OOC Eucharis Discussion

I figure the guns are about the size of a box of Hi-C fruit drink.

Due to the sheer number of the robots, I'm giving you permission to post for them as needed (including stuff like whether your shots hit). Have them give your characters (or other PCs!) hell!

I adjusted my post regarding hearing the drones in the ceiling and made it so that the sound was coming from around and below. I was reminded that above the ceiling is the outer armor of the ship. :P

>< I don't feel comfortable leading the drones, I apologise. I feel like I don't really know enough about the plot and whatnot yet to make crazy decisions.

That being said, if someone wishes to have things fire at/try to maim Ayumi, that's cool with me.

Much has happened in a day. I have some questions about my post too. Deziarra was on her way to the bridge which would be a high priority for the enemy. Is that too dangerous a place to go? What security measures, including NPCs, would be in place?

Hehe. Not in about 3 years actually. It seemed appropriate given the sort of mindset I expect these things to have.

Im the sort of person who naturally quotes this sort of thing anyways. Ah well it's actually the only scene I can remember from the three films.

The drones are accumulated not based on the ship's systems or control centers, but based on where the crew was, so the most heavily invaded areas are around the wardroom and crew lounge. Though there are some in most of the ship.

Wardroom, Stairway

Takeyu was almost down the stairs when he heard the sound of one of the drones firing its weapon. He looked in the direction where Kale was and noticed the little critter had gotten behind the crewmen, Takeyu tapped Natsumi and pointed at the critter.

He aimed carefully, so as not to hit Kale. "Once we fire, it'll more than likely enrage the other two in here, so we'll need to be quick in taking those two out." he said to Natsumi before slowly releasing a breath, and pulling the trigger and letting out a burst of fire on the critter.

This contradicts my post from this morning... :?

Wardroom

Just as the group got ready to move, the squat forms of one of the robotic drones turned the corner and skittered up the stairs straight for Takeyu, strafing the area with brilliant bolts of energy. Sienna, standing just below the top step of the staircase, immediately pressed herself back against the wall as flat as she possibly could, one of the bolts streaking past her close enough to singe her eyebrows and burn her nose.

With adrenaline coursing through her veins and her breath coming more quickly now, she glanced out into the room, her eyes settling on the smashed remains of the first drone and the chair Chieko had used to bludgeon it into submission. Among the rubble the seat portion of the chair was still relatively intact, and it even had a bar still attached beneath it that would make a decent handhold. More importantly, the fabric surface and thick padding wouldn't conduct a stun bolt.

"Somebody throw me the seat from that chair!" she yelled over the commotion, pointing, then flinching back against the wall as another hailstorm of energy bolts ripped through the air in front of her. Looking down towards Takeyu, she spotted a second drone turning the corner below and behind the first one, covering it with suppressive fire.

I figured she thought Eucharis crew shooting each other was entertaining. This is like the after lunch show!

Absolutely, she finds the crew shooting each other over petty squabbles entertaining, because it makes her feel superior to them.

When spindly-legged robots are shooting at her as well as everybody else, it's a bit different. I'm sure you understand. LOL

 8-) ;)

As Hanako reached the rear cargo bay door, she noticed it was now dipping into purple water. The giant lily-pad that the Eucharis had landed on was now sinking into the crater-lake and a flood of water was coming across its surface, washing away the black goo. Looking down into the now-visible lake, she now could see hundreds of other ships were trapped down there.

Ack! What are you doing to us, Wes? :o
