"Yes my lady..." William replied, bowing again. He then went about offering the tea and snacks to the bridge crew. He didn't want to interrupt anyone while they worked, but it is what the princess asked him to do so he did it. He walked up first to Arbl. "Excuse me miss..." He offered her the tray. "Compliments of the princess..." He said softly. He looked back up and studied the lady. If he remembered correctly, her species is called Elysian. He never met an Elysian before...

Mitsuko seemed a bit relieved, as the others assigned to the away team seemed to be listening to her and taking this somewhat seriously. Well, a few of the Infantry Neko were playing around, rushing to see who could suit up the fastest...but Infantry Neko were hopeless in general. She kept those thoughts to herself, shaking her head to clear the image of a certain familiar face that was responsible for that sentiment. Moving to her own out of date Mindy II, she began to wedge herself inside. Those glasses were taken off at the end...eyes seeming to glow a sickly bright neon color, somewhat unsettling, without the tinted glass dulling the effect.

"If things go according to plan, we will teleport as soon as we disembark the Kaiyo. They should have no time to scramble PAs to repel us before we are close enough to attempt entry. The Kaiyo should be providing cover fire as well." Those glowing eyes were concealed by her helmet, wiggled into place before she nodded at the stream of information from the Bridge. "We'll aim for those hangars. Hopefully we will not need a Plan B...but...if entry there fails, we'll attempt to breach the hull here, where the one section of the Albatross connects to another." She marked the possible weak point on their maps.

"As for you...Reina, Muyomi, Leeta and Maki-Hei...you'll stay behind to run a round of diagnostics. Since you were in such a hurry to get into your armor, there is a greater chance for errors. You may follow when you are all sure there will be no mistakes made due to your haste. Understood?" Her glare at the four could be felt through the dented Mindy helmet.

Murakami had to select a teleporter module for her Mindy II, not having one built in, before moving to line up at the open Bay door. "Everyone else, ready up and sound off." She pointed to the closest team member to get them started. As the Taii gave another rousing speech, she mentally sighed and filed it with the others before responding.

"Bridge, please count us down once we reach 10 seconds to engagement."

Power Armor Bay

Now in his armor Orion stood up, he tried to not think on all the ways he could screw up.
He replied to Meissa and Carter after he took a deep breath.
"Got it"

Carter took up his position next to the bay door, alongside Mitsuko. He took another deep breath, and said "Teleport charged, weapons armed, shields at full capacity. Nito Hei Dynamis sounding off."

A moment after she was offered the refreshments, the smol blinked. Looked at them. She gently yet expediently relocated something that appeared to be sweet and a single steaming teacup to her console, placing them on a napkin of narrative causality. "Much appre- Princess?" The angel-like person stiffened in such a way as if she were momentarily electrified, yet not looking behind her and instead continued to decipher the data she has been receiving. Internally she noted, 'new girl is a princess, why the heck do we have a princess on board?', while on the outside her small frame began an unceasing rigidity in form. Even Arbitrated's cherry-colored wings stopped twitching for the moment, folded neatly behind her as they were.

Bridge

William smiled at Arbitrated's shock. "Yes Ma'am. Her majesty Ketsurui Aiko." He replied nodding to Arbitrated. "Good luck in the coming battle." He said before walking off.

He then walked towards Misaki and Eden. "Please pardon my intrusion." William said bowing to the Taii. "Would either of you care for something." He said presenting the pair the tray.

Yoshida turned towards the bay door and stepped up alongside her fellow infantry, still almost unnaturally still compared to her usual bouncy twitchiness. She stood silent, for a brief moment as she mentally counted the seconds till the beginning of the up and coming engagement. "Nito Hei Yoshida... Ready." She listened intently as the rest rattled off on the comms, taking a few, deep breaths, untill she heaved the Aether Gattling Rifle off of her shoulders, and gripped it with both hands, a hip level. One on the trigger, and one on the grip about in the middle of the gun.

Power Armor Bay

Anastasia steps up to the line, alongside Yoshida and her giant new gun. She stood at attention, speaking clearly.
"Barlow-hei, ready to deploy."

Meissa snapped her fingers. Her Wing Pack drones floated off the ground and docked themselves on her shoulder mounts. She calmly marched over to the bay, where she began warming up her teleport.
"Nashira-hei, ready."

Orion nervously walked/ran over to the bay positioning himself aside the others
"Santô Hei Orion, ready.." he said with a slightly nervous tone. He held his sniper rifle in his right hand, safety on of course.

Mat turned his head to look at the newcomer. He saw that Orion had chosen to use a sniper rifle. Offering some friendly advice before joining, albeit after stumbling over a small lip in the floor, the rest of the ready infantry, he said "I don't know of a sniper rifle is the best choice for combat inside a ship, but you know your skills better than I do. What's your name by the way? You look new around here."

Misaki looked over and gave a small smile, "Thank you." She turned to where she could use her free hand to take one of the cups and carefully placed it down on the empty side of the console that Eden was sitting at before taking one for herself. She smiled once more and turned back to observe what her Captain was doing, slowly rubbing her shoulder with her free hand and spoke softly through their touch,

"We are the Star Army Yamatai, but ever still, even the best officers need to calm their nerves."

Irit had had to scramble for her own racked MCAS with the red diamond shoulder markings; her junior, or kōhai as Maki insisted, had been slated to go in with the first away team. Then the ebullient neko had managed to get herself bumped back to the second wave by irritating the Heisho... So she had to move faster, securing her medical gear filled general equipment pack to the dorsal mount of her armor and adjusting her SMG grip. Luckily enough, the wingless woman had already been mostly kitted out for her place in the follow-up wave. Even taking her time she had been dressed out almost as fast as the Santo Hei Mafia.

"Alright, now don't lose that pack," she was chiding Miyako, "It has all of the extra bandages, hemosynth, and hypos we might need if this turns into a blood bath."

When Mitsuko called roll, Irit was just about at the end of the room reminding Maki how to check casualty tags. Something the neko was undoubtedly familiar with, but, the older Elysian considered this an excellent time to reinforce certain information. As the names got closer, she finally joined the wider world, "Joto Hei Postumia. Standing by."

"We'll be flying in close to deposit the away team and get some hard and fast shots in, then Arnbjorg-hei will bring us far enough away to keep landing shots, but not so close that their power armor will have a chance to board us," Eden said calmly to all crew members. To the squadron leader, she asked, "How does that sound?"

"Like a plan," Catherine Ross said. "Meet with the rest of the squadron's positions after your power armor team is out. We'll pick them up upon the destruction of the battleship."

"Hai!" was all Eden replied with.

Ito Arbjorg looked to Taii Teien Eden, "We have thirty seconds remaining until we make contact!"

"Boss," Eden said. "In twenty seconds, start the countdown."

She put a hand on Saki's as her XO rubbed Eden's shoulder, saying gently over telepathic messaging, "You remind me of what I easily forget. Thank you."

She moved her hand to pick up the teacup and sipped it, then closed her eyes and waited for the real work to begin.

Soon, she heard Boss' countdown begin in Yamataigo. On the away team's HUD, the countdown appeared in arabic numbers.

"Juu, Kyuu, Hachi, Shichi, Roku, Go, Shi, San, Ni, Ichi!"

The firsthand visuals came in of the battleship, carriers, and bombers, alike, and were relayed to those on the away team and on the bridge. They were concentrated about 100 kilometers away from the Kaiyo.

"Shan!" Eden called, hoping the weapons operator knew what she was asking of her. "Away team, you are cleared!"

"Alright, let's blow this noodle stand!" Meissa shouted as the countdown reached zero.
With a whoop, Meissa vaulted herself out of the PA bay and targeted her teleport right on the hangar bay. She immediately primed all weapons and set her Wing Pack to act like four big guns surrounding her.

William nodded. "Good luck in the coming battle." He said quietly and moved out of their way. He moved and sat the tray down and stood off to Aiko's right side and a little behind. He bowed deeply again. "Anything else that you require of me, your grace?" He asked softly, his eyes closed.

Mat teleported into the spacious hanger with the rest of the away team, sending out NSBs to help him with their blasters while he began to clear away the avian inhabitants of the large room with his wing mounted gun drones and his SMG as the rest of the team arrived.

The L'kor reminded him of Elysians, if Elysians had gone down the wrong evolutionary road. Killing them was still killing, but it didn't feel quite as bad as killing a less ugly being.

Irit waited a moment for the more heavily armed members of the party to jump. Her loadout was almost purely defensive, countermeasure pods on her legs and shoulders occupied by a capacitor/energy cloak combo. After the first few disappeared, her eyes fixed on the distance, she triggered the teleport.

L'Kor Battleship Hanger

Arriving, she immediately turned outward to engage any of the avian-like enemies with her SMG as-needed. Something about the craven birdlike beings offended her sensibilities. Not just the fact they'd be willing to ally with the Kuvexians either. In the end her primary roll was non-combat; as soon as enough of the infantry team came into existence she'd move back into a supporting position with a hand on her scanner.

On command the Kaiyo exploded in the good way: targeting the nearest enemy carrier, all the primary weapons fired in perfect synchronization before the individual refire limitations caused the volley to turn into a deluge of hellfire. Primarily the weapons targeted the approximated base of the tail-like sections of her target, in an attempt to forcibly disconnect them from the main body with the potential effect of collisions with other enemies. As this plan began to be executed, the Nito Hei brought the secondary turrets into the fight, gunning down any enemy armors or missiles she spotted, from all the targets in front of the Kaiyo. Splitting her focus on so many systems as she did has resulted in a drop of accuracy, most notably for the point defense units.

Yoshida revved her gattling gun as the count down hit zero, and teleported the instant afterward. With an explosive shockwave, she warped in with the other blood thirsty eager fighters like meissa, with the others only milliseconds behind, or ahead. She chose that moment of relative peace, as her weapon still readied for the remainder of that one half of a second, to take stock of the situation, but didn't let go of te trigger.
