RP: YSS Aeon [Mission 7.5] Aeon Base

Medical

Sachi grabbed a wipe and a adhesive bandage. A moment later the cut on her forehead was taken care of. She walked over to the aliens, "Which one of you is Marnissa? And what can I do to help assist."

Marnissa stepped away from her fellow Thaurgons. Sterile saline at first to clean their wounds. Then with your assistance A laser scalpel to cut away the necrotic tissue."

After a moment of letting the stimulant sink in and start to work, Eiven made his way over to Eun-Kyung with the PMS-1 to pick up her condition from the nanites. As he gradually required less and less head shaking, the information from the machine made him sigh a little. The doctor began programming in the time for the injuries and a targeted treatment machine into the first hemosynth tube before returning to the other Minkan.

"Well Ma'am," the old man began, "Are you ready for a dip?"

Bridge

Katae emerged onto the bridge at a run, and came to a stop next to the center chair. She looked at her XO, "Situation Report, who the hell is shooting at us and why?"

'Freyja-Hei, launch the Tenba, take up a position to provide cover for the Aeon.' She sent mentally to Oinari.

Sachi gathered the items the alien needed, and returned. "Let's set you up over here out of the way of traffic. " She indicated over by the containment cells. Marnissa followed as did her fellow Thaurgons. Once there she took the offered saline and started cleaning the wounds of one of the technicians. She then motioned for Sachi to come closer. "See how this part of the limb is discolored. It needs to be removed, as it is necrotic. Removing it will ensure that the limb will regrow in time. " Sachi offered Marnissa the laser scalpel but after a moment of fiddling with it, she handed it back to Sachi. "Perhaps it would be best for you to operate this. I will supervise." she offered.

Sachi took the tool, turned it on and began to slice into dead tissue. She was doing her best to avoid slicing into healthy tissue, and was Marnissa offered input, adjusted her movements.

Engineering Conduit

Hisa shook her head to try and clear her thoughts. 'Eternity, what is going on, and where is Okumura-Hei?' she inquired telepathically of the ship's MEGAMI

'The ship has been fired upon by planetary based missile batteries. Okumura-Hei was last scene entering the conduit you assigned her.' came the response to her query

Hisa sent a mental call to Rin 'Okumura-Hei, are you okay?'

Receiving the order Freyja made her way to the shuttle and sealed it up behind her. Once she dropped into her pilot seat to took a half moment to take a deep breath and set her helmet upon her hand and locked it into place. Once she was settled she brought the controls back up and un-docked from the Aeon. Using the maneuvering thrusters she brought the shuttle away from the ship. Hovering free for a moments she brought the main drives up and powered away further.

"Aeon Actual this is Shuttle, taking up cover position... High and Aft."

Not wanting to wait on the Chui's health any more than he had already risked, Eiven brought Eun-Kyung into the first open hemosynth tube and set her up in it. He then closed it up and began setting the time for both her missing leg and the multitude of fractures and other issues. Once sure he had entered everything in, the doctor double and triple checked his work before setting the tube to fill.

Next, the man moved on to Sunflower - taking her to the next tank and setting her up inside. Again, he closed the door, set the time, performed his checks, then told it to fill. Eiven, then a little drained from that, grabbed a chair to sit down in for a moment and looked to Sachi and Marnissa to see how they were doing.

"How are you two doing so far?" he asked, sounding almost like he might have been trying not to seem out of sorts.

Medical

Sachi looked up from her work on a Thaurgon, to answer Eiven. "It is going well. I'm not exactly use to cutting pieces of a patient off, but Marnissa-san says that they will regrow. I am ready to move to the second one. How are you doing sir?" She inquired.

"We have been pinged by several radar sites." Misaki replied as she moved from the captain's chair, glancing towards the other woman to ascertain her condition. Satisfied, she directed her attention to their readouts, and the tactical information flowing to her from the ship herself. "Continue to fire, same priorities. The missiles began firing after the sweeps located us, taisa. If I had to hypothesize, they are probably related to our friends somehow."

It didn't please her at all to know the extent of the damage, but with the tenba's additional screening support they stood a better chance of avoiding more contacts in an effort to fight back or get out of range. When she finished her sitrep, she brought up the locations active missile batteries were at, crossing them with where they were extrapolating the radar was hitting them from, and continued to guide the vessel as she waited on her word.

Misaki's last volley from the inverted ship dealt with the latest barrage of missiles. At the moment the gunship appeared to be out of targeting range.

Katae linked with Eternity to get a quick update on the events that transpired. She made several mental notes. There was not attempt to contact the ship by the Thaurgons, no warning or challenge. But also troubling was that her XO failed to notice that the ship was being painted with radar or take a defensive posture.

'Would you care to explain how you failed to notice that we were being targeted by multiple radar locations' she sent telepathically as she reached for the handset on her station. She punched in the code to link to the away team.

"Away Team this is Aeon, Aeon actual speaking. Ship has been fired upon by missile emplacements. No challenge or warning was given. Damage containable, but what is going on down there. Firing without warning could be considered an act of war. SITREP immediately." She released the transmit key and looked around. "Chusa I want damage and casualty reports ."

"Good, good," the old doctor nodded at Sachi's progress. He then rubbed his face and temples while trying not to shake his head again.

"I feel like I just recently got caught chatting up someone else's girl," Eiven grinned ruefully in reply about his condition, then chuckled lightly, "I suppose I should be marginally embarrassed at how well I both recognize it , and can be sure I'll be alright soon."

The Minkan then drew a deep breath through his nostrils and exhaled strongly before testing himself. He began by looking around the room to check how well he could focus in on them, looking only moderately disappointed at the minor amount of lag. He then tested coordination and dexterity by seeing how quickly he could accurately touch his thumb to his fingers in sequence on his right hand, then his left.

:: Shuttle SARP: Enroute to YSS AEON::

Sheela at in the co-pilot seat, assisting the pilot heading out to catch up with the YSS AEON at it's last known location. They talked quietly as they traveled through space. Every once in awhile she would get up and move from the bridge of the shuttle to fetch refreshments for the both of them and check up on cargo they was carrying.

After a long flight, coming into the system that was the last reported position of the YSS AEON, Sheela activated the communication and began to transmit on the YSS AEON 's ship to ship tactical frequency.

"YSS Aeon, this is the resupply shuttle SARP." Sheela spoke carefully so she could be understood by those receiving her com call over the radio. "Wez...We need instructions to yoo...your location to meet up with you for resupply and crew transfer."

Bridge

Katae could not believe that they were being contacted by a shuttle at this moment. She picked up the handset and replied. "YSS Aeon to Shuttle, be advised we are in a hot landing zone. Sending coordinates for a safe approach." She then turned to Gi, "Shina-Heisho, right the ship and proceed to the closest clearing to put down for external survey and rendezvous with that inbound shuttle. Provide them with a trajectory that will keep the clear of the Thaurgon controlled area."

:: Raccoon type Shuttle::

"YSS Aeon, Shuttle. Received coordinates, will keep yooz informed of ourz progress," Sheela replied and transferred the coordinates to the Pilot's screen and watched out the window as they traversed the Star system to the proper planet that YSS Aeon was on. Monitoring the frequency for farther response from the YSS Aeon.

She looked thoughtful to what her new assignment held in store for her. She never worked on a warship before. But had spent time on a carrier type warship. This ought to be very interesting to say the least.

Kata'nova laid on her stomach, her mind slightly a daze from the second round that had actually caught her entirely off guard - resulting in her hitting the deck on her chest so hard it knocked the breath out of her..... it also caused her head to hit the helmets internal faceplate that was originally intended to protect 'her' from external fire; now she could taste a little bit of blood in her mouth as she turned onto her back and stared up at the ceiling and let out a few breaths, her chest hurt and her lungs were currently burning.

Glancing over at Josea, she wondered if he was ok.

:: Raccoon T7 Transport Shuttle ::

Sheela let the assigned pilot fly the shuttle as she watched and ready to assist if she was needed. The butterflies were acting up as they got closer to her new assignment. Her tail wiggled in confinement as she became more restless as they got closer to rendezvous with the YSS Aeon.

Soon they was reaching the planet that the YSS Aeon was located. Pilot nodded to her to get final approach instructions from the YSS Aeon.

"YSS Aeon, Shuttle SARP is in orbit and awaiting final flight path to make rendezvous with you." Sheela called on ship to ship frequency.

She fidgeted to the amusement of the pilot, trying to calm down. She hated this feeling, but she always got it when getting a new assignment. It was infuriating, especially at her age.

Josea lay on the floor face down. His right arm bent at an unnatural angle from his shoulder. A moment later Kata'nova would hear him groan. "What in the name of science happened?" he muttered. He tried to roll onto his back but any attempt to roll himself caused pain from his right arm that was like a white hot poker.

Katae looked at their trajectory and listened to the report from the Ground team. She pondered her response.

Meanwhile Gi slowed the Gunship and rotated the warship so that it was facing back towards the area of the planet claimed by the Thaurgon. She opened a channel to the T7. "YSS Aeon to Shuttle. We are holding position at 300 meters off the ground. Transmitting beacon and trajectory."

Katae meanwhile picked up the handset and responded to Saki. "Ground team this is Aeon-Actual. We were following the flight path that your shuttle took to approach the Thaurgon Garrison. We were flying with weapons secure, sheilds down and approaching. They started targeting us with radar after we passed their outer emplacements. They waited until we were in range of multiple batteries before they opened fire. They made no attempt to contact us. Take whatever precaution you need to ensure the safety of the team."

:: Raccoon T7 Transport Shuttle ::

Sheela perked up and responded when the call came back to the response she had sent. "USS Aeon, Shuttle. Wez gotten course and zeroing on yooz position." Transferring the info to the pilot's heads up display.

He nodded, acknowledging that he received it as the T7 changed vector and dove into the atmosphere on the proper course. Working the controls.

Sheela could only watch, restraining herself from assisting him as they lost altitude till reaching 300 meters above the ground, seeing the big warship hovering before them with the hanger open.

:: YSS AEON ::

Shuttle landed gently in the hanger as the pilot put the helm on standby. He nodded to Sheela as she unstrapped from the co-pilot seat. "Been nice flying with you, Santo Swiftpaws."

"Like wise, my new friend. May the skies be free of hazards," As she left the bridge of the shuttle, and then helped unload the supplies and her meager stuff. Just her issue duffel and pack.

Soon she was on her way to report in, with the pack straps over one shoulder and pulling the duffel behind her as she made her way to the bridge of the YSS Aeon.

Once the shuttle was unloaded, it left to return back to it's mother ship. The pilot radio'ed Gi, letting her know that he was returning back to his ship and was cleared of the YSS Aeon and dropped of one new crew to the ship.

Sheela entered the lounge of the ship, seeing the two on the floor. One had labored breathing and one had an arm at an awkward position. She dropped her pack to the floor and letting go of her duffel, letting clatter to the floor.

Being careful, she eased the one wearing a helmet with the breathing problems into a new position as she did a quick search for additional wounds, but hopefully not finding any. She then moved to the one with an obvious broken arm.

Seeing him trying to stir, she spoke, "Be still." Kneeling next to him, she looked him over, gently feeling his arm. Scowling at seeing it and feeling it to determine how bad it was broken, " Squeeeee...." She continued to run her hands over him to see if he had any more injuries.

Josea's head was finally starting to clear. He looked briefly at who was talking to him by turning his head. When he saw Sheela he wondered if his head trauma was more severe. "Who are you?" he asked resisting asking what. He also used his Inertia Control ability to lift himself off the floor and to roll over to see the person better. "Blow to the head, and dislocated shoulder need to immobilize the arm.. " He said,

Sheela eyes widen at seeing him raise off the floor. "Mo-Mousian female... Iz Sheela." As she set to work immobilizing his arm. Being careful not to aggravate the injury any more than necessary, using her belt as binding. Then used her tail as a belt to hold her duty uniform pants in place. "Whot species and name?" She asked, making sure his arm was secured properly. "Is yooz friend," nodding towards the helmeted species. "Iz could not find anything wrong, except that species breathing is troubled from whot Iz hear." It was obvious Yamataian language wasn't her native language. "Yooz need to stay awake. Can yooz make it to the Infirmary?"

Looking at him with concern as she leaned back, sitting in a kneeling position.

After about ten minutes of sitting, Eiven tried his dexterity again as he realized things had started to come through a whole lot clearer. Much to his relief, and satisfaction, the doctor's fingers performed much better - demonstrating his body's proper baseline. Seeing this he soon stood up and walked over to Sachi and Marnissa.

"So who else needs help?" the Minkan asked with a much clearer voice.

"I suspected the paint we read from radars were an attempt to ascertain our strength, given they were wary of us at best, in the meantime we were prioritizing repairs to damage systems. I apologize, Taisa." Misaki replied as her mind took a note to review her own personal recording of the day's events when she had some time. Of course, she felt even worse that she had not assigned the aliens a higher threat level, and that it had caused them to be hit by surprise: not something the seasoned warrior was known for. Of course, things had made more sense in the war than diplomatic concerns, but to her it was no excuse.

"If they cannot disable or destroy us it puts them in a tenuous position, unless they have reinforcements incoming. We should maintain watch for any possible vessels coming, in case that prompted their attempted assault." She suggested.

"I am surprised such an odd shuttle arrived just now, her credentials check out?" The XO queried as an afterthought while she arranged how to prioritize repairs given their heightened status.
