Shuttle bay

Sune sat in the Telemachus as he waited for the Eucharis to engage the NMX Scout. There was no way he was going to fly out of the gunship and make for the planet while the Scout was just looking for anything to blast. Once the battle was joined, he would launch and make for the planet. He was pretty sure that after this trip the T7 was probably going to need a new paint job because he was going to blister most of it with speed.

YSS Eucharis

With the three other gunships supporting it, the Eucharis was able to slag the NMX scout in seconds. With that accomplished, Hanako called the shuttle and cleared Sune for takeoff.

Sune lifted the Telemachus off the shuttle bay floor and out of the door using the gravitics. Once clear of the ships, he accelerated fast enough to press him into the seat from inertia. He streaked towards the upper atmosphere while feeding the navigation system the coordinates of Ramiro's last transmission. He instructed it to program a high v descent to the surface.

"Telemachus to Away Team. Squadron has dispatched the NMX Scout, en route to packages reported coordinates. Anticipate NMX recursion since their scout is destroyed. Good chance we will be treating the landing zone as a hot LZ. Jalen-Shosa out." he sent via radio directed at the surface.

He modulated the shields for thermal mitigation as the T7 shot through the Exosphere and and plunged into the thermosphere. He made constant minor trajectory adjustments as the shuttle was buffeted by the thin atmosphere. It took only a matter of minutes for the shuttle to slice through the mesosphere and hit the stratosphere.

Sune adjusted the shield modulation and angle to protect the shuttle and serve as an atmospheric brake to help slow the descent. He pulled out of the hard descent and entered the troposphere at mach 4 and slowing.

As he did the damage from the bombardment was readily apparent.

"Telemachus to Away team. Request beacon for landing coordinates." he sent as the shields shut off and the shuttle was in atmospheric travel mode.

Planet H - Surface

"Klein to Telemachus, lock in on Ramiro, he should have the objective if she is to be had. Remaining personnel will gather at base encampment due to its central location." Helen communicated, before she opened up a communication line, no need for further excessive security.

"Helen to all away team personnel, if you are not carrying an objective individual , get to the encampment for pick-up! If you are carrying our objective, activate a beacon and prepare for on-site pick-up." Helen instructed, before breaking direction to head to the encampment. One thing was absurd though... there was no way which they were going to be able to all get back to the encampment in any reasonable sum of time while remaining in atmosphere. "Those who are away from the encampment and need to traverse the distance, break to low orbit altitude and use the speed advantage." she advised, before she did just that.

Akemi did as told and returned to the encampment. She was glad this mission was seemingly coming to an end. She hoped the approach and objective of the next one would be more straightforward.

Zone 5

Takeyu came to a halt and looked toward the direction of the encampment. "Time to return Reika! Head back to the camp," ordered Takeyu as he turned and made his way back to camp.

Konoka activated a beacon so that the Eucharis could find Ramiro, Himeni, and herself. "The YSS Eucharis is coming for us, Hanako-hime," she informed their castaway clone girl. "It's time for you to leave this place behind. It will be nice to be back on a starship of Yamatai, won't it?"
Konoka smiled reassuringly at Himeni, but inside she had a disturbing thought. How will Himeni-sama react when she sees Hanako-Shosho? There cannot be two Hanakos on the same ship for long...can there?

Telemachus
As soon as Sune received Konoka's beacon, he altered the shuttles course and started final descent. He landing as close to the coordinates as the terrain would permit.

"Telemachus ready to receive package." he sent, as he made his way to the back of the shuttle he opened the door and took a defensive position with his suit sealed and his Ke-M2-W2901 Aether Beam Saber-Rifle charged and ready incase anything hostile showed up.

Eucharis Bridge

"Thirty-one ships now entering the system," Blackberry announced. "Scanning...confirmed as NMX designs."

Base Camp

Three T7 shuttles rushed down the the camp and set down on the tops of each rapid deployment module, and armored nekos deployed to detech them from the surface and expediently attach them to the shuttles. "Anyone here needs to get on board now!" shouted Shoi Rascoe Voe of the YSS Vesper, using telepathy, radio, and his DAISY loudspeaker.

Akemi ran to the nearest shuttle and boarded it. Once inside, she took up one of the spots at the end of the craft meant for power armor and shut down her suit.

Tomomi was startled when the module shook with the roar of the propulsion drive of a shuttle. She came out to see what all of the commotion was about.

"Anyone here needs to get on board now!" The voice came to her from three sources equally loud. After taking off the headset on her right here to rub her ears, she put it back on and went towards the nearest shuttle she could get on.

"Don't have to tell me twice." She said murmuring to herself. Once she was in, she strapped herself into a seat.

So much for putting this suit through its paces Bors thought as he saw the shuttle rapidly approaching. As soon as it touched down and the call to board was announced he was halfway up the boarding ramp and once aboard he took a seat closest to the cockpit.

Misato watched the shuttles as they flew in, she knew it was time to go so she moved towards the shuttles. She didn’t want to board till the last moment so that she could make sure that everyone in the camp got aboard. So she waited at the foot of the boarding ramp till the whole team that was going to show did and boarded.

When he feet touched the ground Takeyu went running for the nearest shuttle, having landed a short distance from it. When he stepped aboard he turned around toward Reika. "Hurry aboard Reika!" he shouted and gestured for her to come into the shuttle.

Reika dropped to the ground behind Takeyu without a pause in movement, running behind the chief engineer -- her suit augmenting the speed of her steps. "I'm coming, I'm coming!" Reika shouted in response. As the Neko stood on the threshold of entering the shuttle, she cast one last glance at the base behind her before retreating inside.

She moved to one of the seats and strapped herself in before turning to address Takeyu. "Let's hope this shuttle-ride is a little less... turbulent... than our last one."

Takeyu gave a nod of agreement, he didn't say a word however as he waited to see if Helen would arrive to board the transports before they would leave, he'd stay at the doors entrance just in case.

Base Camp

With the portable outpost modules secured to the undersides of the shuttles, the pilots lifted off the icy mountaintop and began racing back towards open space in a hurry. The force of their engines was so great that the passengers had to hold on for dear life in order to avoid tumbling out the still-open back doors.


Zone 2

After a very brief ransacking on her home, the older Hanako filled a basket with a few special souveneirs and then sprinted into Sune's waiting shuttle, joining him in the cockpit. "Taisa Hanako," she introduced herself to the handsome officer.

Telemachus - LZ

"Jalen-Shosa ma'am executive officer of the Eucharis. Longer introductions once we are aboard her ma'am. We have hostiles inbound." He said with a slight bow.

"Valencia-Juni, Konoka-Hei, get your butts on the shuttle now or its going to be a long walk. We have a massive NMX force inbound."

He returned to the cockpit and started the working on their departure course.

Hearing Sune's order, Konoka got onboard the shuttle VERY quickly. "That was fast," she smiled. Never heard Sune speak so shortly, Konoka thought. There must be some level of urgency to our departure. I bet it's the squids at it again!

After she strapped herself into a seat next to Himeni, Konoka called to Ramiro: "You heard him! Let's get off this planet and introduce Hanako-hime here to our home, the Eucharis."

"I hope you like it, Himesama," she muttered. The Hanakos still hadn't met yet. Things were definitely going to be interesting when they got back!

Konoka was ready to get off Planet H, nevertheless.

Zone Two

Ramiro barely need to be told, as he was sprinting right behind Hanako, weapon loaded. He wasn't planning on letting the objective go running around un-escorted. One he was on board and in his seat, he strapped himself in.

"Trust me Konoka, I'm sure she'll be familiar with her own vessel."
