It is really important to me that we keep Star Army a place that's fun and that everyone can feel safe here. I'm bringing this up now because there's been some accusations made recently where member(s) have been accused of engaging in harassing behaviors like downvoting all of a person's posts, deliberately sandbagging their plots & ideas, and spreading negativity.

In order to save our readers the trouble of translating units of time and measurements in their heads, and to keep the wiki consistent, and to make it easier for struct to do its job (for listing events and so forth) we've decided that we should be using certain units as standard:

• Always provide the YE year of events - it's okay to also use local years too but we need the Yamataian calendar year next to it. This is a new policy.

Hey Star Army,

I want to give you a heads-up that I'm experimenting with a mod to the forum that allows us to serve AMP pages to mobile users, which is an extremely fast but somewhat simplified version of pages. This should allow threads to load signficantly faster and should start improving our rankings in Google and other search providers over the coming months because page speed is a ranking factor. You will be able to tell these pages by seeing URLs with ?amp=1 on the end of them.
