It's been no secret that we've had a stressful week. The Gartagens have been inactive for some time now, and in the interim they were adopted by Kyle and we'd planned to merge them into the Neshaten faction for cleanup, the way that abandoned/dead factions are often handled. But on the eve of this happening, their creator, Ira, has returned after a lengthy custody battle over his daughter, only to find himself in a new custody battle over his faction, and I've tried to mediate this with...

A lot of our communication forums hadn't been used in months and months, so I've been pruning them today (the forums only, not their topics).

March 4th ("March Forth!") is International Game Masters' Day and the day that legendary D&D creator Gary Gygax passed away. Today we honor all the Game Masters out there who are putting in the effort that helps make the roleplay possible by making NPCs, worldbuilding, plotting adventures, and working hard to make sure their players are getting a great roleplaying experience.

Currently "hot button" topics are not allowed in the chatroom because users tend to turn into buttheads when they start discussing them, and it tends to result in people becoming angry with nobody's opinions actually changed. However, there is a segment of our users who wants to allow that sort of discussion in the chat.
