I like the idea of this, but it does pose a problem as to what happens with frontier businesses that might end up breaking regulations and/or refusing to work with someone. A good example would be if Ken-TEC were to go out to the Colonial Expanse and start working with non-aligned planets (which do exist within the setting), but then started breaking laws that would warrant expulsion from Nepleslia. But if they didn't want to work/gain a license from any other faction, it does create a problematic thing.
The complete removal of independent possibility is good for the sake of ensuring no companies pulls and Origin and has all its plots/creators basically stop RPing/creating, but it does create problems for independent scenarios that might provide interesting RP in the cases that people don't abandon their corporations. It's not a bad way to point how this basically works, though, that corporations get licensed. Just need to figure out if we really want to essentially cripple the idea of a nation going completely rogue and off the rails if their creators are active and can make a non-affiliated/non-licensed vendor.
