With the maiden voyage of the fourth and final Kretor Scout Prototype underway, KdIS is proud to announce the successful exploration of three of our four possible systems: Himmel der Bergleute, Meltra, and Schongebiet Systems. The Motoyoshi family grants citizenship to the Adlich family. The Adlich are Nepleslian, but their son Corro Adlich perished over a year ago at the Battle of Murf, while honorably defending the system from SMX invasion. Corro was an officer of the Fifth Expeditionary Fleet and was a decorated Taisa of the Star Army of Yamatai. The Adlich’s attended a ceremony today at Motoyoshi-jo, the second palace and traditional home of the Motoyoshi Clan, on Yamatai, prior to their move to the Empress’ Palace. The ceremony was in remembrance of the tragic destruction of the YSS Namiko, in which Corro Adlich, Taisa and his crew faced the SMX and lost. The Empress described Corro to us as; “…a wonderful gentleman, a brave and dedicated soldier.”...

In a shocking daylight display, 5th XF Flag Officer and SIP Director Kage Yaichiro-Taii of the Akigumo Battlegroup was shot while on shore leave in Kyoto. This occurred at the Kyoto Spaceport, while many civilians were departing for HNI, and while 5th XF Officers were unloading on a rare time of rest and relaxation. The CO was in civilian uniform and off duty when he was located by Hikari Shigeru-shi of Hikari Industries, and after a VERY brief verbal exchange, the CEO pointed a Nepleslian handgun at the Taii. The Taii allegedly did not respond in kind, probably so the situation would not escalate into a shootout in a public area. Huge Blockade Surrounds Nepleslia The Star Army of Yamatai has deployed much of its First Fleet, under Taisho Kessaku Irim, to Nepleslian space and surrounded the Nepleslian homeworld. The move, indirectly authorized by the new Empress Katsuko via Star Army Commander Ketsurui Yui, is a sign of increasing diplomatic tension between the two major nations over Nepleslia's cowardly stance on the war with the Mishhuvurthyar.
