, what with the unstable rock and lava and what have you.

Before long, Yuki had caught back up and was at the end of the line. She kept her sensors active, taking her own initiative to look for trapped soldiers. Once it was her turn to follow down the second unstable corridor, she did so.

The team heard a groan, and saw the faint reflection of a Power Armor...someone was stuck under the collapsed rocks, his arm crushed under a rock and bent at a very unnatural angle.

Mist had remained out of the way, but she would help whenever possible. Noboru's fate didn't seem to surprise her, as his attitude wasn't very professional in the military... or peace corp, or whatever the Peacekeepers call their military power. Either way, the former sprite tried to stay close with either Miyako or Yuki as allowed.

"Kage, take that one. Keep scanning for the rest there's at least four more." Miyako would let her handle the armour, and send more back if she had to. If they stopped the chance the other parts of the team would be in more danger increased.

She interfaced with that armor, to try and figure out if there was anything they could find out before pressing on through the unstable planet. Through the relay, she sent a text only message to Yumiko. Recovered another. Moving deeper.

Roken continued with the others keeping his eye on the sensors for any unusual activity as they went deeper into the cave, “forgive me if I’m speaking out of line XO but I don’t understand why they are here in the first place, were we the only team that left the vanguard?”

(OOC: They departed from the Compantion under Minami's command, Roken.)

The other Tenshi indicated the approximate position of the other units at the time of the collapse. The four remaining units were fairly close, and intermittently showing on sensors now. Eventually, they'd come to a massive wall of granite rocks, which had been shited and collapsed by the activity...the other armors were trapped inside this chamber.

Denkou followed along, putting markers on his sensors where the signals had been picked up, to prevent missing them. Miyako-san? If you need, I've marked out where the suits' signals are coming from, and I can relay it to everyone else so we won't chance missing anyone.

"Hai!" Mist immediately replied. The former sprite scooted over to the injured person and began to carry them away. Thankfully, her armor allowed her to carry more then usual, or she would've had a fairly difficult time with this important package.

"Damn. They would be behind a granite wall." Miyako noted as they were presented with the wall. She set her computer to estimating the probability that the cavity could be opened with another burst from her gravity strips, or that of her team all together at the same time. "We're fine, something is wrong with your suit if you're not getting that already after the update from mine."

"Kage, status on the second body?"

From what she could tell, there WAS no cavity...the people were completely buried in their suits...but the temperature was relatively low, indicating that they'd been shielded by the lava...

(DBL POST to get things moving)

Once the survivors collected thus far were on the shuttle, a second shuttle descended and the first returned to the Vanguard. The survivors were rushed to the Medbay...

"Cadet Wakahisa! We have injured!"

Both had crushing injuries, and the male's arm was broken in multiple places, as well has having a concussion.

The woman also had crushing injuries, and seemed to be in shock at this point. When the armor was removed, it was revealed that lava had seeped in and incinerated her left leg, leaving a cooling granite cast of the inside of the armor. Fortunately, the stump had been cauterized as a result, preventing her from losing more blood.

Noboru compared his current situation to perdition. And, quite frankly, perdition was quite easy on him!

First off, the cell was kept nice and dark, so Noboru could see perfectly well everything that went on in his cell (however, he had to rely on hearing for everything else). Secondly, it was nice and quiet so Noboru had plenty of time to do just about whatever he wanted- namely scratching brief little tidbits of poetry and the occasional "note to self" on the wall with a pen left in his pants pocket.

Most specifically he had time to re-sort his priorities.

(SEE TOSHIRO?!?! I TOLD YOU THIS WAS A MAJOR POINT IN NOBORU'S DEVELOPMENT :D)

He figured out first off that Yumiko was right; on the planet surface his reckless and insubordinate behavior was more of a risk than an asset, and his take-no-prisoners approach into the cave had actually done more harm than good; as a matter of fact missing the first soldier could have been a costly mistake.

Lastly; he decided that if he couldn't be on the surface, he could at least render aid from up here (or at least try to.) So he went to the door and stared out the tiny slat that was conveniently provided at eye level, stood on tip-toes and announced his attentions.

"COMMODORE YUMIKO! IF YOU CAN HEAR ME I CONSIDERED YOUR WORDS; AND YOU WERE RIGHT! IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP YOU OUT?!"

He continued to repeat the message until someone came along to either shut him up or respond to the message, or both.
