Hello Star Army! We've had awesome an influx of some really cool new people lately, and now we've got to get them all into an RP thread! So I'm inviting the whole community, and especially anyone who joined recently or who runs an RP or a faction, to join me in the Shoutbox chatroom for a Star Army Community Meeting which will be at 9 pm Wednesday night (Atlanta time).

I saw in the Shoutbox where a new player was told that Open RP isn't canon. This is not the case and I want to clear up that misconception.

As I thought about how to explain it, I decided the problem was that, even after all these years of RP, we still didn't actually have a solid guide on how canon actually works in Star Army! It feel like this is big oversight on my part. So, I wrote up an article this morning that explains what Star Army canon is.

Star Army has different "levels"...

 

2015 went by fast and only hours remain. So I was thinking of the stuff that I want to accomplish on Star Army in 2016 as Setting Manager and head GM. These are basically my "to do" list and my new years resolutions. I'm posting them here for all you guys so you can hold me accountable or--even better--assist me with them where possible.

So, without further ado:

1. I want to develop and redevelop antagonist factions to a level that's never been done before, with detailed information...

 

As a general reminder, if you want to use an image on the Star Army wiki to enhance your article:

• You have to have rights to use that image (no random stuff you found on the web)
  • Images you drew
  • Images you commissioned (or "adopted")
    
  • Images you have the artist's written permission to use
    
  • Public domain images (e.g. NASA)
    
  • Creative Commons Licensed Images
    
  • Stock art you purchased and then adapted into something
• Images for Star Army wiki...

 

Two variants of our Space/The Ghost Nebula theme are now available, just in time for the winter and year-end holidays!

• Holiday Red is a festive red (with a little touch of green here and there) theme
• Holiday Winter is essentially The Ghost Nebula theme but with snowy forest background.

I purchased the background images from Dollar Photo Club (a stock site).
