Currently "hot button" topics are not allowed in the chatroom because users tend to turn into buttheads when they start discussing them, and it tends to result in people becoming angry with nobody's opinions actually changed. The Simulation Cup is an annual competition that’s normally called the Tournament of Simulations where role play games of different clubs and genres compete against each other in a friendly manner for several awards. Each participating sim submitted one mission/episode/thread that was completed during 2014.

In this competition, there were 21 entries and Star Army plots actually won HALF of the total prizes (!), which I think speaks to the high level of quality we have here.

Wiki images are supposed to, when it makes sense, have a transparent background so they can work on multiple styles (I know this is not implemented on the wiki yet, but still). I've made the wiki's background slightly transparent so we can tell which images need to be updated. If you see a wiki image with the solid dark blue background, please change it to transparent or link it here and I'll do it.

Edit: Please note that tables are not transparent and this is intentional.

 

I have installed a new plugin that will let you switch the wiki's theme. I did this because some people with visual disabilities like dyslexia have a hard time reading the wiki on the dark background.

I want to give a heads up - the newest version of the chat software we use has been reported to me as having a bug where people have have enabled the new desktop notifications are able to see whispers between other people, even though they're neither the sender or recipient of the whisper and they don't have permission to view the whispers in the admin panel.
