RP: YSS Hana [YSS Hana] Mission Two: No More Worlds to Conquer

Wardroom

Aw man, no bonding? Latch supposed that it may have not been the most appropriate, but at the same time he honestly did believe that it can't be explained, only experienced. He shrugged, and put his hands in his pockets; this loss isn't any skin off his back, at least.

"Yeah, withoutta doubt, Taii! I'll make sure to get myself comfy when I'm done eating everything that cook has-"

And once again Latch gets interrupted by a spontaneously appearing Neko with a larger than average bust intercepting Lucas! The Iromakuanhe pilot looked around him for a moment, then back at Lucas again, and gave the priest a reassuring thumbs up.

He refrained from saying anything, though, just in case yet another busty Neko decided to join in on the "make physical contact with the priest" train that Kamikaze-taii started, and swiftly interrupt him yet again. Latch also refrained from thinking anything lewd out of sheer coincidences, and just think about how else he could roll with what he had been dealt with... Aside from walking away and finishing his food.

Juno saw hurried movement out of the corner of her vision and almost instinctively positioned herself to shield the plate of tacos she had begun working away at, before she realized why her body had reflexively done that, the engineer's body was shunted by the force of the priest next to her being impacted by the stumbling neko. Several crunching noises layer and her already red-paneled jumpsuit was reddened further by a mixture of mince and hot sauce, a darn shame too because it was a fresh and pristine uniform when she put it on.

"Ah fu- darn, get a room you two" Juno spoke, standing up to examine the mess that was plastered over her front, "It was bloody great food too but damn, now it's just a tasty mess".

Lucas found himself unexpectedly toppled as something soft impacted his head, then followed a body crashed into him. He fell with a thump as they hit that floor, the woman on top of him. Great googely moogely! Oh dear, he was not prepared for this, and his chalk white face was now clearly red.

With a nervously unsteady voice as he layed there, "P pardon me miss, b but are you okay? Please excuse any inappropriate I I swear it wasn't intentional really!"

Aratani's pale brows went up, "Are your books very interesting to Nekovalkyrja? Would you guess that I would enjoy one?" She then looked at the mess of bodies on the floor now. "Oh my gosh...!!"

Junko nearly spoke to Juno about the aether swords before the Santô Hei was forcefully soiled by space meat and salsa. Junko grabbed a nearby napkin and, without thinking, began dabbing at Juno's abdomen before slowing, then stopped when she had dabbed at it once or twice. She made eye contact with the steely-stomached woman and spoke.

"You quite the— Uh, er..." she blushed and looked away from the Minkan dubbed "Arsenal."

The captain stood abruptly and, without cessation, flung her arms forward and brought her hands towards the back of Sakura. She put her hands underneath the cook's arms and pulled her up and away before setting her down on Sakura's own two feet, looking between the both of them.

"Are you both alright?" Kamikaze-taii asked. "Maybe we should desert dessert and clean up..." She offered and let go of Sakura gently and patted her on the back once, masking minimal concern with a warm smile.

Outside of the Wardroom

With Sakura gone, and in a quite spectacular way, Sakaki looked to Hasewega Sara outside of the wardroom. After a moment's pause, she nodded her head and spoke.

"My bracelet picked up some neutrino emissions in the hallway right now," Sakaki said, holding up her wrist. "Does the captain know what those could be?"

Oliver thought for a moment, remembering what Nekos generally liked. "Hmmm. I guess it truly depends on your preferences, but I think most Nekos would find it-" He was then cut off by the piling up of bodies. He began to look over those involved visually to make sure no one had been impaled by eating utensils during the collision or suffered other visual injuries that he could repair.

He believed it was entirely possible, having witnessed stranger things occur than diners being impaled by their cutlery.

Galley

After her sudden trip and even more sudden replacement to standing once again the cook looked around slowly at all the faces pointed in their direction. "You know that sounds like a great idea in an alternate universe but, my duty will be unfulfilled if I do not deliver all of the meal." Suddenly it came back to her that the dessert actually had not been completed anyway, Sakura contemplated reversing her decision and bailing on the extra work but couldn't bring herself to make yet another scene for the crew. "I'm probably already going to get a good enough scolding I don't need to add any more firewood." The neko thought to herself hurrying back into the kitchen.

Once safely back in the galley of solitude Sakura hastily began working on the frosted treats she had gotten most of the way though earlier. Each dish was a glass goblet filled with ice cream, hot fudge and in the centre of the serving tray stood several additional items the crew could choose from. these were sprinkles, wafers, marshmallows and a variety of sauce toppings. Although presently the dishes were lacking the ice cream, not something that could be overlooked by expectant crew members.

This news caused the minkan to raise a brow. "Neutrino emissions? I did not read anything about neutrino emissions in the ship's dossier nor have I encountered any reports about them in my service thus far." Hasewega glanced around the hallway for anything odd before directing herself back towards Sakaki. "Flag down some of the science personnel and confirm your report with them. I will confirm this with the captain and get back to you shortly."

Hasewega moved passed the neko and into the wardroom before stopping as her sense were overwhelmed by the smell of space beef and spices. She glanced over to the crew feasting on the tacos, seeing some of them using their hands as the ate. Is that... Is that how you eat those? She was stuck in the doorway for a few seconds from the mixture of being assaulting by smell of spiced food before she composed herself.

Her eyes scanned around the room, the SACOS highlighting the Taii before she moved in.

"Kamikaze-taii," She said with a bow. "I apologize for the interruption, but there is something that I feel needs to be reported to you."

Beyond the table manners of some of the crew. She was smart enough to keep that part in her head.

Sakaki put up a finger to try to get out of going after the science personnel, but found her lack of impetus to start conversation shadowed by the looming threat that there may now be on the ship.

The captain was helping Lucas up as the SAINT operative joined those in the wardroom. Kamikaze looked slowly and with a smile from the Iromakuanhe to Sara before she tilted her head, which made the side of her head with black hair inch down a bit.

All she said was, "Report, Nitô Heisho."

“The gym sounds positively wonderful.” Sassa answered in a calm and serene tone, as she began to gently massage the inside of Zoe’s thighs. “We can not afford to miss our workouts.“ She continued. “We are infantry, after all.”

Suddenly, Sassa’s attention was distracted by the distinctive crunch of bodies, which had fallen to the floor a few meters away from where Zoe and Sassa were seated. Fortunately, the two women were clear of any flying food or bodies, but the chaos was enough to attract Sassa’s attention, at least. Sassa turned towards Zoe and let a distinctive frown cross her features. She had not seen who (or what) had caused the falls in the first place, but she was clearly not pleased to see food waste on the floor. She hated litter.

“Excuse me for a moment, Zoeichi.” Sassa said to the purple-eyed elf, as she let go of her thigh and stood up from the table. Without another word, Sassa walked into the galley. Only a few moments later, the pigtailed soldier came back out with a full set of cleaning supplies, including a bucket, a mop, a few disposable paper towels, and some cleaning fluid. When all of the bodies were clear, Sassa set to work on clearing the area of food waste, bearing an intent and focused glare in her eyes as she worked.

Lt. Stein continued to eat in silence as the Yamatain crew conversed and enjoyed themselves after such a long time at battlestations. He, however, was having trouble relaxing. As he finished his food he stood and returned his plate and stowed his datajokey in his pocket. As he passed the cook he spoke, "Thanks for the food." He said tersely, then walked out of the wardroom.

But as he passed the newly arrived crewmember, he paused in the hall just past the door. Stein figured that if they were interrupting the CO during a meal it had to be important.

"Thank you, Kamikaze-taii." Hasewega said as straightened herself out. "A subordinate of mine reported to me that their Type 34 MFB was picking up trace amounts of neutrino emissions in the corridors outside of this room. I myself, am not privy to nature of this matter and have sent them to confirm the readings with science personnel."

Hasewega cast a quick glance at the Iroma on the ground before pushing up her SACOS. We need to enforce better disicpline in training.

"I was however implored to ask if you if have any knowledge on this matter."

Lucas got a friendly laugh out of his fellow Iromakuanhe, that's for certain. Latch just couldn't deny the sheer adorableness of the flustered officer, seeing him at the mercy of breasts of all things.

He grabbed Lucas's hand, pulled him up on his feet, and patted the priest on the back. In a hushed voice, Latch made a little comment, mostly to just fluster the priest a little more.

"You know Lucas, now that all that is said and done... You didn't mention you were a chick magnet!"

The edgy-looking pilot snickered.

The colorful woman blinked as she was talked to. "Hm? Yes, I am a scientist. My name is Aradia Sivins; nice to meet you!" Her voice barely reached the neko's hypersensitive ears, almost being swallowed up by the... not-really-big space of the Wardroom.

"oh, um, thanks?" Was all Juno managed to let out before she realized why the other engineer was blushing and her own cheeks decided to adopt a similar tone of red as she stood there, a little stunned as she tried to comprehend all that was going on. Juno suddenly snapped back into action and grabbed two scrunched up handfuls of napkins as she began to clean herself up a bit, keeping her gaze away from Junko. "Well uhm... gotta make sure I can keep up with the combat part of being a combat engineer... right?" she spoke a little awkwardly as some kind of an explanation.

Taco night was intense.

Kamikaze said, "Neutrino emissions could mean that there are guided weapon systems receiving coordinates or there is ship-to-ship communication going on out here." She looked to the scientist sitting with Sakaki hovering nearby and approached as the SAINT Nekovalkyrja spoke.

"Bellflower," Kamikaze said.

"Yes?" the MEGAMI asked.

"Have the sensors operator do a heavy neutrino net scan," the captain added as she listened.

Sakaki said to the scientist, "I have picked up neutrino emissions in the hallway with my Type 34-b bracelet." She took off the item and handed it to the Elysian and said, "They were not solar electron neutrinos but heavy muon or tau emissions. It was hard to tell for my bracelet's poor sensors as it only lasted a second or two."

Wiping her digits clean with a napkin, the colorful woman took the bracelet carefully in her hand. "Odd... I'll look into it. Which hallway and how long ago?" It was... Unlikely, at best, that the emissions were still in the same spot. But it's possible; of course, they could have just accidentally been in the way of a message being sent around. Space was weird like that around Yamataian vessels. Aradia shrugged again, looking to her half-eaten taco on its side. "Thank you for the report, by the way."

As she applied the cleaning solution on the floor and began to mop, the conglomeration of activity near the exit to the wardroom attracted her attention. Cleaning was a relatively mindless chore after all, and Sassa found it quite easy to focus on other things while she carried out her duties. Although she hoped that they had not detected anything of concern, the tone of the voices told her otherwise.

Regardless, Sassa continued to mop to floor until it smelled lightly of cleaning solution. When she was done, the pigtailed Neko stowed away her tools and placed a warning sign on the floor, which was stuck to the ground via molecure ends, so as to prevent it from sliding across the ground or coming loose in the event of a loss of gravity. Everything on an interstellar warship had to be secured in place.

When she was done, Sassa returned the tools to the galley and placed them in their appropriate storage areas. As she walked through the galley, the yellow-eyed Neko could sense the enticing smell of dessert wafting into her nostrils. However, the scent was a short-lived indulgence, as Sassa wasted no time in her duties to stay in the galley a second longer than she needed to.

Sassa returned to the wardroom and took her seat next to Zoeichi.

“I’m back.” She said to the elf. “I think something is going on.” Sassa spoke softly, but with a small amount of concern in her tone. “Do you think we should suit up?”

Oliver turned back to Aratani now that the drama was over and everyone seemed to be in good health. They’d come see him later if they needed medical attention. Maybe.

“So.... what type of books do you like?” He asked Aratani, unaware of the situation that appeared to be brewing. He of course had his standard-issue NSP sidearm at his hip, as per regulation, but surprise was more deadly than any projectile. Even the mightiest of foes could be stomped out of existence by a quick surprise attack. Hopefully, though, it was nothing to be worried about.

Lucas was still red.....and nervous from the incident, "I'm flattered you think so, but it is mortifying to have something to happen. That potential could be taken wrong, and she is admittedly an attractive woman. I would rather persue relationships in a more formal manner...then by accidental contact. Though I doubt anyone is interested in a boring, and a workaholic kind of man as me. Especially a preacher, as it isn't exactly the most attractive profession."

Lucas said this as he gently brushed himself off before picking his pad back up and heading to a corner to work as his embarrassment wore off.
