OOC YSS Sakishima Discussion

I like to think of as the two of them being DESRON2 personnel. Whereas everyone else is YSS Sakishima specifically. They're technically not in the same chain of command as the rest of the Sakis, but it's the flagship so that chain of command is sitting right on the bridge.

@Gunsight1, @paladinrpg - Regarding my most recent post, I made a couple of assumptions regarding medical protocol and Kaede's wound; namely, based on my interpretation of Paladin's post, the bullet essentially "grazed" the armor - enough to burn away the plating itself and damage the hemosynthetic layer (possibly the skin as well) underneath, but not enough to actually penetrate; once we return to the ship, I'll have Katsumi do a few scans to make sure that there aren't any armor fragments embedded in the injury.

@FrostJaeger Yep, that's a correct assumption, though I am also making my own assumption based on what solid munitions they might be actually shooting at us, following a shield stripping EMP ambush. If it would deal more damage than this, just let me know and I can edit it...
