So Star Army has this huge selection of artwork which is amazing! Unfortunately, as was pointed out to me by a roleplayer reviewing the site, none of that art was on our forum index. As the reviewer said, this might give the impression that this is a discussion board more than an RP board. When combined with digging up the old headers and forum banners and the reaction to them, the need for artwork on the forum was obvious. So yesterday I added faction art to all major faction forums...

 

So the developer who made some of the add-ons was bought out by another developer, and today the new add-on maker rebranded and started charging for the free add-ons were were already using:

• Sub-accounts
• Ignore more

I don't really want to pay for these much and I'm thinking about just uninstalling them. So I want you guys feedback. Anyone actually using these in a regular way? I only know of a few cases where they're being used.

Star Army now supports two step authentication, via a code generator app or via email.

This option helps make your account more secure because, when enabled, other people would not be able to get into your account even if they have somehow stolen your password, because they would also need a code the regenerates on your phone or other security device every minute. I tried it out with Google Authenticator and it was easy to set up and use.

Good morning, Star Army!

I've been making some changes to the layouts of the forums, trying to keep things steamlined.

First, I want to lay out a few key points:

• Star Army only keeps forums that are active.
• Star Army keeps all old roleplaying posts.
• Star Army doesn't keep separate "archive" forums since a couple years ago.
  • Inactive threads aren't archived, they just stay in their faction's forum.
    • This resolved the problem of us having empty faction...
