OOC YSS Kaiyō II Discussion

So yeah, you guys. I'm pretty much sure this is a briefing mission because the Freespacers had a lot of deep space pilots scouting further away from Kikyo than anyone else.

You can get info on where you're going next, but have to deal with space pikeys. I'm so sorry for the accents.

Just want to make sure I have it straight. They're being asked to move to a clean area, remove their armor, send the armor back to the Kaiyo in a shuttle, pick up other crew members, then return to the outpost?

Question for @Dumont.

The ulterior motive behind this thread will be revealed, but obeying orders not issued by your commander sounds awfully fishy.

I mean, if the Taii orders them to go in without armor, then that's what they'll have to do. That particular arrangement doesn't really sound smart, though.

If you really want them in there unarmored for some reason, they could pull back and return in their own shuttle.

I just wanted to check and see what's going on, since I see people ready to just walk in and go shopping in their gooey armor, which also doesn't seem quite right.

I was wondering the same thing but wasn't sure how to ask, so right now I'm having yoshida follow the group, and the free spacer speaker chick who may or may not be leading them to that other clean area.

Kaizen, a Japanese business term for continuous improvement and always moving forward with the best practices possible!

I'm leaving the plot because I'm unhappy with its direction. I would have stayed until a more natural ending point, but Ametheliana preferred I leave immediately. I suggest the simplest answer is that Navian is transferred to another ship in the Kaiyo's squadron, and will not likely be seen in the RP again for some time.

I might have used the wrong term for what I was hoping to accomplish there. When I said 'sound off' I was hoping for something like this:

A role call I guess? I thought sound off was the way to call for that sort of check in...but if someone knows the correct term I'm looking for, let me know and I'll edit it in.
