RP: Fort Ready [Class 5] Back in Business

Aendri frowned as a communique came through in reality, quickly pulling it up in his HUD so he could read it. Not like he needed to be paying too much attention right now; he could follow these recruits in his sleep if he had to, so he could be a bit distracted. That said, his frown deepened as he read the message though. Who the hell came out here to meet me? I can't name anyone left who would need to talk to me that badly...

Saki recalled her drones closer to her and moved forward. "All right Tosh-san we regroup on Keiko-san's position. We should then move in to intercept enemy. We lost contact with our commander so we must improvise." Saki said into communicator while on the move.

"Me and Keiko-san are in Daisies which means we should lead the assault. We can take much more damage then Tosh-san's Mindy. We can get closer by maneuvrering and then use tou missiles to get enemy shields down adn confuse their sensors. Tosh-san and our fire support wil then have easier job to dispatch them with some medium to long range firing. It won't be easy but I think it is doable. Also use your drones to get more information on enemy and by that more data your computer can use to aim better. They are also good at intercepting enemy missile fire." Before she could even think of it Saki was telling others what to do. How did that happen and where she found it in herself.

She qasped upon realizing it. "I mean this all just a possibilty we could use. It is not like we have to do it this way." She said quickly so it would be sure that she didn't assumed command or anything. She can't command! She is only three months old and this is her first combat action. Luckily nobody could see how red her face got under her helmet. She hoped she won'T be punished for possible jumping chain of command.

Meanwhile she also set her drones to scan area ahead to get information on enemy. Their numbers and positions. She also hoped there will be no more shocktroopers.

Toshiaki set his drones to determine the exact position of the enemies. He then met up with Keiko-san and Saki-san.

Hearing Saki, Toshiaki mentally noted the hesitance she was showing in giving orders.

I can hardly blame her for not wanting to take over. Perhaps I should try to help share the burden some.

Replying the Saki-san and remembering the close call he experienced earlier Toshiaki said, "That sounds good to me, but let's approach cautiously until we have more information on the enemy. Depending upon the make-up of enemy force we might want to try a flanking maneuver or something. We may even need to pull out fast, given that the bobcats are gone we need two priorities, first our survival and second to destroy remaining enemy forces. So make sure we don't get out maneuvered and can retreat. Most battles it is better to survive intelligently than to die bravely."

Ramiro sat back in his chair, watching the battle continue, slightly furious with the way the team was conducting their assault. These guys would never survive against a real enemy, not yet. If Aendri doesn't rip them a new one for this then I definitely will. His attention switched as a little message popped up on a holographic projection window in front of him.
Ramiro leaned over to the comm on his control panel and called down to the shuttle bay. "Valencia-Heisho to Shuttle Bay, could you please have shuttle prepped and ready within the next couple of minutes to take Shasos'Shol-Hei down planet side, he has a visitor that requires his immediate attention. Thank you."

Keiko nodded her head, everything her classmates said was sound enough in her opinion so she kept quiet for the moment and waited until they catched up to her.

She did notice that Saki sounded a little nervous "The plan sounds good to me"

Saki was a little confused. Apparently other agreed with her make-shift plan. Now she only had to hope that the plan will work.

She took a deep breath and said, "Okay then, once our scans of the enemy are done, Me and Keiko-san will move in. Our task will be to tie enemy attention to us. We will have to get close enough quickly, which will require a lot of maneuviring. Meanwhile I suggest that you coordinate your sniping attack with our support Tosh-san. Keiko-san we will stay together as long as it will be posibble. Shoul any enemy break up their formation to move against Tosh-san we will probably have separete and one us closer to that enemy will have get its attention and stop it from getting to Tosh-san. Also as I already said, use your drones to their full potential adn when you are close enough don't be afraid to take their shields out with missile fire. Any other suggestions?" Saki ended her short monologue.

"Good Saki-san. Let's all get moving." said Toshiaki.

Toshiaki checked what his drones were scanning at the enemy position and fell in behind Keiko and Saki.

The drones picked up no new information, just some slight shield damage. As the squadron regrouped and moved towards Keiko, the two Rippers that had previously been concentrating on the Bobcats turned and started moving towards the squadron. Picking a target, both began firing on Keiko, one missed slightly while the other scored a direct shot. Keiko's shields showed a reading of roughly 40% and showed no other damage.

"Alright guys we can do this. Let's have our fire support on the left Ripper and everyone else focus on the right."

Toshiaki then aimed his plasma rifle on the right Ripper and opened fire using his drones for targeting aids.

"We do it the way we planned," Saki said as she moved against enemy to take its attention. "Tosh-san coordinate you fire with our artillery support." She added and then moved her concentration towards the fight.

She boosted forward and noticed that Keiko got few hits, but her shields could take it. Saki raised her own rifle, let her drones target Ripper firing at Keiko. Her targeting computer too data from both drones and used it. Saki then started firing short bursts against Ripper as she maneuvered towards him. But she was still keeping an eye on second enemy being ready to dodge any fire that come towards her from him.

Ugh... First hit direct hit. I just hope it's the last.

Keiko followed the game plan, maneuvering with Saki towards the Ripper with that hit her while trying to make herself as difficult a target as possible. She deployed her tactical drones to assist her computer with the targeting while she kept most of her attention on her movements.

She then opened fire on the Ripper that managed to land a solid hit on her.

Toshiaki's shot hit the right tipper, skimming the side of its abdomen area. Saki's shot, a little bit closer, scored a hit right to the shoulder. However, Keiko's shots were so far off you'd think she were blindfolded. After the onslaught, drones showed the right Ripper's shield to be at roughly 70%

As the group ahead battled, there was still the pair of Mindys that had failed to initiate combat, consisting of Yume and Saito. Suddenly, the captured Plumeria that had remained stationary, several light years away from the battle, began to charge its Aether Cannon. With a burst of energy, the Aether Shock Array fired at the two Mindys, obliterating Saito and taking out all of Yume's shields. Before he would even have time to recover, the ship fired two high-maneuverability, anti-starship torpedoes at Yume, spelling certain doom for him.

"Don't stop now!" Saki radioed to others and fired few more bursts. She also used one of her drones to start gathering data on second RIpper for her missiles. She also gave it tast to mark a point out when Saki gets to effective fire range.

"Didn't intend on it Saki-san!" wryly replied Toshiaki.

Toshiaki fired once again at the Ripper, but this time decided to use his shoulder Gauss Cannon.

The cannon works well against us when the Rippers use it so let's give them a taste of their own medicine.

What the hell was that!?

Keiko lost focus of the battle as she tried to figure out just what happened to the ones that stayed back.

"Guys, we lost Yume and Saito" she said as she started moving, aiming at her target once again Keiko opened fire once again.

Just as Keiko spoke, the torpedo slammed Yume's power armor, taking it out. The shots from the three of them all slammed into the ripper, all very accurate. The shots cleaned completely through the ripper's shields, but barely weren't enough to start taking out the armor. The two rippers continued to fire at Keiko, trying to take out at least one of their enemies. Both of them, too, managed to hit their target, cleaning through Keiko's shields and starting to do some serious damage to her chassis.

If we're facing fire power that big in this simulation then we're pretty screwed. Might as well take some of the bastards with us.

Seeing Keiko get hit, Toshiaki said, "Keiko-san, focus on yourself right now. If you've been hit pretty bad get behind Saki-san, I think we've nearly got one of them!"

Firing the gauss cannon at the weakening Ripper, Toshiaki hoped that they'd finish these Rippers before whatever killed Yume had a chance to fire again.

"Keiko-san I am moving in front of you, focus on nto getting killed." Said Saki over comunicatior and started moving in front of Keiko with shield hand raies in front, rifle set over it. She still had full shield so she can cover her comrade for now.

"Tosh-san be careful about that ship. We are near the enemy and I don't think they will fire at use. I suggest you use one of your drones to see what is the ship up to." She said then. Trying to lead others was extremely hard. She felt that she can shot down any chance of succes. Well succes, with half of their unit dead it can hardly be called succes. If they would only take out that stupid two Ripper.

With new goal Saki raised her rifle again. Determined to kill the bastard, she started firing again.

"Thanks for the support" Keiko said, taking cover behind Saki she tried to get her shields to recover a little. To try and keep herself alive she raised her physical shield in case any of the shots got though Saki.

"And speaking of support, we haven't been getting any. Saki, ask for it to shoot down that other Ripper" Keiko said before proceeding.
