“Understood,” Vec said, trying not to let his frustration show. This felt like the kind of intel they should have had before docking. Any time they wasted could have been some time another ship could have been in and out. He raised his hand in a patrol halt gesture, “If you’re telling me this, I’m assuming Alpha has no way of contacting them, or you would have already.”

Disengaging from the conversation, he killed his helmet speakers and opened a comm to the Resurgence,”Hey Ops, we’ve run into a bit of a snag. We can’t get into the ship’s hospital without help from a doctor, Jun Caeyara, over on Beta can we send a shuttle for them or somebody with their access codes?”

He caught Ohara’s eye and mouthed patience, then set about practicing what he preached.

Port Hope

High Note, the 171st’s Intel Officer disembarked at Port Hope with a gaggle of clerks, logistics officers, and Field Controllers laden with comm equipment in tow. Her orders were simple, even if the process wasn’t. Port Hope was doing its best to update the responders on what was going on inside the Ark, but it wasn’t enough. Bungie was worried that in their rush to be helpful there would be a great deal of wasted effort or even situations where out of place responders slowed rescue efforts. She needed to find out who was coordinating efforts on the Norian side and create a ship wide fusion center of sorts. They’d need to do similar things for each of the other ships they were allowed on. Some might have thought it would slow down relief efforts, but they couldn’t afford mistakes. “Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast.” That was the mantra of special operators from time immemorial.

She recognized Queen Rin from Furball’s suit footage. “Highness,” she said, raising a hand as she approached, “Do you know who’s coordinating the refugees on your end?”

From the darkness of space nearby the fleet of ships around the bioships a blue line appears and then slowly opens into a window roughly 60meter tall by 40 meters wide. The blue window started to move backward as a ship starts to appear from the blueness as the craft dropped from hyperspace, the window closes behind the craft. If any of the forces that are already there would look in her direction they would spot the ship identifier as the ISS Sobek a Merchant Gunboat, and her weapons were powered down all but the small laser turrets at minimal power settings if there was debris in the path of the ship. However, there might be two ships that would recognize the ship as one from Sood Zadra in the UX-3 system.

Lenna would look over the reading and then whistle some " Damn would you look at the size of some of them ships Niki?"

Nikicon looks at the readings that she was getting and nods " Yea and they are living ships too, one is hurt very badly and dying it looks like."

Lenna pulls up the sensor readings on her console and then blinks "Well damn that is not good." after a pause the says "Welp better let them know we are here to offer assistance, with moving people, and start to unload the rations you got. I still can't believe the money you got from that photoshoot Niki."

Nikicon smiles some and then nods, "it is one way to give back for all the help I have received", In truth it was a part photoshoot and part being the spokesbunny but she'll let Lenna think it was all from the photoshoot.

Lenna moves to pull up the coms system on her captain's seat and then opens a channel to the fleets before them as the hyperspace drive finishes winding down and charges back up. "This is Captian Fuji, Lenna of the ISS Sobek. We are here to offer assistance with evacuations and also have a cargo hold with rations if needed. We are awaiting vectors to unload the rations, and then begin moving people from the arks. We also have medical facilities onboard if needed. " Cutting the coms circuit Lenna looks over to Nikicon and then says " Set the maneuvering jets to monopropellant mode only I do not wish to blast any of the ships with fire when docking. "

Nikicon nods and then moves over to the engineering console and taps in a few commands and then looks at the settings as she nods " all done Captain, we are ready to go for monopropellant mode on maneuvering thrusters. "

Sanda explored the surrounding area where the Res had docked with the strange ship. The area seemed secure. Sanda didn't say anything as Vec gave instructions, but she thought it would be better to talk to the locals and get a good idea of what they actually needed then to just assume and go charging in. Better to wait a little and get a sense of the situation.

As the area was now secure, the Res could begin unloading the supplies they had brought. It looked like Beryl and Sakuko were already beginning to unload the supplies from the ship. Beryl's suggestion of finding some MERN soldiers sounded like a good idea. "Keep unloaded Beryl." Sanda said, "I'll see if there is anyone nearby to give us directions." Sanda sent a quick update to Tachiko and the Res as to what was happening. The medics had left the area heading to the hospital area. Techs and logistics were unloading supplies. She was going to find someone to direct her to where they needed these supplies most.

Sanda didn't have to travel far to find someone. She ran into a group of Norian leading about 30 children to another area. Seemed the ship was dying faster than anticipated and they had been forced to move to another area. After speaking briefly, Sanda thought it be best to go ahead and get these kids supplies now. She again contacted the ship. "Resurgence, this is Thunder. I've found a group of children. They've been forced to move to another location aboard their ship but they look like their in pretty bad shape. I suggest we get them aboard the Res ASAP. Meadows can probably find them room in the dojo or VR room and set the environment controls to best suit them. She can also process them so that they are accounted for. I'm heading towards the Res now."

One of the nurses came over and gently shook Rakel. The white haired healer looked at them. "Yes?" She asked softly. "We are getting unconfirmed reports that help has a arrived." Rakel sat in the chair for a bit more before pulling the needle and tube out of her arm. "Then i shall be ready to greet them." Her arm was already being wrapped up to stop the bleeding and she reached over to grab the IV drip that was feeding her water but a hand stopped her. "No you mustn't you have given a lot of blood and need to recoup." Rakel nodded her head. "If these new comers come let me know."

Zeck craned her neck looking out the cockpit at the ships. Zeck's mind worked as she looked at the ships but she couldn't make heads or tails on the things. "Captain, Zeck not sure if can help fix ship. It look alive, should have brought veterinarian yes?" Zeck turned her head before smiling. "I make joke it funny yes?" She pointed out the window. "Cent tell where mechanical or alive, but Zeck did get some Lorath bacterial batteries maybe help yes? Maybe Zeck go and see if help."

Naika's thoughts were interrupted abruptly as Uaeso's arms coiled around her. Immediately she leaned into his form lovingly with a singular soft sob. This privacy, however brief it may be, provided a moment for the walls holding her emotions in to fall. His admission of exhaustion fell upon her heart with intense sorrow. He had endured so much, what could she possibly say to soothe him? Their vesper bond surged sharing her deepest caring concerns and emotions with him without saying a word. Whatever may come she would endure alongside him. Her eyes closed resting in his embrace, hoping against everything that this moment could last. Although she wished this private moment would continue, it was doomed to end and she began to mentally prepare herself for that inevitability.

Aunaera just shrugged, "Don't worry about petty things like offending us right now, we don't know each other yet - apology not needed," she replied to Chiasa, "I'm Aunaera, or Lieutenant Irys if you want to get formal," she introduced herself. She turned her attention from Chiasa to answer Vec, "I'm sure someone is operating mobile communications, just things are a little unorganized. Different areas of Alpha are closed off in isolation mode to maintain life support, I could message in but we're probably better off just using your assets to get us there, I'll come with you to Beta if you wish?" she asked, then looked down briefly at the display mounted to the forearm of her tactical suit.

Port Hope

The Tal'Cel turned to see the Star Army Officer, "In a perfect world, I would be. Just with Alpha dying it's really hard to coordinate much of anything. I have MERN soldiers placed in key sectors to try and help your people lead people to your ships. Some areas in lockdown have become inaccessible and I'm working on getting some engineers who can break the seals. So in short, I'm in charge - just I don't have much in terms of resources," she explained. Rin's calmness was cold, it was just how she was. Her crystalline blue eyes glistened as they gazed around Port Hope. She said after a moment, "How can we help you? I can try to coordinate something from here -We really do need to get people off this Ark, if it dies we're all going to suffocate," she said with a little more force in her voice.

Hospital

"Don't think that is going to happen..." one of the MERN soldiers said as he passed Rakel, "The bio-seals are bundled up tighter than the Aestasys' arsehole in winter. Alpha is dying, she can't open it. If we cut it we risk more injury and other sections. Hopefully, someone out there will think of us. " The green-haired soldier popped his helmet down on the chair and eyed Rakel's arm, "You've given enough, you give anymore you're going to be shriveled up like Hu'aboske left in the sun too long," he rummaged around, opened pouches, after a moment he pulled out a ration bar and tossed it over to her, "Found it, you're about a bump away from taking an involuntary nap, eat up," he said.

"Ma'am, another contact. Ship don't match the design ethos of the Star Army. If I were to make guesses though it appears to be a cargo vessel," the tactical officer said as he momentarily took his eyes off the cluster of readouts in front of him, then returned his attention to them, "Not a threat, I will keep an eye on them along with the sea of other ships out there, it would sure help if I had a few more sensor palettes online, I have two up, six down and Aiathogu's natural senses are all garbled due to Alpha," he briefly sounded his grievances.

Aphelion nodded, she didn't really have time to address the other officer's concerns but she noted them, the communication with the ISS Sobek opened, "Welcome to the mess, Captain Fuji. I think the Yamataians have the medical under control, but the rations could probably be best used on the Gamma Ark, I am sending you coordinates and an IFF translation for the clusterfuck that is in this operational field. I will also send along the fact sheet on what you will be walking into. I sincerely thank you for your offer of assistance, I can only wish we can someday repay it," the Admiral said, then added when she watched the lift access open, "Let u know if you need anything, Aiathogu out."

"Good to see you awake, Princess,"
Aphelion said to Naika, then gave just a slight bow forwards as her right arm crossed her chest and her fist closed over her shoulder to salute both her and Uaeos.

Uaeos already regretted the lift doors opening, the conventionally built niranium structure melded in with the fleshy walls of the Leviathan. "Has anyone seen Enandra?" he asked, then stepped up to the operations table knowing the question didn't really need to be answered, he brought up the communications officer's information, and opened a communication, "Aelol Enandra Lunari, report to the bridge," he ordered over the open channel then closed it, "We will take her with us to Pisces," he then sent out a text-only message to the two Taisho (@Ametheliana ) and (@Wes) - 'To: Star Army Taisho, I would like to go to Pieces Station along with the first group of evacuees along with a small delegation, please let me know who can accommodate. Signed Respectfully, Voli Uaeos Caeyara, MERN Aiathogu.

"Naika, if you could, open a comm with Katara on Beta? we need to make sure she stays out of the way until my father sends the all-clear," Uaeso said, trying to get a handle on everything that was happening.

Lenna looks over toward Zeck and smiles some " yes yes you did. I have no clue if that would work. I would ask once we dock if they would be of help. " After receiving the fact sheet Lenna would nod some and then says " Ok looks like they are light sensitive, but other than that they are like us. Ok, Niki lower the lights to half the current level." Then pulls up the ship's speakers and then says " Attention crew, we are lowering the level of the ship lights, if you are needing more local light then ask Sobek for a higher local light level. We are going to be docking here in a short time, please get ready to offload the rations and deploy the seating deck in the cargo hold to make it ready to take on passengers for transfer to where they need to go. Weapons are not allowed outside stun weapons."

Nikicon moves over to look out the windows at the large living ships frowning, seeing how large they are, it reminds her of her home. Sighing softly suddenly getting really homesick. Before she moves to pull out a can of Zap soda and opens it to take a few sips of it before turning away from the windows and heads over to the helm before sitting back down.

Lenna looks over to coms and then says " ok setting IFF now, and inputting coordinates of the Ark that they wish us to dock too. Let's go ahead and start to move over there now, Niki."

Nikicon nods and starts to move the ship over toward Gamma Ark. "Ok, um do we have a contact for that ark, or was that the one that contacted us?"

Lenna moves to pull up the coms circuit once more and then says "I am not sure, but will find out." Opening a channel once more to the Aiathogu, " Aiathogu, this is the Sobek, do we have a contact on Gamma Ark to coordinate with for the transfer of rations?"

Inside the main body of the Sobek

The craft starts to move over toward Gamma ark as the 4 rows of engines at the rear of the craft light up and start to push the modified gunship. The last turrets are placed onto standby as Lenna decides that there was enough ships around that she'll not have to worry about needing point defense active. Several hired crew members start to move to the cargo bay as they ready the bay for offloading. Sobek's main drives turn off and it starts to slow as it nears Gamma Ark puffs from the maneuvering thrusters help to slow and adjust as it starts to look for a larger docking port that would allow offloading the crates of rations. Unless the Coordinates specify a certain docking point on Gamma Ark.

Naika moved sharply to return the salute from Aphelion, as she quickly crossed her right arm over her chest touching her shoulder. Her head dipped slightly, "It is good to see you still with us Admiral," Naika greeted in return. She remained stoic with no outward sign of the fresh wave of guilt that singed through her. Norians suffering the threat of extinction and starvation while she was in stasis would be hard to cope with for the foreseeable future. Heavy thoughts cleared from her head to focus on the tasks at hand.

For a moment it seemed everyone was tasked with doing other things, which left her a moment to silently observe ongoing operations on the bridge. Uaeso's request drew her attention back over to him. It felt good to have a purpose, to be productive again. "As you wish Uaeso-ko," she responded to him with a soft nod of acknowledgement. Naika stepped up to the operations table and opened a communication to Akelost Leviathan Hybrid Ark Beta, "Tal'Cel Katara, are you there?" she asked. Hopefully the woman survived the ordeal their population endured.

Completely oblivious to what was happening well away from the biggest flurry of activity, Akina regarded Commander Aisold warmly and saluted in respect, "Thank you Commander. We're ready to take anyone at any of the ports we're already at, ships of various sizes will be docking presently as well. I am Shimizu Akina, you must all be exhausted. Welcome!"

"The ship behind me is my present flagship, she will take around 19,000-20,000 per trip, not including patients."

The Taisho paused, dipping her head to an officer in passing that she recognized, "If you have any injuries or want doctors to operate from there until the operation has concluded, please let me give them priority boarding. It can handle a massive amount of casualties. Our hospital task group is already docked with their main vessels, we gave them priority, everything else has gone to our largest vessels and those with specialized airlocks." An arm was directed behind her, gesturing to where they were sealed to the giant husk, and without gesturing she sent a message to her 'escorts', both of whom faded into the crowd to help people as she originally planned.

"The smaller ships load more quickly, at the very least." Akina was eager to get the process started, she hoped to make at least a dent in the number before the two other ships started to empty. Back on the bridge of the Mazu, the First Expeditionary Fleet started to direct incoming and outbound ships from Beta to make it one less thing for Hanako's staff to deal with.

"Do you have any questions for me before the Queen arrives? I will have at least one person at each airlock coordinating with the ship they are connected to, so the flow is easier to driect form this side.", There seemed to be two flanking the main airlock leading to the Mazu given the flow they expected.

Task Force 48, Minori-1 Hospital:

"Well, fuck.", Ayano muttered. The doctor began pacing back and forth in the dimly lit corridor outside the main entrance to the hospital on the deck she was on. She was anxious to get some patients in her hands, even if it meant she had to manage the rest of the staff before herself, and still run that organization in the background between herself, the bridge, and then let the bridge liaise to the fleet.

She really wished that her suit had a coffee dispenser.

Enandra was in her crew quarters finishing the braids after having to redo them after working out before her shift. She had just finished changing into her uniform prior to doing her hair. She heard the communication, and she blinked turning away from her reflection before opening the door and making her way through the ship. She knew she needed to hurry because it wasn't often Voil Uaeso called her to the bridge personally and she still had a few minutes before she was supposed to start. She moved quickly thought the halls keeping her head down as she avoided people, so she wasn't slowed down. She moved quickly so it only took her a few minutes to reach the bridge and she stepped in standing tall raising her head as she spoke "Aelol Enandra Lunari, reporting for duty as instructed" She moved further on to the bridge her eyes roaming around as she analysed what was happing to see if she could determine why she was called for early.

Chiasa offered the soldier a smile after she introduced herself, relieved that she hadn’t offended the Norian or done something untoward. The tiny Nekovalkyrja hated nothing more than the idea of giving someone a bad first impression of herself. Moreover, the opportunity seemed open for her to visit Ark Beta, after Vec received the necessary clearances or alternatively, gave her permission to go alone.

“I’m Santô Hei Ohara Chiasa, Ohara-Hei for formality. Your military’s equivalent of a Private, if that is the appropriate term.” She replied. “I appreciate the escort to Ark Beta. Once my commander is finished, we should be able to get going, Lieutenant.” Chiasa finished.

Simultaneously, Chiasa flashed a transmission to her CMO, seeking permission to go to Ark Beta on her own if it was impossible for him to come too.

Rin nodded, it would seem their saviors had it down. The Yamataian efficiency was to her satisfaction, she even accepted her own wristband...

Akelost Leviathan Hybrid Ark Alpha

Breathe.
One...
...two...
...three.

With one last sigh to push all of the pain she felt down into a little ball in some recess inside of her that would not contain it forever, another MERN soldier stepped into the throng of progress towards where most of the activity of the leviathan was now focused: the airlocks.

The Norian hoped that her eyes were not puffy, she had not had much time to grieve or to do anything else it felt, since she came aboard to help. She ignored the eyes of the other soldiers and civilians drifting towards her and pressed on, ignoring the urge she suddenly had to rub her eyes with the back of a sleeve. They might look even if she were not one of the few Caeyara Ysi on board she would get looks for how her unusual (though not unheard of, more uncommon) hair color seemed to lean against the level of light in their ships.

Indeed, she was nowhere close enough on the line of succession to have to have fought very hard to join the people on an Ark, though some more insistence had been levied to go on this particular Ark. It all had to do with her Aunt, she knew that much. Any family made her feel better with her mother gone, and she was glad to be kept busy when she was not even sure how or where her funeral would be able to proceed.

They had help.

Arina Caeyara began to feel a small wellspring of hope when she caught sight of all the different kinds of people, and many with ears like hers or theirs, but fuzzier move in groups to get their people off the gasping living ship.

One of her hands came to rest on Rin's shoulder as she approached her from behind, "What else do you need? Are they being kind? What are they like?", She asked in their mother tongue, swallowing a lump in her throat. When was even the last time she had bathed, or slept? It felt like forever, somehow, and that her entire life was just inside their giant lifeboat, rather than how time had truly passed.

Thia smiled at Aunaera when she offered a welcoming nod. Then she looked from the MERN to Chiasa and finally to Vec as they spoke. Thia knew that she should stick with the group, but she couldn't help but feel like a vestigial appendage, while her curiosity at what lay deeper in the ship drove her forward into its beautiful, fleshy interior.

"Hello," Thia called out as she cautiously left the group. "Is anyone in need of counselling? Or just someone to talk to? I'm sure you must be scared, but we're here to help."

Beryl and Poppy followed Commander Reitian into the Church of the building and Beryl couldn't help but gasp as she saw the rows of babies lined up under the arms of the giant statue, which she hoped someone would also be able to save. While Poppy checked on the tiny Norians, Beryl quickly took a 3D scan of it so that she could fabricate a replacement if she needed. Then they both started loading up the babies on the grav gurneys Poppy had brought. Poppy placed a small bio-monitor patch on each of them to monitor their health and vital signs for safety purposes. She called back to the ship and told Sakuko and the engineering section to immediately set up a nursery in the ship's science lab. She also called for a few more random crew members to join and provide manpower. Once the babies were loaded up, Poppy and Euikoshi and navigators Benna and Gabriela helped move them to the docking tube, where they passed Vec and Chiasa and Aunaera and heard them talking.

"Our power armors are equipped with teleporters that could allow us to access isolated sections of the ship, however they're not something you want to use within a few meters of people because they make a loud, hot boom on arrival. If speed is a factor, though, it could be handy," Gabriela offered.

Meanwhile Beryl asked Reitan if there were some kids or adults nearby who could use the snacks and bottled water she brought. She thoughtfully gave him one of each and a reassuring smile.

YSS Eucharis

Taisho Hanako replied to Voli Uaeos Caeyara and suggested bringing about 200 evacuees to the YSS Resurgence, which was saw was already docked. She gave captain Aoba a heads up as well.

Vec’s message was met with a hiss of comm static. He stifled a sigh, and turned to the lieutenant. “Well it appears that I can’t get through to my own chain of command. I don’t really want to have my people displacing all over the system, but seems we’ve gotta be a bit old fashioned about this. Ohara,” he said, addressing the tiny Pharma Neko, “Take the LT back to the Res, grab Hachirobei and have her fly y’all over to Beta. Make it quick, we don’t need to be blocking more than one docking tube.” If somebody complained, he’d say the same thing he always did:I made a command decision.

Port Hope

High Note decided to be patient with the Royal. “I understand that, Highness.," she said, assuming a parade rest, "We don’t need resources, we need our people to be talking to each other. Let’s start getting more groups of refugees tagged and moved towards docking bays like this one. We can get engineers to you that can help break seals. The problem right now is that even after the vanguard arrived, more ships seem to be docking without much direction. We can have a much faster flow of manpower and refugees if whenever a ship docks, there’s already a sorted group of refugees ready to board. And, if that crew already has a clear mission. They can bring generators, create areas that are temporarily livable. Over all, make this a smoother process with minimal wasted effort. If you need communications equipment, I can send people with gear to support your officers. We can do a lot, but you and your officers are more familiar with this ship and your people. We can feed all of that up to the Eucharis and we’ll know who to task where and they can hit the ground running.”

High Note paused and took a breath, “Sorry for the tirade, Highness. It’s just that for an airlift like this, we should have the smaller ships at least docking, loaded, and leaving in a matter of minutes.”

Engines lit across Shurista's surface as it began to rotate, gyroscopic forces being utilized and twisted as she seemed to slide through the wrong axis, her continent sized bulk beginning to slide forward towards the swarming rescue ships as more cruisers seemed to break away. Her bulk was normally more than most who had never seen a megastructure of such age and status was prepared for, but it was soon to become just another tiny blip, as the recently rebuilt Turassiel Flotilla shattered spacetime like a breaker ploughing through ice as it slipped from Hyperspace.

Even from this range, Shurista was easy to identify as the smallest of her sisters, nearly doubled in diameter by the mighty farming and shipbuilding hub that Turassiel prided itself to be. Fuel tankers started running interference, restocking Senti and Yamataian ships as the pair of sisters casually slipped into a rhythm. Shurista's song never stopped, never skipped a beat as she made her approach, her gently spinning mass growing larger in viewscreens.

Most Senti responding had never seen two Flotillas in the same place, let alone two Originals, and the psychic echo of worlds worth of burial steel mass mirrored, amplifying exponentially as the Flotillas sang to each other and the Norian fleet.

"To all Star Army Vessels. This is Juras of Turassiel. We apologize for our tardiness. Baby Sister Shurista may be mighty, but she is mostly scrappers and miners, and she is small, not freight haulers and fuel manufacturing as our capability. We will ensure all involved fleets have fuel and foodstuffs. Our Grand Library was destroyed in the attack two years ago, but we managed to salvage many of the agriculture domes and almost ten percent of the Grand Library's data to date. Also, our help may be limited, as we are still below forty percent population, and our Reactor Tree is below twenty percent power. All of our able bodied citizens are currently deploying to assist. We cannot allow our own wounds to keep us from service to the community at large. Nepleslia may not have been happy to see us burn up a few of our drives to get here, though. To the refugees, more help is coming. We detected two more fleets en route. Early scouts identified the Belmont shipping fleet, and the Katamuran fleets returning to the Flotilla. It's possible that they will offer support. Sacusanti, Jutares, and Minoque are also offering supply chains. Shurista, your daughters offer their aid."

"Acknowledged, Turassiel. Shurista is currently burning at 217.85 kiloG towards the fleets, we will drop to drift velocity momentarily, and be decelerating in eighteen minutes to better support Yamataian flag vessels. It's good to see you. You wear your scars well, and make us all proud. Fleets are redeploying, and many of our tugs need fuel and water. We will communicate those to you momentarily."

SDC Himiko cautiously approached the nose of the mighty biological warship MREN Aigathou, her thrusters lighting for brief puffs of thrust to match velocity and direction, her swirling belt of debris being gently funneled to the docking webs of the mighty warship as Senti crews finally deployed across the hull, rapidly working to hook up power and vital systems. Similar actions were played out across the fleet as various cruisers scanned and triaged the Norian ships, singing safety and pressing their telepathic echoes to the communication networks, letting the Norian ships feel that Senti ships were alive as they were.

Exotic radiation levels from Alpha would be increasing at this point. Its likely communications within its 1AU sphere would start to be disrupted, heavy interference.

Aunaera said quietly, "If this Leviathan dips too much further into its death cycle, you won't be contacting anyone. Even your communications will go dark in its vicinity." The Lieutenant reached back and drew her battle rifle and handed it to one of the other MERN soldiers as the previous communication said they could only bring a pistol onto the Yamataian ships. She checked her QPP, its holster restraint, and the backup ammo cartridges she had on her tactical suit. "Ready to go," she said in response to the fact she would be taken to the YSS Resurgence and then to Beta to find the good doctor.

She turned to the one asking about counseling, "They could probably use you at the Church, a lot of orphans in there," she stated. She also heard a comment from Gabriela as they passed, "If your teleportation gear is based on transposition technology, I wouldn't risk it. The Leviathan's organs are leeching exotic particle radiations, you could come out looking like a scrambled egg," she warned.

Church of The Builders

They had taken the babies first, the younger children and teens waited in the pews for the group to return. Many of them were terrified, but they had been terrified before. Some of them had witnessed the events surrounding the deaths of the rest of their Ysi (family), many of which were eaten by Asune Dimensional entities. The priests and priestesses continued to assist, bowing and vehemently thanking the Yamataians that had come to help them.

Port Hope

Rin listened to High Note, the soldier seemed well-informed and yet ill-informed at the same time. She didn't blame the Yamataian, she just wished she was on the Aiathogu to help Admiral Aphelion who obviously had her hands full. The Queen closed her eyes briefly, and crystalline blue apertures disappeared behind her lids as she took a deep breath, "Your communication equipment is on par with ours, soldier. The emissions from this Leviathan are going to increase, and eventually, that won't work either. On the other hand, I can send MERN soldiers out to duty stations to assist with the stream of people toward the evacuation ships, it is just going to continue to take time," she said, obviously not very used to such a tone being taken with her. She immediately started giving orders over vesper, and groups of MERN soldiers waited to dispatch from Port Hope to help with the flow of people as High Note had recommended, they waited for the soldiers that were promised to go with them.

"No need to be sorry," she said once the work was done, "Efficiency is the cure to every apology," she unholstered her sidearm, set her QPP to its lowest setting and fired once into the air, "Ais o eisi shael aelaleraer, tydaesari shor si Ostaral mylos. Thylyrn saes ailelol eil o shor shi sajael mystaedali mari!!" ("If you are being evacuated, cooperate with the Yamataian soldiers. Follow their instructions and you will be taken somepalce safe!") she announced at the top of her lungs. She then reholstered her weapon and looked at High Note, "You're welcome."

She had just finished her little speech when her niece Arina laid her hand on her shoulder, she turned around and replied back, "Nice enough, but I think they're out of their element which can be expected - not every day something like this happens. They have incredible faith in their equipment though, to the point I don't think they realize they're staring a twin in the eyes," she said in Nira'las with a slight tone of humor, "You alright? I know I could go for a glass of cacelle and a bath," she said.

Commander Aisold nodded and said, "No questions, ma'am. It seems you have things well thought out, I will coordinate with my troops to make sure the transfer goes as smoothly as possible. We have the advantage of this Leviathan being less damaged than Alpha, so there is less of a rush. I will let..," he snapped to attention as Katara emerged from the nearby lift bank. His right hand crossed his chest fist closed touched against his left shoulder and then fell back to his side.

Katara had managed to put herself together in the lift, somewhat anyway. There she was, in the flesh and like a risen ghost - Akina. "Welcome to Beta, Taisho. I am honored to have the First Expeditionary Fleet assist us. I am Tal'Cel Katara Caeyara, currently commanding this vessel in lieu of its late Admiral. If you wish, you could join me on the bridge to best assist both MERN forces and your soldiers in the evacuation plans for this arc," she said, her oceanic eyes focused on the woman right in her eyes, tightly bound green ponytail affixed with a clip of a gold Telegath phoenix. Inside Katara felt like she was spinning, hopefully, this will pass.

The incoming communication from the Aiathogu startled her, the image of the Princess consort appeared next to her. Katara bowed slightly, "Yes, I am here Princess. I however am not alone, I am with a Taisho from the Yamataian fleets," she said in hopes of deterring the Princess from saying anything too direct, "How may I assist?" she asked.

MERN Aiathogu

"ISS Sobek, this is the Aiathogu, Your contact for Gamma will be Admiral Cheol Caeyara, he will be able to assist with coordinating your delivery of rations to last them. They will be probably the last Ark evacuated as they are the most intact, I will try to keep you up to date, Aphelion out," she replied to the newly arrived vessel on the scene again. It was a handful keeping things in order.

Uaeos replied his thanks to the Taisho and noted that they would go on the YSS Resurgence, he ordered a shuttle prepared for himself, Naika, and Enandra. He turned and said to Enandra, "My apologies for calling you up early Ensign, but I am assigning you to my detail to go to the Yamataian Starbase called Pisces. It might be helpful to have someone so well versed in communications along," he said, however, he was interrupted as the Aiathogu went into a high alert mode, the lights dimmed and the blue indicators flashed to sound a ship-wide alert. He immediately looked to Naika, who was busy with her comm to Katara and then Aphelion.

MAJOR EVENT

The tactical officer reported, "Ma'am Aiathogu has detected a 'primary' power signature from the MERN Ithond, their bridge crew is unresponsive," he reported as the sensor data rushed in through his vesper with Aiathogu, "It is not the Ithond itself, it is one of her gunships that is currently being launched from her port side production bay," He said as he switched the main projection to capture the image of the gunship leaving the bay. He then put up an image beside it, the energy flow pattern that was enough to make Uaeso gasp, the gunship had powered an Asune reactor, and had formed a stable rift.

"MERN Hinthathae this is the MERN Aiathogu, you are to immediately shut down and surrender your vessel," Admiral Aphelion declared on a channel to the gunship. She only waited a few moments before she was back on the open line to the Star Army ships, "Attention assisting Star Army vessels, we have a situation. The MERN Hinthathae, an Ephaotha-Class Gunship has departed the MERN Ithond, it has an energy source that is a high-level threat. We believe those onboard may be tainted or carrying Asune Dimensional Entities that are highly aggressive and a threat to all of us. Our weapons systems are mostly offline, it is critical you destroy that ship!" she called out in hopes the Yamataian fleet would react.

"Ma'am, the Hinathae is on a collision course with us, our engines are still offline," the tactical officer informed.

YSS Mazu
As Mazumi came up to where she was ordered, she spotted people there and assumed these were who she was supposed to meet. Akina was someone she recognized, having been made the captain of the Mazu, while Kaoru is the first officer. The girl in the kimono made her approach and found herself inside the leviathan. “Ma’am, as you say, the others have arrived in the other airlocks of the ship, so I chose to come here. Anything I can do to be of assistance? I’ve set up my lounge with food and drinks set to Norian dietary requirements.” She said bowing to the guests Akina spoke to.

She processed that royalty would be coming soon too. She knew how to behave with an yamataian princess, but a Norian Queen, she wasn’t sure; she hoped she had time to figure that out. The interior was certainly different what she was used to, and she’d heard that these were supposed to be living ships, meaning she was inside a body.

The leviathan dying wasn’t a good thought and from what she’d heard that would cause a whole other problem as well. She didn’t like leaving when she wasn’t sure everyone had disembarked from the leviathan. She chose to follow the path the kids had taken, her old resistance behavior, acting up as it made her want to make sure the kids were safe. “On my way to follow the kids and get them safe, ” she reported through the communications systems.

ISS Sobek upper bridge
The Sobek started to slow down as Lenna spotted a large possible cargo dock near the side of Gamma ark and then lets Nikicon know of it and put a destination point onto the dock. "ok, Niki I have found a large dock that I think would fit for moving our cargo." Lenna then opens the coms short ranged as to not interfere with others" Sobek to Gamma ark, This is Lenna we are attempting to dock to a cargo port on your port side, Is Admiral Cheol Caeyara awaiting our docking for the transfer of rations?"

Nikicon moved back over to the coms and sensor station as she gasps "ER Lenna check the IFF signatures we had a red one leaving one of the smaller living ships!" Then rushes over to the weapons station as she moves to online the sensors and brings up the weapons systems.

Lenna moves to pull up the sensor data and then the coms as she sends out "Aiathogu, this is Sobek, we are showing a hostile ship on IFF. The Sobek is an old military gunship and might be able to help if needed."

Nikicon frowns as she says "Lenna we have no direct line of sight to that craft, we can fire missiles at it but with how close it is to others we might need someone to act as a spotter, or risk the missiles hitting something we don't want it too. However, all weapons are online, the main cannons are still unloaded. Laser turrets are warmed up and ready for targets still in point defense mode, the Gatling turrets are on standby, loaded and safeties are on.

The cargo hold of the Sobek
The crew starts to arrive in the cargo hold as they get ready to move the cargo within, a few others move to where the seat decks are stored and start to pull off the hold-downs on it and attach them into the hold points on the far end of the cargo bay were Nikicon's cargo containers of soda is stored.

"Orphans?"

Off and on flickered the light above the bathroom mirror and Thia couldn't explain why because she didn't know enough about the capacitance of the scrap metal she'd used to patch the dilapidated lowrise back into the Funky City power grid. When the light flicked back on, she pushed past the shock of the unrecognizably swollen face in the mirror and continued to replace the bandages that covered her battered ear. The light cut out and when it came back, she recognized herself again though there were laugh lines around her brown eyes now as she carefully trimmed the hair of a boy who sat on a stack of ammunition crates while others patiently awaited their turns. Darkness and light. More laugh lines, but one of her eyes was glowing amber and from the other fell tears. She was surrounded by children on a continuous spectrum of ages, whose faces formed another spectrum of emotions from openly sad to merely unhappy, roughly inverse in proportion to their ages.

Thia shook her head to dispel the memories of a life she'd left behind. "Where is the Church?"

Church of The Builders

MERN soldiers and a giant statue of Builder Unya welcomed Thia, but she hardly noticed them as her mismatched eyes skipped over everything else until she saw the children and teens waiting in the pews. When she approached them, she dodged a series of priests and priestesses who were trying to thank her. Once she reached the kids, she set down her medical kit and started to talk, but immediately stopped and took off her AMES helmet first. She was vaguely aware of the lower-than-normal oxygen level and more broadly the risks involved in being on a dying ship without a self-contained environment, but she accepted the risks if it meant giving these poor kids a friendly face.

"Hi everyone! Call me Aunty Thia. I'm part of the Star Army of Yamatai and we're here to help." she said as she put on her warmest smile as she looked around at them. The oxygen level didn't seem too bad, but she wasn't sure she'd be able to tell unless she were about to pass out. Taking a quick estimation of their emotional states, she picked one of the younger children who seemed to be the most terrified. She strode over and knelt down on the floor next to the pew where they were sitting. "Let's start with you. What's your name, sweetie?"
