Hey Star Army!

Tonight I've been working on connecting the Star Army forum with our Discord channel! You'll probably notice a few changes!

• You'll be able to see new posts and conversations via Discord
• Roles on the forum and the Discord will be synced
• Your name on the Discord channel will match your forum name!
• Other stuff that I'm too excited to spend time typing!

This is a general reminder that, as admin of SARP, I have some tools to issue warnings and bans in the case of bad behavior, which we can use to help keep SARP an environment where people are mutually respectful and build each other up instead of tearing each other down. But these tools are not able to reach beyond the scope of this website. Places like social media, unofficial Discord servers, and Skype are not under Star Army's control. Effective immediately, you may now submit playable factions again.

In order for them to be approved, they'll need:

1. A wiki page for the faction
2. A character creation guide on how to make a character for that faction
3. About 3-5 players who promise to help with the faction (don't go it alone! 1-man factions)
4. A plan to generate some RP in the faction

I've seen that when people get frustrated with the site, they're often frustrated because of the Setting Submissions process. I'm really interested in making this part of the site a more positive experience for creative SARPers who have graciously put their time and effort into expansion articles to Star Army's setting and lore.

Hi Star Army!

18+ forums, which allow for adult content to be posted, now have the ability to optionally add a trigger warning to the post. I've implemented this using the Xenforo 2 custom thread fields option, similarly to how RP forums now ask for the location and date of the RP.

Here's what it looks like:



Triggers are available for abuse, torture, rape, and self-harm. Additional types of warnings can be added later if we think they're a good idea.
