Cherry grimanced a little at her role of command. Her leadership skills were quite lax... Being that she never got the role to lead. Or really ever wanted to. Submissive-ness was a trait of a sprite.

Even a ex-sprite.

However, she didn't make a complaint. Instead, she set her HUD to show information of her temporary war lackey and ran out from the bay, jumping in a spread eagle style as if she had wings and dropping before letting her lift do its thing. Spacey model or no, nothing really... Changed between them. The only real change she opted out of.

Heh.

Over communications, though, she spoke as she gave herself a moment to stabilize and wait for her lackey, "Under no circumstances should you fire Aether weapons in these conditions UNLESS it is a hard target. Otherwise, use other forces to subdue hostiles. Aether does to much collateral damage and this is a civilian area. Same goes for missiles and other ordnance. Check your fire. And..." Her voice went a little lighter, "... Remember... If all else fails... It might be best to terminate Hanako and revive her."

It was a option, after all.

And with that said, she moved fairly quickly in a upwards direction to the east area, first getting a overhead view. She let her sensors down on the Star port, letting the HUD mark various targets on a low profile basis. She didn't want her vision completely submerged in semi-transparent tags, after all.

"Hai, Hai, Cherry-sama." Kim replied cheerfully as she followed behind the ex-sprite as she felt anything but while she recorded the events in her digital memory in order to transmit them to Misaki and Hanako at a later time. Did Cherry think she hadn't been paying attention during training?

"And what do we do when we find Hanako-Taisa, Cherry-sama, and we don't have to T&R her?" Kim asked, in the same cheerful voice. Let the woman think she was ignorant. If Cherry pulled her act together, then great. If she didn't, at least they'd have grounds to remove a soldier of lower quality from the Eucharis.

Yaichiro monitored the status and location of the Power Armor on a volumetric display, while also trying to keep tabs on the results from the other vessels...he was a little more open to the Samurai Sector abduction than he let on, due to the value of Hanako to any movement Uesu enacted (and any shortcomings of Hanako or Yui to save her on Yamataian space). However, the most likely destinations were still halna or Nepleslian space...

"Blackberry, please be ready to initiate launch procedures if ordered by the Mistress Shosa or Yui-Mistress Taisho-sama. In the meantime, stay in contact with the other ships of the second squadron. Ask them for hourly reports.

Blueberry-Heisho, please stay on alert. Hanako-Taisa was likely shot by a stun pulse of unknown intensity. Also, the enemy is armed with other weapons as well. We may need your expertise upon their return to Eucharis. Get the Medbay ready for emergency influx of personnel.

Everyone else, maintain a state of readiness should we need to launch or assist the Power Armor team."

Misaki changed her visual wavelength to display infrared on half of her vision, to improve scanning after looking for signs of extreme driving and any of the suspect vehicles as they floated over the parking lot towards the port proper. The damage to the fence could have been indicative of a forced arrival or some other struggle the (she hoped) Taisa would give if she woke up.

"Kage-Shosa, inform us if the SAINT team below find anything."

The XO clicked a message to her own team. "Keep an eye out for anything suspicious. Spread the formation based on..." A new formation pinged their suits. "...that."

There were several methods to search the ships that were being held, scanning and visual would work as well as spectrum analysis. If, IF Hanako was still there at all. The blue-haired soldier was hoping the kidnappers hadn't been fast enough to get off the ground.

"Pineapple." A message went through to the Golden Apple. "Fly a pattern over the spaceport, and scan for anything unusual. Be careful of incoming fire, in case one of those ships really is hot. Be prepared to support us."

Two of the SAINT nekos pulled a nondescript black plastic trash bag from the dumpster. Opening it up, they shined a flashlight inside and found Hanako's uniform, communicator, and golden pistol.

Their commander looked over the items with a scanner and then called Shosa Misaki to give her the update.

The SAINT girls began interviewing the people around to see if they'd seen anything.

There was one vehicle in the parking lot that was covered by a white tarp flapping in the wind. It looked like an SUV.

Valen had been silently following Misaki at this point. He finally said something though, "Madame Misaki, what would you have me do?" His voice over the comms was a little rougher then usual, but it really was more the fault of his accent then his own. Thus was the trouble of being an outsider of this nation.

Cherry raised a brow for a moment, silently wondering to herself when Star army began to field idiots... Oh well.

Without a note of annoyance in her voice of any kind, Cherry spoke to her lackey, "Then we retrieve her, of course. Field her with a weapon if I'm not there too, if you can."

She then randomly sent landed ships to Kim's HUD screen, continuing, "Inspect those vessels, I guess. Those are our orders. I'll take some others and we'll continue until we find anything." And she then dropped out of the sky to inspect a ship. Indirectly she scanned, of course.

After getting the report in from the SAINT team, Misaki's voice broke to the armour team, and the bridge of the Eucharis, "Hanako-Taisa's effects have been located, she is still missing. Expect to find her wearing something else, if anything. She is currently unarmed. Pedestrians are being spoken to. Proceed with your inspections."

Keying back to her squad, the officer spoke to the DAISY they had, since the technician was asking. "Check that vehicle with the tarp over it, Sasorix." Following that she noted the order they would check ships, provided nothing new could be gleaned from the SUV. She already was guessing the worse, that they were going to have to find her kidnappers somewhere off world at the risk of an intergalactic political incident if approached in the wrong way. Someone who knew where to find Hanako-Taisa so specifically was probably at least semi-professional, after all. Even if she thought their execution was barbarous at best.

Valen nodded, but since Misaki couldn't see the nod, he said, "Yes, Madame." He turned towards the tarped vehicle and proceeded towards it. Once he had arrived, the Yamataian used his DAISY's left arm to lift the tarp while holding his weapon at the ready just in case something hostile jumped out at him. Probably just paranoia, but you could never be too careful. Once the tarp was lifted, the entire world could see whatever was underneath it...

Beneath the tarp was a black SUV with tinted windows. Valen couldn't see what was inside.

Valen silently cursed as he couldn't tell if anyone or anything was inside the SUV. Maneuvering over to the driver's door, he placed his hand on the handle and gently pulled in an attempt to open the vehicle door.

There was a click and then Valen's vision filled with white and orange. The SUV violently and rapidly exploded, instantly shattering every window around, flipping nearby cars, and sending an enormous fireball into the air. People were knocked off their feet, stumbling, disoriented and deafened by the blast.

Shrapnel rained down as the flaming SUV chassis belched thick, glowing smoke into the night sky. A few of the other cars caught fire as well. The parking lot looked like a war zone.

The explosion didn't harm the Daisy that much, but unfortunately, the force of such an explosion was enough to cause massive damage to Valen himself. Not only was he blinded by the brilliantly dancing colors of red and orange, but his body was also struck by enough force to rip his right arm completely out of its socket.

The pressure also caused his ribs and hips to collapse and create several internal organ injuries. The unlucky Yamataian flew backwards with an exasperated gasp. Well, it was more like a cry of pure agony over the comm. His spine seemed to still be intact, but not much else. His neck was alright as well, but he'd have a horrible whiplash-like pain for a long while.. at least. Even his LASR rifle was in better shape then him...

Misaki threw her armour into reverse in an effort to dodge the explosion, she had been moving on with some luck, and her reaction time was improved over the unfortunate soldier. Damnit! She swore at herself, wondering what had evaded the scans.

"Pineapple get down to Sasorix-hei's location! I'm going to load him on- Eucharis Eucharis, standby for wounded. Team, be advised they have left bombs in the suspect vehicle. Proceed searching with the utmost caution. The officer though sped over to the DAISY as soon as it was safe to do so, bringing up his damage report on her own display.

Things were not so low-key. "Sasorix! Can you hear me?" The woman's MINDY landed next to his armor. "We're bringing in help. Yaichiro-shosa contact the local authorities. There might be civilian casualties here."

Valen coughed as a reply, at first. At least he was still alive... mostly. The Daisy-clad technical sentry's left arm had landed in an awkward position.. not one that would be possible if it had been in its proper socket. Other then that, there were no noticeable injuries. However, appearances can be deceiving. A few scorch marks and small pieces of embedded shrapnel were clearly visible on his armor, as well.

"It's hard to breathe, Madame.." he finally rasped over the comm. "My chest is tight, I don't think that I can move my legs and right arm, and my head is killing me..." The Yamataian could feel his neck muscles swelling. He probably had sprained something, but he was very thankful his neck wasn't snapped like his right arm.

"Understood Mistress-Shosa. Blueberry, prepare for incoming wounded. Sasorix-Hei has been caught in an explosion."

With that, Yaichiro ordered MEGAMI to route through PANTHEON and contact the local hospitals, fire department, and police force. He found that his access had been restored.

"Alert! Vehicle bomb detonated in Spaceport at coordinates 235 by 65 by 123. Possible civilian wounded. Please assign highest priority and respond, by order of the YSS Eucharis of the Second Squadron.

Site is a confirmed crime scene being investigated by the military for an alternate reason, please take precautions needed to preserve civilian life and property while being mindful that the scene must stay reasonably intact. Please do not hinder the Army's investigation if possible."

Soon, the scene had devolved into near-chaos. There were firefighters, national police, ambulances, pissed-off freighter captains, SAINT agents and medics, car insurance guys, and various Star Army and investigators from Yamatai Security Agency. Hanako was nowhere to be found and the trail was getting colder and more trampled on every minute.

Pineapple and Blueberry loaded Valen onto a stretcher and returned him to the Eucharis medical center, although Blueberry insisted that he'd be better off in a nearby hospital where there were real doctors and better equipment.

"...And to think I told them to keep it orderly and non-disruptive...now the scene's compromised." He sighed, contacting the Mistress-Shosa.

"Mistress Shosa, it seems that the scene has devolved in spite of my instructions to the authorities....Blueberry-Heisho also insists that we should take Sasorix-Hei to a true hospital for treatment. Do you consent to this?

Also, I've been monitoring the status of the 2nd Squadron ships, but none have yet to make contact with the six vessels which have already departed. What are your orders?"

"Roger..." Kim replied, her cheerful tone fading slowly into grumpyness while she moved to the designated ship as she kept the weapon in front of her, the scanner running while she moved. While Kim was usually a more or less easygoing woman, Cherry just managed to somehow scratch her annoyance buttons for some reason.

Just as the soldier was about to enter the ship indicated by Cherry as the explosion erupted. The sound and the aftershock was impossible to ignore, and not to mention the plume of smoke that wafted up from the scene of the blast.

"Damn it... this ain't your random thugs or mercenaries. They've got some high grade explosives. Likely military grade, if it managed to pass the scanners, Kurusu-Shosa." Kim explained over the Team's communication line while Armour's grip tightened around the SMG while she opened the hatch of the ship she had been ordered to investigate. If there was one thing Kim knew, there was explosives. Silently she prayed this ship wasn't booby-trapped as well.

Flying shrapnel and brilliant brightness brought Nana back to reality, everything falling on her head at once. Eyes widened, then -- she hadn't received an order specifically, so she thought it might be best to follow Kim for backup. Weapon clutched, albeit a tad awkwardly, in armor's hand, the technician followed behind slowly, checking for anything dangerous in.. well, the rear.
