RP: YSS Aeon [Mission 4.2] - Help from below

Alice stopped in her tracks looking at Roken. "Are you crazy? We must take civvies to Zen. THey cannot go with us to the rescuers. That place is swarming with parasites, we would lead them to death. I ahve no idea why we are even taking them with us now. So either we go to Zen or I will take civvies back into our safehouse for the moment." She said, completely ignoring the chain of command. This stopped being about ranks when one of the peacekeeper Alice served with inflated and exploded on her.
 
"The most direct route from the Safe House to the Zen would be the most dangerous. That route is twisty, and goes through lots of piping and ducts. Too many choke points. In this case once we help the Yammies, I say we bring the civilians to us there and we make a run for the Zen. With their armor and ours we should be able to protect anyone from the squid babies."
 
"no choice we have to get to the rescue party first then the zen, I'm not gonna put the civilians at risk taking a direct route to the zen." Roken was still scanning his surroundings, the last thing they need to happen is for them to be ambushed so soon after leaving there safe haven.

"Ok once were in communication range we contact them on secure channels and let them know were coming to them and that we have civilians, everything else we can explain to them in person." Roken checked his suit sensors, a little nervous that its been so quiet, "I figured there would be at least a few wanderers down here even with the fighting going on above us."
 
At that moment the tactical HUDS of the Peacekeepers started flashing red, and identified three Star Army Daisy's in near proximity, they were moving ahead of the group towards the other soldiers. Then they turned around and started closing rapidly. Several NSD's were shown streaking towards the group.

"Well, looks like our luck couldn't last all the way. These must have heading to take out the SAOY folks, and picked up our signals." Chikai replied. "Let's take them down fast before they can give details."
 
"alright then, time to start this off with a few dead traitors and on the bright side we each get one." Roken smiled a little, rolling his shoulders as he moved into a more defensive position, "if they know were here we open up on them with everything, if they don't then we wait for them to get in close for the kill."

He kept his weapons at a low charge for the moment, hoping that doing so would keep him hidden...if it worked....which usually does not work.
 
Alice nodded and hid behind nearest cannon. Since her TEP cannons were pretty much her only weapon now she held both her hands in front of her chest ready to unleash both forearm cannons at the enemy when she get the chance. "I am ready, waiting for your mark." She radioed to Roken.
 
Chkai opened a power panel, and quickly created a cross circuit. "Don't move forward I'm preparing a welcome for their NSD's." he said as he thru a series of switches. The NSD as they approached were caught in a series of electrical discharges that came from the walls. The NSD's continued on on inertia and fell to the floor behind the Peacekeepers. "That takes care of them. They know something hit their drones but not what." He said switching off the power.

From the passageway the armor clad hostiles increased their pace. Within a few seconds they rounded the corner and were in visual range of the waiting Peacekeepers.
 
The NMX soldiers continued to advanced sweeping forward with the weapons looking for a viable target.
 
Alice was waiting fro the right time. Rokken did say to wait till get close. Alice was not sure of number of enemies, but she knew that she had two strong anti-armor guns on her forearms and that she should have element of surprise on her side. She was also sure they did not jamm or hear on their comms since Kenshin does his job good.

"Okay let's smoke them," she said on her comm. Even though they could not be listened she whispered. "3...2...1, LET'EM HAVE IT!" She shouted when enemy got close enough and then she leaned out form her cover unleashing both her TEP cannons on enemy.
 
Chikai fired a fraction of a second after Alice on the second catching his target with his TEPs as well.

The first two NMX soldiers were knocked backwards by the first assault, there armor heavily scored but still operating.
 
Roken followed the others lead, firing at the third as he noticed the other two get knocked down by there surprise attack. He switched his aim at one of the downed NMX soldiers, focusing his fire on there leg and waist not wanting to waste his time hitting them square in the chest or in the head till he knew they were disabled completely, "Nice shooting but were on the clock so lets finish this." Roken carefully moved from his position hoping to find better cover while he diverted some of the power from his weapons to his shields.
 
Roken's leg shot pierced the NMX armor eliciting a scream of pain and a splatter of hemosynth blood.

Chikai fired at the one NMX that was still standing not wanting to give it a chance to rebound. He fired his weapon just as the Mindy fired at him. His shields mitigated the worst of the damage, but his HUD reflected damage to his right arm. "Nothing critical.." he said to himself.
 
Alice would not stop. Fire till the enemy is still standing and fire some more when he is down. That is what she learned the hard way. She was still glad the enemy was in mindy armor though. It was more hard to kill zombies who used to be regular poepl and citizens of UOC.

SHe aimed both her forearms on the one the enemy armor that was still standing. THe other two were down for a second or two, but this one could still shoot.
 
Two of the NMX soldiers were down, the third one was injured, and fired its weapon in a suppression pattern while it backed away from the Peacekeepers.
 
Roken powered down one of his wrist cannons, diverting the extra power to his shields as he closed on the the injured NMX Soldier, "No one said you could leave!" He retracted the blade on the side where his wrist mounted weapon was deactivated while he continued to fire from his other arm, intent on killing the pilot up close if his ranged weapon did not job though the suppression fire from the injured armor forced him to move from cover to cover, Roken wanted this to end quickly so that they could move on with there mission.
 
The injured Neko desperately fired trying to hit the ever closing Roken. Some of her shots bounced off his shields, and the rest struck anything in the corridor. Then the Neko's weapon failed with a pyrotechnic flare.
 
Alice aimed into the hall covering Roken. It was pretty headless of him chargin like that. Tenshi was not know as the toughest of armours. Alice though it would be nice to have one of those Nepleslian armours she saw in vids. Though the lack of mobility would be bad too.

Alice did not date fire at the enemy neko since she could hit the Roken. Instead she checked the hallway. THere might have been more of them, or some of those that were already shot might play dead.
 
"Your mine!" Roken closed the distance quickly, reading his suit damage indicator as the wounded Neko fires wildly at him only rewarding her with her weapon bursting from excessive use as he stomped down on the injured Neko's leg, leaning in just enough to drive his blade towards her visor, waiting for the tip to bite deep inside before powering his blades shield. "This is for everyone you killed!!"
 
The NMX watched with abject terror as the blade slowly pierced its visor, and was driven into its brain. The body convulsed numerous times, and then went still.
 
"Attention any Peacekeepers. This is Shina Kim-Jôtô Hei of the YSS Aeon. We are here looking to evacuate any personnel. We have a number of Jiyuuan citizens that we rescued. If you wish to be evacuated from this planet. Please signal." Kim sent on what she knew was a standard Peacekeeper frequency.
