New guy doing commissions

Hey all. I'm the new art guy who's supposed to do commissions for this site. I got the offer from Wes after posting a nudie picture I drew of Eri from School Rumble over at 4chan's /e/, and I'm currently working out the details with him. Anyway, since I don't have much of a portfolio, apart from some rather perverted pictures, I figured I'd offer to a couple of free pictures to make up for it. Since these are free, I'd prefer requests that aren't too complicated to pull off. Also, the better and more detailed the description, the better the chance that I'll actually get a good result. Looking for things to draw!

I've been itching for more practice sketching, so I tried picking out random articles in the 'Approved Additions to SARP' forum. Unfortunately the majority of them lack detailed visual descriptions or aren't very interesting to draw. So, if anyone has any characters, ships, armor, or anything remotely interesting to draw, let me know along with a detailed description, or not-so-detailed if you want me to wing it. But the whole point of this thread is for art practice and highly detailed descriptions make commissions harder, so detail is a big plus. Just in case there was any doubt I'm a huge fucking nerd...

It started with me making a couple of fake cards based on the Sakura crew and expanded to an entire work-in-progress set, complete with its own game mechanics. That's right, a Star Army Magic set. There is no doubt now. I use a program called Magic Set Editor for this. It's in a useable state but it's a bit buggy. Game mechanics introduced in the currently untitled set: Keyword - Command: Representing the ability of a commander to keep their crew at their best performance, Command gives all creatures you control other than the creature with Command +1/+1. The Macbeth RPG

http://castleparadox.com/download.php?game=800 This is a game about Macbeth that I did for English. Specifically, Act V, Scene VIII. Spent a good deal of time on this and got an A+. It's a short game because a scene in Macbeth isn't very long, that and I couldn't sit there playing a game for hours in front of the class presenting it. If you have a spare 10 minutes, give it a go, it's only about 1 mb unzipped, and it's pretty short. The zip includes a copy of the game, the executable, and a .sav file, due to the lack of a menu screen. COMMISSIONING INFO The service I offer: I am currently offering to make character artwork or 3d modeling/texturing commissions. Character artwork can either depict your character in a bust/chest area or upward, a whole body shot, a model sheet or a scene. These will usually be print resolution (about 8.5x11in at 150 dpi). My artstyle is currently heavily anime inspired, but I also took figurative drawing classes so I can go for more realistic. I use a cell-shaded coloring style with softer edges. [Writing] A Prelude to Revolution

5 flights both ways per week. I seen this little corner of space so much that I think I could fly this thing with my eyes closed. 8 light-seconds, Earth to Luna. On the cosmic scale, that's barely a hiccup. I do less than most suborbital transport pilots. Plot course, make occasional corrections so we don't crash into space rocks, and then spend the next 3 hours drinking with my co-pilot and mingling with the bluebloods in first-class. Avatars

I know that some people have some (avaters) and others just get them for when needed. I have a large amount of them and it's always growing, and the thought about sharing them with people who might want them to use hit me not long ago. Maybe it isn't one of my best idea's but it's a helpful one none the less. So I will soon start posting some of my own avatars that I have found or made from images mostly manga and anime focused and I might soon move into other areas with it (depending on how it goes.)

Equine and Forin Art (56K Warning!)

These have been approved by Zakalwe as accurate art that can be used with the Equine and Forin applications, so that's two less that have to be drawn. The grill is for easy access repair and maintenance, while the "headlights" are actually sensors and/or parts of the deflector array. Something I did in Flash as a bit of spare time work. It's some reference to my character named after my username which is named after me. (Wasn't bothered thinking of a name, so I used my own!) I have an new idea of a forum/site theme: It'd feature a friendly orange sun rising over a teal ocean at the top. Most of the content areas would be a light teal with black text, while the background would be a deeper teal. ADVERTISMENT CONTEST

Alright, so here's the deal: Star Army is currently going through the summer slump that all online RPGs go through every year. There are too few RP posts each day and several of the plots have died. Since the 4chan ads have ceased, the influx of new players has slowed to nothingness. The players who stuck around are excellent, but I feel it's time to expand this circle of friends, or at least make up for the roleplayers lost over the inevitable real-life schedule conflicts and such. We're doing well, but I think we could do better. What we need is some new players.
