Medical
Working on how she wanted to proceed, Chieko noted the sudden increase in the noise level. Looking out of the doctor's office, into the main area, the biologist began to feel the gravity of the situation even more. She had to get this figured out soon.
Closing the curtain completely behind her, the young Minkan went back to work taking samples and running them through the available imager. It would have been nice to have her electron microscope, but that was back at the Science Lab where she was starting to believe she'd never get to at this point.
So what else could possibly eat all the nano and femto machines in Hemosynth? Chieko took two paddles from a defibrillator, set a sample between them, then hit it with the charge. If it were nanomachines causing the issue, that ought to do something about them. The biologist then put them through a centrifuge to see if some of the more mechanical parts would separate out into a blackish grey sludge at the bottom.
Kana, on the other hand continued to feebly protest her situation with the odd "Yada!" croaking out through the painful, dizzying fog that was becoming her universe. Once the medic had manged to leave for the care of someone else, however, the indignant chemist began trying to push herself off of the examination bed. Fortunately she only managed an inch before vertigo over took her enough to make her stop.
Isrun, on the other hand did what she could to behave - despite not quite showing much for symptoms yet. Watching Kana, however, she shook her head in resignation, less disappointed than she ought to be.
