Meissa gives half wave

A short moment to wave back and another shorty enters the room, her pale magenta wings folded neatly behind her and her uniform comparatively in excellent condition.

"Hello there, I'm Santo Hei Arbitrated Shan. Pleased to make your acquaintance." A slightly cramped Elysian greeting follows, as expected.

"Hey. I'm Santo Hei Meissa. I literally just got assigned yesterday and have half an idea on what I'm doing. Apparently the CO is supposed to point me in a direction and I'm supposed to murder things."
Meissa stops and looks at the comparatively shorter Elysian, with her crisp, clean uniform and well-groomed wings.
"Guess I really should pick up on my uniform maintenance."

"So you're infantry? Well I don't have the same job but uhh, I was also assigned here yesterday." ^~^

Guess I really should pick up on my uniform maintenance."
"Hmm.... Yeah, yup! Being presentable is kiiiiinda important, at least unless you're actively doing a job you can't look presentable in. My father told me that a lot..."
There's a strange oddity about this one's eyes- one, her left, is very much like an emerald had been set into it, while the other is home to a deep sapphire. They twinkle in the light, only adding to the illusion.

Meissa's gaze seems to shift a little.
"Where are you headed? If you're not heading anywhere, guess I'll tag with you. The other Elysian on this ship seems to be pretty frosty."

"Hmph... I don't know. I'm just wandering around I guess, getting my feel for the place you know?"
She prepares to get moving again, whether or not Meissa looks ready to follow.

"Sounds like you need more sleep," Navian suggested to Anastasia, shrugging helplessly.
"Eheh, maybe I do." Anastasia looks back at Navian, still nervous looking.
"Well, I should get back to work now. We're getting close to finishing."

Navian nods, bows, and returns the way she came, with another glance at her Mindy as she walked past. The thought of testing it out did cross her mind, but she felt she wouldn't get away with it so easily... There were more eyes on her. Not much else to do for the moment, but scout out the rest of the crew. She exited the armour bay, and followed the others who were just leaving.

Meissa just follows. Not much else to do.
Well uhh... They wander the ship I guess. Usually Arbs has a comment for every dang room they enter. Not to say her voice is unpleasant, it's not, but when you hear it three times in two minutes in an almost one-sided conversation it can get old a bit quickly. Oddly enough she does' seem very social herself, only talking to people after they initiate the conversation.

Almost every comment is followed with a "meh" from Meissa. Just "meh."
EXCEPT FOR THE AMMUNITION STORAGE.
Then she goes around pointing out every last bit about every single explosive. Namely, name and type. Then appraising it for every last bit its worth.

she goes around pointing out every last bit about every single explosive.
"You uhh.... You like your guns don't you?"
Although she isn't one to shy away from the more dangerous tools in her life, she regards them with more of a concerned respect, knowing a fair bit about how easily they could tear the ship apart if even one detonated somehow in here. The munitions store is naturally one of the more heavily armored sections of the ship for obvious reasons but that wouldn't stop her from worrying. After all, she was trained in the field of expertise that allows her to be respectful like this, having detonated similar payloads from long ranges hundreds-nay, thousands of times in simulations.

After two or three stops on the tour, Navian decided to keep on walking, toward the bridge.

"No. I was just trained in the art of making things explode. Speaking of which, with enough strength you can pop the back of one of these-" she points to a decent sized torpedo, "-open by putting a little bit of strength on the thruster and shooting a foot or so above. Lets you extract the explosive. Good for, oh, twenty to thirty booms."

Yoshida waved bye as the group departed, having opted to stay behind and make sure she put her armor away properly. After that, she moved o, heading to the bridge herself once more, hoping she'd spot the captian again, or perhaps somone else willing to strike up a conversation.

That having been said, she once again wandered into the bridge, peeked inside, and casually slid on in.

"Well how about, you don't shoot the torpedoes as they're being loaded. I passed my check on not blowing us up today, try to pass yours."
She turns and starts walking back, this time taking a look at the medical bay.

"Hey, it's trivia. Besides, I know what I'm doing. Not like you should do it. But if you need some quick precision charges and only have torps, you can do that."
Meissa follows her out.

"Hmph." Is all she responds with, rustling her plumage in a way akin to if she were shivering.

"I'm going to finish getting settled in the lounge, if I can." She starts strutting that way, surprisingly fast for her size.

"I've already put my bags there. It's been pretty boring ever since then. Wanna talk more or something-or-other?"
Meissa follows along.

Bridge

Asuka, the ship's sensors operator, was on the bridge at her station, though no other officers appeared to be present. She was hooked in and resting her head on the console, occasionally poking it with her finger. Navian stepped in, paused a moment to greet Asuka, then realized she was oblivious and decided not to disturb her, searching the bridge herself. Yoshida arrived shortly thereafter.

Medical Bay

Arbitrated found Airi at her station, though the medic was busy counting supplies and reorganizing. Airi gave her a small wave as she stopped by.
