I'm currently working on a the new chat add-on (Chat By Siropu) that is intended to replace the current Shoutbox (TaigaChat). You're welcome to go in there and test it out and give me any feedback you have.

One of the many new features is we have have multiple rooms.

• If you're a GM, you can make a new room.
• If you're a Site Supporter, you can make 2 new rooms.

There's a few changes to banners that I figured I should tell you guys about:

• Since Staff members were all Setting Submissions mods and Character Approval mods anyway, these titles were redundant. Now staff members will no longer display those banners, just a staff one.
• Staff members are all considered character mods and setting mods.
  
• As the only non-staff member moderating the character submission forum, Aendri has been given a special Character Creation Mod banner. His job is...

 

Star Army is now set up to use SSL. Note the little padlock icon next to site's name. This encrypts your traffic between your computer and Star Army's servers, so that people can't swipe your password, or eavesdrop on your smutty RP posts in the 18+ section.

Stuff to know:

• The site should work in pretty much the same way.
• http links to the site will automatically be redirected to their HTTPS equivalent.
  
• Don't hotlink images on the wiki. This is already a rule for multiple...

 

I've just added the ability to search your conversation messages. It is done pretty much the same as a regular search. Enjoy!

 

I was thinking it would help our roleplayers if we had a single place they could visit (which could be a wiki page or a thread) where all "open positions" and "wanted characters" were posted. This would save players that were thinking about making a new character from the slog of going through 21+ plot pages/crew rosters to find out who needs a medic character, etc. Maybe the page could be divided by factions.
