"Let's do it, snakeman." the grizzled Kodian grinned, allowing his comrade-in-arms to slither his way through the cold vaccum, the tip of the Separa's tail wiggling in such a way he felt as if he was being hypnotised following behind. It was Jamba's first real mission and he could feel the adrenaline pumping already, causing his hackles to stand on end as they drew up to the first hangar.
Like his scaled counterpart, the bear made a sort of romping-bounding motion as he boosted through towards the enemy ship. Chuckling at Abart's pistolhands, the grey furred not-so-teddybear trained his Aether Arrays across the remaining distance, HUD targeting reticle spinning as it calibrated the shot.
"Anyone home?" Ersus jested, gesturing as if knocking with his hands, the cannons lighting up with immense force. The energy of the raw Aether surging towards the hangar was immense and caused Jamba to recoil a little, having never shot them out of training. With the shot almost going wide yet hitting true in the hangar, Jamba felt as if he'd failed somehow. Like a part of him had gone, almost, his race instilled with such empathy to others he actually felt bad to have fired in the first place.
His upbringing in the wilderness of his homeworld Gashmere soon dampened the feeling but he was overwhelmed with an urge to see if he had actually killed anyone, though his inital horror at the realisation that he was a soldier was gone, hopefully for good.
His armor, however, was not equipped with teleportation as standard. Not that he'd need it if he was fast enough. Willing his NSBs to act as a sort of interference to any point defence that was being manned despite the boarding, Ersus was confident his shields had enough juice to keep him safe to cover the distance. "Catch me if you can, 'Huse-hei!" he played off with a howl, firing his engines hard towards the newly-toasted Hangar 1.
Hangar 1 --> Hangar 2
Despite his overwhelming confidence at being able to pull off the maneuver, Jamba realised a few seconds too late that he probably wouldn't be able to stop in time in the short distance inside the hangar. In no time at all, the Kodian was inside the ship, unable to stop despite his reverse thrust as he careened into one side of Hangar 1. The massive beast roared in a flurry of emotion as the thick metal walls of the hangar seemed to crumple and cave before him. Suddenly, there was no resistance and he was seemingly flying through nothing but air. Furrowing his brow in that split second, the bear barely registered the fact before slamming into one of the many containers inside Hangar 2, coming to a complete stop having punctured through one side of the container but not quite the other. He groaned a little, huffing and wiggling his nose in annoyance, lying there while his senses returned.
