Muttering as she disconnected from her MINDY armor and crawled out of the heavy exo-skeletal suit, Kim shook her head while dressed, and then wandered down the hallways of the gunship, feeling oddly weakened and fatigued for some reason. She wasn't tired from physical exertion, far from it. But she was still far from at her peak.

So, with nothing constructive to do, Kim was left wandering the passageways, with half a mind to simply join Misaki on the bridge, just to be close to her lover and enjoy that simple comfort.

Cherry stayed in her armor.

The entire time, in fact, after she was recalled she stayed in the armor bay. Or, rather, she sat on the very edge of it, half in and half out. Waiting for a call to be send out again, maybe.

However, when the ship began its rise back upwards to where it no doubt probably belonged, she stayed there. Never exited her armor, or even took it off. The ship would rise and the chill of space, as the star's light wasn't exactly hitting this portion of space until a few seconds later, would cover her armor's legs, before moving to the heat. She shook her head gently, and then tucked herself inwards, walking across the armor bay although still staying in her armor, waiting.

And then the ship did its poof into the realm of really fast speeds.

"If we have to, this is officially a mission after all. I'll think about sleep once we find her." Misaki noted. "I think they hid her in the 'meat' shipment..that requires refrigeration, and they could have put the cryo-unit..who would want to check through all that? It would have masked her infrared signature."

You did well on the ship. I'm glad I could depend on you. Misaki thought to Kim, noting that she seemed to be lingering in the ship by tapping the internal feed.

Swiveling the command chair to face Blackberry directly she asked, "Have we discerned anything else about the sellers of the ship, or has the interview not been conducted?"

"Not yet, Shosa," Blackberry answered. "Shall I dock?"

In a few minutes, the Eucharis was in the Albini System, with Pisces' snowflake-like structure ahead on the main screen. The YSS Asamoya, on automatic pilot, followed along and arrived a couple minutes afterward.

"Eucharis and Asamoya, you are cleared for docking at Docking Ports Alpha One and Alpha Two," the station radioed.

"Thank you control. Good night." Misaki sent back, "All right, dock us. Yaichiro-shosa go get whatever gear you need and let's not take the chance that ship has explosive traps, scan for those first."

Misaki sent along an update to the shuttle team with Fay back on Yamatai, appraising them of the situation while she was at it. The two ships docked with the station to join the 2nd Exploration Squadron, making ready to check the abandoned ship for anything that might lead them to the kidnappers.

The next thing she worked on was contacting the station to get Hanako's order loaded onto the ship. They could manage an upgrade if Nana had the plans, she imagined.

Docking was quick and easy. The ship connected in two places: the zero-gravity main passageway (for personnel transfers) and the cargo lift (to load the new supplies).

The Pisces Automated Freight Transfer System brought Hanako's Order from its hiding spot in Cargo Bay D41 all the way across the station to A01 where Eucharis was now docked.

The items that arrived included:
Entropy's Shroud System

Lorath Sensors:
Hyperspace and Subspace Monitoring
Quantum Sensors
Dimensional Sensors

Yaichiro nodded and quickly went to gather his supplies, including tools and sensors...he wondered how the ship's ownership battle was going...

Arigato, Misaki-chan. But there wasn't anything to it... just a couple of unarmed technicians, against a fully armoured MINDY. Kim replied mentally as she streched and wondered if she should head back to her bunk, Misaki's bunk which was closer, or the bridge where the XO was currently located.

Shrugging slightly, Kim turned off towards the bridge, and as she entered, gave a respectful bow towards Misaki. Just because Misaki was her lover didn't mean that she didn't have to follow the rules of conduct like any other soldier in the Star Army.

Any news, leads? Kim asked, still using telepathy to communicate with Misaki, preffering this private and intimate means of communication with the officer, rather than talking, which would be overheard by the rest of the bridge crew.

Nothing yet, we just got a whole bunch of new supplies. Yaichiro is going to investigate the escape vessel. And even if it was unarmed crew that's still something I couldn't trust to everyone. "That's odd. Akira hoverbikes? Charisma, did Hanako-Taisa contact anyone concerning these?"

She sent orders for everything to be sorted and stored to the sisters, and then began looking at what upgrades she wanted to perform while they were still looking for their missing CO based on relevance to the task they had at hand.

I don't think I'll be getting sleep tonight. She told Kim with a concentrated expression. The next concern for the woman was the other two ships in the squadrons, and how their crews were holding up. Pinging the rest of the ships she requested a report on their readiness and crew condition from the trio of Taiie ranked officers: Nishiyo, Akita, and Wada.

Nodding as she simply stood there, Kim didn't know of any comforting measures she could offer while in the public of the bridge as she simply gazed at Misaki, trying not to seem too out of place, or too occupied with her superior officer.

Well, I'm here for you, whenever you need me, for anything, Misaki. Kim spoke once more through the mental link, the message laced with compassion, affection, and comfort for her XO as she gave a brief smile towards the Shosa before it vanished again.

"Hoverbikes? Might be a stupid idea, but perhaps it might be a clue or something? At this point, we don't have much to go with as it is..." Kim said with a shrug as she glanced over at Misaki, wondering if she was thinking something along the same lines.

Who do you think is behind this? An organization? A private group with a grudge against the Taisa? Random snatch?

"That's odd. Akira hoverbikes? Charisma, did Hanako-Taisa contact anyone concerning these?"

"Negative. The Akira Hoverbike has only recently become available as Star Army standard equipment through the Logistics Request System. Would you like to order some? Our recommended allocation is two," Charisma responded.

"No, thank you. Put that into the queue though, please. We'll get it done as it becomes needed. Blackberry, I'd like an update on Sasorix-hei and the shuttle team back on Yamatai, please."

There could be several different suspects. There was nothing random about it; this was planned. How they knew when Hanako would be on leave was the part angering Misaki. She sent orders for the sisters to start with the entropy shroud, then work on silent running and worked down the list for the rest of the things they could do.

Yaichiro-Shosa, keep me appraised of your investigation, and be careful for more explosives and other possible dangers before starting in on it. The XO warned him.

"How are you talking to people?" Misaki's eyes strayed to Kim. Someone on the station might have seen something, after all.

Blackberry nodded, silently wishing someone would take the mission operations/communications station already. After a moment, she told the First Officer that the hospital said, "Valen was resistant to treatment and exacerbated his injuries, causing a delay in healing. He should be ready for transport in about 3 hours and fully healed in 12. Blueberry and Pineapple are standing by with the Golden Apple."

Blackberry turned to face Misaki. "Blueberry is our expert in sensors; I recommend that we get her back on board as soon as possible so she can work on the new sensor, stealth, and ECM systems installation."

Kaori and Kaede gathered up the parts they needed and went to work on hooking up the Entropy's Shroud system leaving Cherry and Nana as the two remaining available technicians (since Yaichiro was going to investigate).

"Talking, Kurusu-Shosa?" Kim asked, slightly caught off guard with the sudden and unexpected question as she turned to look at her lover and superior officer. The question also seemed a little odd to her, but who was she to tell.

"It depends on what you mean, Shosa, but give me an order, and I'll do anything in my power to carry out that order." She remained standing where she had been when Misaki had asked her question, as she continued to pretend not to pay too much attention to the blue-haired officer. That goes for stuff outside of work as well...

Yaichiro had gotten an ST backup done quickly, just in case, and gotten several tools and scanners ready, before leaving to scan the vessel for clues.

Acknowledged, Mistress Shosa.

Blackberry, what is the status of the auction? We have to keep this ship here.

He scanned the ship first for explosives and power overloads, before even attempting entry.

As Nana hadn't much to do but catch up on maintenance on a ship that probably didn't need any, she wandered about rather aimlessly after exiting the MINDY and making herself presentable again. She wasn't entirely sure how much she wanted to stay aboard another vessel that may very well have been blown to pieces before it was broken in, after all. Pausing mid-step, a map of the Eucharis would be pulled up, Nana briefly forgetting that this wasn't the Asamoya -- a fact that weighed heavily on her heart.

"I was just thinking the same." The XO nodded at Blackberry, "Recall the Golden Apple. I'd like Pineapple to assist Blueberry installing the Lorath sensors when she returns. Also: contact the station security and advise them to clear the immediate area around the freighter."

She punched a few keys, checking for the reports she ordered from the other ships in the squadron.

While Cherry wandered around, Misaki's face blipped into her armour. She was hesitant to assign her to any technical work, and contact with some people, even on the assignment she thought could do the soldier some good. "Get into a uniform and go interview anyone you can, in case they saw something. Split concourses and areas with Kurosora-Hei." Since Kim was standing next to the blue and white-haired officer, she heard it too. "Report back with any details you can uncover."

That just left Nana, whom she tracked inside the ship and was soon presented with a shoulders-up view of the officer. "Nana, while we have a pause I'd like you to take a look at the Lorath fusion kit and estimate how long it would take to replace the PRTGs (Plutonium Radioisotope Thermal Generators)with it. Report back on what you'll need."

"Yes, talking...as well as anyone who would want to talk to a Nekovalkryja, anyway." The officer smiled at Kim, feeling a bit wary. "I'll probably put all our technicians on some of the upgrades depending on the timetables, and how long it takes Kage-Shosa to find anything. Good luck." That sounded warm, right? A lot of things were on her mind. "To your task, Kurosora-hei."

If Blueberry finished the sensors early, she thought about having her and Pineapple take a few items from the nearby Asamoya. The MINDY 1H looked promising among other things, and she did want to get some time in one but using Hanako's personal model felt wrong to her somehow no matter which way she tried to convince herself it would be okay.

Blackberry sent YSS Nadeshiko a request to go retrieve the Golden Apple; since the starship had hyperspace systems and the shuttle didn't this would get Blueberry and Pineapple back in minutes rather than hours. To Misaki, she pointed out, "I mean no disrespect, Shosa, but Pineapple, as our supply and vehicle officer, might be best left doing jobs she is qualified in such as working on the STV or managing the ship's inventory and supply requests. Pineapple works hard behind the scenes to make sure Lime's kitchen is always stocked and the armory is fully loaded. Perhaps you can have her go get supplies for us from the Asamoya."

So far there were no updates on the ship sale.

Yaichiro continued to scan, getting a bit closer to the vessel...explosives, power fluctuations, anything which could help to explain the situation...he doubted it would blow, since the ship was being sold, but he could not confirm this.

As for the ship sale, he hoped that meant that his 25,000 KS bid was still the top one.

Mistress Shosa...may I recommend that someone ask if Pisces kept video records, or if the stasis container was sighted? We can also check the records to see who purchased the meat shipment.

The ship seemed to be using some sort of sensor jamming system. Sensors couldn't see what was aboard. In fact, a lot of the ships on Concourse D had countermeasures against scans. Worse yet, Pisces didn't keep video of Concourse D or records of any sales in that area. That whole section of the station seemed to be deliberately designated as a black market hub for the the benefit of Imperial Nepleslians and whatever opportunists came along to make shady deals.
